1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / For deletion on: December 31, 2017, 05:23:42 AM
Apparently video was a hoax.
2  Economy / Speculation / Whales testing the market to see how much they can manipulate? on: December 24, 2017, 07:45:28 PM
Does it seem like the whales/banks are testing both a stressed market (the other day) and slow market like today to see how much they can manipulate the market in any state?
I think they're all getting baselines of movement while they can.

Maybe I'm way off, but it seems like whales are having fun.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Looks like BCH is being more subtle w/manipulation on: December 24, 2017, 01:21:12 PM
Vermin and his cronies appear to be putting up smaller buy walls this round versus obvious ones yesterday.

They're trying to force weak hands on both sides based on appearances anyway.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which altcoin will stop the bleeding/red Coimmarketcap??? on: December 22, 2017, 10:07:45 PM
Well, maybe the dust has settled.

Any bets as to which alt leads the charge back into the green besides Komodo?

Maybe they all come back up at the same time like has happened in the past?

Hopefully people held their positions and didn't get clobbered.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / CBOE files for 6 ETFs amid the chaos on: December 22, 2017, 08:54:13 PM
Overall, this is likely more positive news for BTC. There will, however, be more ways to short it.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin has been here before-RELAX and HODL on: December 22, 2017, 05:37:02 PM

7  Economy / Speculation / Etrade Joins Increasingly Crowded Bitcoin Futures Market on: December 22, 2017, 05:24:58 PM
Amid all of this negativity, some positive moves toward mainstream adoption of crypto is happening.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / “Courage is being scared to death—but saddling up anyway.” – John Wayne on: December 22, 2017, 05:10:00 PM
Be bold and HODL.

“Be bold when others are scared.” -Thomas J. Powell

Don't give in to the FUD and whales.
 Shocked
As others have pointed out, this kind of drop has happened before and then Bitcoin has steadily risen from the ashes.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin ETFs getting closer! on: December 21, 2017, 02:04:29 PM

This is definitely interesting. I'm sure she has influence far beyond what is being discussed.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin ETF status-looks promising on: December 17, 2017, 02:59:26 PM
Here's what appears to be a good look at the status of potential ETFs coming to life relatively soon. I imagine the Winklevoss one will be the hardest to get approved because it will actually uses Bitcoin versus cash settlement.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / John McAfee upgrades prediction for 2020- will still eat his you-know-what on: November 29, 2017, 05:28:24 PM
It looks like John McAfee is still willing to eat his you-know-what on his revised price for 2020 to $1 million USD according to his twitter account. I guess all of his expert analysis and models with whatever his background it was wrong.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Freightjoe--further uniting BTC HODLers on: November 23, 2017, 12:33:48 PM
I'd like to personally thank Freightjoe for continuing to unite and continuing to strengthen BTC holders resolve, despite your Boy Who Cried Wolf SPAM thread attack. You are certainly doing this forum a service and giving people a chance to prove you wrong time and time again despite your blatant FUD and spam.

You really need to, as I've said, include the altcoin crowd in your great crusade. Oh wait, you haven't saved them.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Freightjoe... put your money where your mouth is. on: November 21, 2017, 04:25:07 PM
Since you seem to be on a major crusade to "help the uneducated" about the evils of Bitcoin and all crypto, as you have said in your many many threads, start posting some of your threads in the altcoins sections.

You had a cop out the other day about not having the time. The amount of threads you have posted proves the contrary is true.

So, I'd encourage you to spread your knowledge to those forums as well. Rescue as many as you can, since that is your mission.   Roll Eyes

Make sure to definitely address the Top 10 alts and the ICOs as I mentioned in another reply to you in another thread.

Saying anything about Bitcoin being the widest audience is a cop out as well. There's a large altcoin movement here.

Are you posting the same helpful information on Reddit?

I still have a firm belief that you're a shill and FUDer. Nothing more.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Brit's Man Group may add more legitimacy to BTC! on: November 15, 2017, 05:51:09 AM
This should fit in well with the CME futures trading! UK getting into the act would be outstanding!

16  Economy / Speculation / Will Bitcoin hit $8k in December due to CME on: November 14, 2017, 07:41:59 PM
Any guesses as to whether BTC can make another run during the 2nd week of December when CME is slated to go 'live' with the futures trading?

Seems like they've firmed the date up:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/not-going-to-let-it-go-to-zero-cme-chief-downplays-fears-ahead-of-december-bitcoin-futures-launch/

Hopefully BTC will start another nice run and get out of the doldrums created by Ver and his gang.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it over?---The coup d'etat attempt by Ver and his cronies? on: November 12, 2017, 08:18:31 PM
Do you think that the last 24 hours are indicative of things to come over the next few weeks, or was that it?

I assume the BCH cabal made a ton more money and will simply keep doing these pumps until BTC is no longer worth the most/have the biggest cap and then Bitcoin Cash will be able to proclaim it is the 'true Bitcoin.'

The difficulty of BCH is expected to rise now, isn't it? I was thinking I had read that. Will those miners who supported segwit2 just keep mining BCH just to cripple BTC?

It feels like Ver and that group are almost doing something like a stair step type of attack. BCH is sitting over 2x it's recent price and that is the new jumping off point for a potential next pump. Then say they pump again from the $1300ish range and after that pump, BCH would sit at something like $1600. Could that happen over and over while Bitcoin slowly weakens at the same time and drops from $6200ish down to somewhere in the mid $5k range.
Just rinse and repeat?

How does this get stopped???

Hopefully this has simply solidified BTC and there won't be any more panic dumps and come early next week, the articles will be about how BTC yet again survived an attack against it and the value will rise again.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What happens to the current exchanges if Bitcoin gets on the world's exchanges? on: November 01, 2017, 07:47:46 PM
So, what happens to the current crypto exchanges if Bitcoin gets on the world's exchanges?

I think we all have a feeling that Bitcoin and crypto currency will continue to gain legitimacy to where they start appearing more and more on the world's larger exchanges.

Obviously, it is still a ways off, and that's probably good. However, with Goldman Sachs and CME already looking to use Bitcoin as instruments for investment, there is an
and awakening possible if it can be proven out.

Do you think that, for example, people that are on this forum would stay loyal to the exchanges that were there for them in the earlier days of the Bitcoin phenomenon?

I'd hope that the exchanges that treat their customers well and continue to are able to stay viable and retain most of us "small" investors and folks that like the whole
idea of keeping things kind of 'under ground' for lack of a better term.
