25  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / XRP, wydzielone z: "Pospekulujmy o aktualnej i przyszłej cenie BTC." on: December 29, 2020, 11:33:37 AM
No to XRP, jest na tej samej drodze co Bitshares, lub Obyte kiedyś Byteball, jeszcze w czasach świetności.

Właśnie dostałem email od Coinbase, że konczą możliwość handlu XRP na ich giełdzie.

Do stycznia zamkną wszystkie pary XRP.

No to może być pierszy gwóźdź do trumny, a jeżeli XRP idzie na dół, to jego największy konkurent na rynku, czyli XLM Stellar powinien poszybować w stratosfere.

27  Economy / Exchanges / What is with Bitmex???? on: October 01, 2020, 04:42:14 PM

Looks like fake news because the Bitmex website is still working and trading ongoing.

But would be great to have some more info on this, for sure will impact prices across all markets and as we can see BTC is going down already!

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The Airdrop Nobody is Talking About, shhh. on: September 27, 2020, 12:53:58 PM
All UNI airdrop recipients addresses are eligible to receive the following coins:

1. ANY (One coin each wallet)

To spread the word about Anyswap project, the team airdropped ANY coins to all addresses that received Uniswap (UNI) airdrop.

How to get ANY airdrop?

It is very easy.

1. Connect Metamask wallet to Fusion Network as well as BNB Mainnet.
2. Add the Network & custom RPC details in Metamask.
3. Go to https://anyswap.exchange/ to claim your Anyswap (ANY) coin.
4. Go to https://bsc.anyswap.exchange/ to claim ANY-BEP2 on Binance Smart Chain.

That's it!

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / DeFi Safety - here you check DeFi projects and their smart contracts audits. on: September 05, 2020, 03:53:45 PM
DeFi has taken the crypto market by storm, new protocols are popping up like crazy and already many people have a problem to even track them.

Don't mention the safety of these smart contracts, nobody knows for sure if they were audited and creators are even hiding the facts about audits or their outcomes.

If you are buying, then for sure you want to be safe as possible and here comes DeFi Safety website with help.

DeFi Safety - is a new website which gives ratings on DeFi projects audits, smart contracts quality and safety.

https://defisafety.com/

Quote
DeFi asks us to trust smart contracts, rather than companies, governments or individuals. They ask you to trust the code. DeFi Safety checks the code, how it was developed, tested and score the results.
Quote
We review the public documents, software repository, website and other documentation and ask the following questions. The answers are documented and a score determined using a set scoring matrix.

And here are the actual audits of all already known and new DeFi projects (smart contracts):

https://defisafety.com/

When we click on the audit we are interested in, we will get detailed information, which looks like this:

https://defisafety.com/aave-protocol-audit-results/

As we can see Aave has a pretty high audit score, we can click further and see all information about every component of the audit:

https://docs.defisafety.com/finished-audits/aave-process-quality-audit#deployed-code

I hope that DeFi Safety will help you at least make better decisions when investing in this insane HYPED DeFi projects.

Stay safe and never invest more then you can afford to lose. Peace.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / TxStreet.com - live cryptocurrency transaction visualizer. on: August 13, 2020, 04:45:39 PM
I want to share this great tool with you, I think it is worth a look because is pretty original and shows BTC, ETH, BCH transactions flow in a very special way.

https://txstreet.com/

Quote
TxStreet.com is a live cryptocurrency transaction visualizer featuring Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash. When a new transaction is broadcasted to a cryptocurrency, a person appears and attempts to board a bus. If the transaction has a high enough fee, they will board the first bus and be ready to be included in the next mined block. If there are too many transactions to be included in the next block, and the transaction didn't pay a high enough fee, the person will either wait in line or board a different bus. Consecutive buses will appear when there are enough transactions to fill them.

https://txstreet.com/v/eth-btc

I don't want to tell too much, just open this website and check by yourself, I like it very much, especially, the ability to see the biggest players in the networks.

