I am struggling to understand why the first bitcoin address generating via private key is 1EHNa6Q4Jz2uvNExL497mE43ikXhwF6kZm. Example mentions: https://www.palkeo.com/code/stealing-bitcoin.htmlhttp://directory.ioI assume they call it the first address because its private key may be the first that comes out when we are start encrypting from an optic of our standard decimal system, and starting on 1 or maybe 0. What is confusing me is that if I encrypt "1" with sha256 I get the key "c555eab45d08845ae9f10d452a99bfcb06f74a50b988fe7e48dd323789b88ee3" and that key when converting to WIF format is not the same private key as above. http://gobittest.appspot.com/PrivateKeyPlease clarify what am I missing.

I am starting a topic for sports events tips and instead of mannually posting the tip, I would like to automatically post on my topic as soon as I receive it- the more time pass the less valuable is the tip, so if I can share it quickly it's better.
I know this forum has no api however I would like to know if there is any way to post stuff automatically (not spam!)

I just found out on a thread on a lost thread of this forum ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361967.0) that Mark Karpelès owns Bitcoins.com since year 2000. This is not just weird how he got the domain since then, but also finantially very good for those awaiting a good outcome on the mtgox bankrupcy process. If sold, this domain could bring some millions in. What you think about that? Hello.
I am developing a bitcoin related website and now we finally reach the payments part. Users should be given with a single address assossiated to that account, and when an amount enters that address, the user balance is credited with that respective amount (on database)
Funds should also be immediatelly (or a frequent routine collecting all addresses..) transfered to a cold wallet to be securelly stored.
I have seen a similar service (free) being offered by both blockchain and also coinbase, it seems that they both have very developing material.
What do you recommend? Thanks

I was checking the avalon site and i found that the price of a rell with 2500chips x 1.5gh/s, totaling 3750gh/s in chips "just" cost 15 bitcoins. (than is like 80% off the price per gh/s of final products on sale). And guess what.... INSTANT DELIVERY which means the chips would be with buyer in just +-5days (from china).
My question is, if i order this and hire someone specialized (and very capable) in the subject, could he be capable to work this "raw" material and build me a kick ass miner like butterfly or others around there; or it's just too complicated by going from a single chip to the final product??
I appreciate your attention

Can someone explain me why prices on BTC-E are currently significantly lower than on any other exchanger? Some weeks ago it used to be MTgox the only one with prices above avarage because of the delays on payments, but bitstamp and coinbase catched gox and only the btc-e remained low. What happened?
