1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Flicker Network deleted my post in their self-moderated thread on: April 15, 2018, 10:27:29 PM
Just wanted to let you know that the following post by me was deleted in the Flicker Network thread:

Quote
Flickernetwork, what is your connection/relationship with the user Jinajon?

Do not get me wrong, I am not running around with tin foils on my head, but especially when it comes to possible scams I tend to get a grasp on who is following the project, since when those persons are promoting the coin etc.

And Jinajon seems kind of off.

All his accounts, no matter whether it is on Reddit, Bitcointalk or Twitter were created in February/March this year. His correspondence seems to be about Flickernetwork only. Even though he began posting (and retweeting) Flickernetwork on Twitter since mid of February, he appeared here in March with a "surprised" post stating "Speed, privacy, and equitable ownership - and it's free?  "If it sounds to good to be true; it is" may not be accurate in this case though!  Very keen to see how this project develops.". I think all of this is orchestrated by one single person, making nice money with the token sale.

These doubts are result from the fact, that until now, you did not prove that you have a single line of code. "It's free anyway" arguments are not valid at this point as you make good profits via your "token sale".

This and many other aspects make me think that this is SCAM and I recommend to everyone not to invest in the token sale as your money may be lost forever. Please keep in mind that promoting this project for bounties (which you may never receive anyway) makes you a supporter of this scam

This intensifies my doubt on Flicker Network and I recommend not to invest in it!! Spread the word if you think so, too!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / I have no clue whether XBY is the future of crypto or the most professional scam on: February 12, 2018, 10:40:19 AM
For the last 2 days straight I researched XTRABYTES (XBY) throughout all possible information sources and I cannot make up my mind whether it is the most amazing thing ever happened to crypto or the by far most professional scam.

Many people say there is no proof it is a scam, however, I do not find any proof it really exists at all neither. All I see are nice animations of a potential UI, but I saw the same with the scam Moirai ICO.

Fans just say how great they think it is that the team is too humble to participate in big exchange votings because they want to grow organically (maybe they are just scared what would happen if a big exchange lists them?).

I guess the main problem in that matter is trust. After so many articles about red flags and equally many articles praising XBY, I do not know anymore whether the defense articles are genuine reports who want to mitigate fud or just shilling investors who want to rip off smaller investors.

What do you think about XBY and did you find any (somewhat) objective posts on that matter?

Thanks

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will the BTC bubble burst; or is it even an altcoin bubble? on: December 28, 2017, 05:09:08 PM
Hello there,

do you think Bitcoin is a bubble and if yes, will it burst soon? The technical disadvantages of BTC are grave and only disadvantageous for the whole altcoin market .. but if Bitcoin plumps, will altcoins, too?

During the last weeks the BTC dominance of the market decreased steadily and also the media and investors now know the advantages of many altcoins (esp. in the top 20).

Will the belief in altcoin advantages prevent the bubble from bursting? Or will everything go down when BTC decreases?

What do you think?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / What will happen if Bitcoin Gold (BTG) goes live? on: November 12, 2017, 07:57:41 AM
Hello everybody,

what do you think will happen with BTG the next days and the next weeks to come? Will it get dumped by people wanting to get rid of it and invest the profits in another altcoin (BCH?). Or are there people actually wanting to buy BTG and believing in it?

Thank you for your opinion

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Eidoo trolls JPMorgan CEO in Wall Street Journal on: October 11, 2017, 10:49:07 AM
Kudos for Eidoo for pulling this little stunt:

A cryptocurrency start-up took out a full page ad in the Wall Street Journal to troll Jamie Dimon's views on bitcoin

A cryptocurrency start-up has taken out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal to take a dig at JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, who recently called bitcoin a "fraud".

Switzerland-based start-up Eidoo launched Wednesday and bills itself as a digital wallet for people to hold ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. It has plans to launch a debit card to spend both ethereum and bitcoin as well as an exchange to trade both.

The WSJ ad, which is a clear public relations stunt as the company launches, reads: "Maybe Jamie will fire you. But, you'll be free to trade in the crypto-world."

Eidoo is taking aim at Dimon's comments on bitcoin in which he called it a "fraud" and said that he'd "fire in a second" any JPMorgan trader who was trading bitcoin because "it's against our rules and they are stupid."

...

I think that more and more crypto companies have to stand up to show the advantages of blockchain technologies. What do you think? What can we do?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Etherisc on: September 30, 2017, 05:40:33 AM
Did somebody of you hear about Etherisc?

Apparently, it was a very successful start up during that hack.ether marathon in 2016 (which also pushed CoinDash).

I stumbled upon their website ( https://etherisc.com/#hero ) and communication channel on gitter ( gitter.im/etherisc ). I think it looks quite interesting as some of those RSC (I guess pre-sales tokens) are tradeable on HitBTC or EtherDelta.

How is your impression? Could it be a good opportunity to get in even before ICO?

Thanks!!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Most Successful ICOs? on: August 10, 2017, 09:35:32 AM

is it possible to buy BTC cheaply at one exchange and sell it more expensive at another one? It seems to me that it might be actually possible.

What are challenges? Are people doing this?

17  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Wo Bitcoins kaufen / Jemand Erfahrung mit BTCDirect? on: August 04, 2014, 11:42:15 PM
Hallo allerseits Smiley