We can literally see in real-time from which exchanges, pools, DEXs, etc. transactions are coming, exact fee price, count, time and so much more.

I hope you will enjoy it just like I have.
33  Other / Off-topic / WATCH OUT - TikTok app is a SPYWARE!!! on: July 06, 2020, 10:22:34 AM
I have seen many posts in which members are selling or searching for accounts, likes, etc. for TikTok, so I thought it will be wise to warn the forum about this SPYWARE.

Quote
CNN reports US lawmakers on both sides of the aisle warn that the app could pose a national security risk, and are calling on regulators and intelligence agencies to investigate TikTok’s ties to China.
https://blog.zimperium.com/zimperium-analyzes-tiktoks-security-and-privacy-risks/

India already banned TikTok and urged users to delete the app immediately.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2020/07/04/tiktok-loses-6-billion-as-users-urged-delete-app-immediately/#34a04d7e1c98

Of course, now everybody wonders what is so worrying about the TokTok app that it becomes banned and even called national security?

Here are the reasons:

Here a video from YouTube showing - TikTok app in action spying on user device.

https://youtu.be/l_fVbuXLaAA

The origins of TikTok suggest that the Chinese government is involved and this is the best way for them to be the next Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube in one.

TikTok CEO, Kevin Mayer, denied that the app was spying on their users and assured the Indian government:
Quote
I can confirm that the Chinese government has never made a request to us for the TikTok data of Indian users
https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2020/07/04/tiktok-loses-6-billion-as-users-urged-delete-app-immediately/#1ff606be1c98

Of course, the Chinese government has never made such a request because for sure they have the keys to TikTok kingdom, there is just no other way to build such an application in China, without the government's full involvement and control. Just like Facebook and they are from the USA  Wink Cheesy.

So, I'll leave the assessment to you. For me, it is really scary that they can do literally anything with your device and I definitely recommend removing TikTok ASAP!!!

37  Other / Archival / Let's talk Texas Holdem poker hands and how to play like a PRO? on: April 30, 2020, 01:16:49 PM
I haven't seen a thread in this section with a discussion about poker hands played in various Texas Holdem games by our members.

Few times I wanted to share a tricky hand to discuss the in and outs of poker, with fellow poker players from around the world, but to my surprise, there was no thread for this, at least an active one.

Additionally, yesterday I saw a few hands shared in the WO thread and thought that this is the right time to start a thread where anybody would be able to share poker hands and discuss them.

Let's make a few rules:

1. Only Texas Holdem hands, but feel free to talk about poker (texas holdem), as a whole too, strategies, etc. This has not to be a hand per se.
2. No spamming or off-topics not related to poker, let's focus on hands.
3. The best hands will be added to the opening post.

like I said, I have seen a great hand in the WO thread yesterday shared by @BitcoinGirl.Club, so maybe let's start from this one.

HAND NR.1

How fucked you will feel after this?

The guy had QQ and I had KK33 two pairs in the flop! I knew there is a little chance to have a flash in the flop since there are three diamonds already but how the fuck is going to know that the other guy was just relaying on QQ and called my big bet! Even in the trun I was still in the game and placed bet again. He called again. Still he was relying on only QQ but in the river he got fucking luck and I am out!!!

Fucking luck never been with me in this gambling game...

Pre flop
Seeing K3 I gone with my regular bet amount I think I called BB

Flop
Since I have now KK33 I gone with higher amount, I think half of the chips I had in the table. Two pairs with K so you do not doubt much of course. But the other guy called!

The Turn
Since the other guy called I was thinking may be he had a flash but I have already invested a lot of chips and god damn it, it's KK33. I had other thought in mind that the guy is bluffing since he has almost double chips on board than me so he can have the luxury. The only way to test it is to bet an unusual amount and give him a shock. So I gone ALL IN!

But I got shocked when he called that too. And I was feeling fucked as well. I was just hoping the best for me.

River
When I saw diamond then I was pretty sure that the guy had a flash now if he had not in the first three card from Flop. But still I was hoping the best for me.

And finally when the card showed I felt fucked up! The guy was just taking chance with his QQ and got lucky. He was not in the game before River round. Bluffed with calling my ALL IN and he won!

Fucked!!!

38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can BTC really be a safe haven? on: April 23, 2020, 01:24:06 PM
To answer the question: can BTC really be a safe haven? we'll have to find out what is the main problem that keeps it far away from being one?

In my opinion, this is VOLATILITY. So what forces BTC to make such large price movements?

It turns out that the biggest problem is the extreme leverage on cryptocurrency markets, which is offered by unregulated offshore exchanges.

BTC is highly concentrated and data show that almost 95% of BTC resources belong to a relatively small number of addresses. Such conditions give the market a 'kick' and increase greed.
At the same time, many traders who are using highly leveraged trading platforms have a very high-risk appetite and not always the skills needed to play with 100 or 200X leveraged trades.

BTC                ADDRESSES      %                 COINS                 USD              %COINS

https://bithub.pl/wiadomosci/bitcoin-na-lasce-algorytmow-dlaczego-btc-i-safe-haven-to-na-razie-zwykla-mrzonka/

Most exchanges that offer trading with very high leverage were not designed to handle not only the large-scale volumes in times of heavy market congestion but also the network traffic itself.
The problem of overloading exchange servers has become very common in the last two years. It is ironic that such things happen, of course, at times when markets tend to increase their trading volume drastically. This is a big problem, as we have seen lately, because it makes it difficult for traders to reduce their exposure, when such an event occurs, leaving them at the mercy of aggressive liquidation algorithms.

We have to remember that regulated exchanges only offer around 3 times leverage.

Crypto exchange insurance funds act both as an external picture of the exchange's success, but also as a measure of how aggressive and harmful their liquidation algorithms are for the traders.
This is because on almost every crypto exchange the insurance fund is capitalized from the liquidations of traders' positions.

100x leverage and higher 200X is attractive (at least at first glance) for a trader who wants to maximize profits with a minimum contribution of his own capital, but it causes this insane BTC price volatility, which prevents the profitable use of such high leverage. If the plug by Bitmex would not be pulled out on time a few weeks ago, BTC price would fell to 0$.
How could this happen? Isn't this still too early for such high leverage 100 or 200X in the crypto market?
https://hacked.com/bitcoins-price-recovery-stalls-as-bitmex-shuts-down-u-s-accounts/

In my opinion, only because of this Bitmex incident it would be wise to limit the widely available throughout the ecosystem high leverage to stop this absurd volatility and give a chance to BTC to be this safe haven finally!!!

Quote
Until the crypto exchanges attempt to solve this problem, bitcoin will not free itself from the framework of being a spinning toy towards a resource of true interest for traditional market players.

39  Other / Archival / Legaal online poker spelen vanuit Nederland, is dit zelfs mogelijk? on: April 03, 2020, 10:24:13 AM

40  Other / Archival / How to play online poker legally from the Netherlands, is this even possible? on: April 03, 2020, 10:21:40 AM
I have a lot of time during this pandemic and the Netherlands as many other countries is closed, so I thought it will be a great time to start playing poker (tournaments, sit and goes, freerolls) again, but to my surprise, all my accounts (which I have registered years ago) by Party Poker, Winamax, 888, Americas Cardroom and many other poker rooms are not active anymore and I can't play there because Netherland is one of the restricted countries.

I had a few years break from online poker but I didn't know that the situation is so bad in the Netherlands? Is this still possible to play poker online with my real IP? Where if yes?

I hope there are at least a few players from the Netherlands on this forum and they will be so kind to help me.

P.S
I know that I could use a VPN or proxy server to hide my real IP but what with the verification? Is there any way to pass positively the proof of address?
