I am not sure how many of you have noticed this, but I have seen many threads created by newbies and Jr.Members for a while with innovative ways to shill the name Bitget, which is a relatively new exchange. Tried reporting them but they are not violating any forum rules so they get away with it but it's obvious that they are shilling the name of their exchange instead of doing it in the authentic form of advertising here. Some of their threads: Crypto Exchange tokens or Crypto Wallet Tokens?? by Altcoiner007Choosing the best cryptocurrency to buy often requires a comprehensive approach, considering factors like market cap, liquidity, fundamentals, community, ecosystem growth, etc. I just got into a fix trying to figure out the smartest pick for my portfolio whether to go with an exchange token or a crypto wallet native token. I know in theory, a crypto wallet is often considered better than an exchange in terms of security because it gives one complete control over their private keys and funds while exchanges are more convenient for trading. However, they offer greater risk because they control one's keys when their assets are on the platform. Following the recent BWB Airdrop, and the anticipated launchpad on Bitget which is the platform's first launchpad of 2024, would you consider investing in the wallet token or opt for BGB, the exchange token itself which is becoming more established? See details: https://cryptopotato.com/bitget-wallet-token-bwb-makes-debut-on-the-bitget-launchpad/I would be glad to read your opinion on these. There's Something About This New Crop of CEOs... by Joseph-PIt's been a while since Binance got a new CEO thanks to CZ's departure. I came across a tweet talking about how Binance's online presence hasn't been the same ever since. The tweet talked about the importance of a charismatic Head for any company. Unlike CZ, Mr Teng doesn't seem to have that same type of commanding charisma online. Of course this doesn't affect Binance's order books that much, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it means a lot that folks don't get that same type of vibe anymore.
It's easy to see why Bitget chose to promote Gracy Chen to CEO today or why guys Justin Sun still remain the faces of several top companies. These people are actually quite outspoken online, and know just how to keep users excited about any new innovations in their respective companies. If anything, I guess this instance teaches us about the importance of having an exciting face as the representative of any company.
Don't You Think the Power of Flexible Savings Counts? by VicMantonI've been exploring different ways to earn more from my crypto holdings especially in a volatile market, and flexible savings have been a great option. I’ve checked out several exchanges like Binance, Okex, and Bybit. For instance, Binance offers a 3.65% yield on USDT and 0.74% on ETH, which is decent but not the highest. Okex has a 3% yield on USDT and 1% on ETH, which is also solid but similar to traditional savings in some ways. Bybit's rates are lower, with 1.51% on USDT and 1.19% on ETH, which makes me think there are better opportunities out there.
So I expanded my research and discovered the apy on Bitget PoolX is 18.97% for USDT & 28.61% on ETH. The highest I've seen during this study. Maybe I'll expand my search. If you're holding ETH, I believe this is a way to grow assets without getting caught up in the day-to-day market fluctuations.
While I still use Binance and Okex for different reasons, I still believe that this means of increasing one's holdings can go a long way, because if one saves up $100K he would be getting $2K monthly and that's enough than risking to lose everything to high leverages, how do you see this to count for traders and enthusiasts?
Is trading on CEX still worth it? by Crypto_PotatoThese days I buy most of my tokens especially altcoins on decentralised wallets like Jupiter or metamask and I only trade on CEXs when they list tokens I already own and I send my tokens there
The only time I buy tokens on CEXs with my credit card is when exchanges have zero fees events or events like a rebate on a deposit you make like the one Bitget currently have and other CEXs like Binance, kucoin etc.
Do you guys think CEXs are still worth it? Let me hear your thoughts
Many more can be added here...

One more thread to make people to realize the significance of HODLing with bitcoin and as the picture says whoever bought bitcoin with their stimulus check will have over $12K in their portfolio value which is around 900% growth in a cycle we still have time to accumulate bitcoins instead of regretting the missed opportunities. Anyone bought bitcoin with their stimulus instead of groceries?

Have you ever thought about this, what we are trying to achieve in our personal financial life is completely diverge from what the government expects their citizens to do. We as Individuals always thrive to achieve financial independence in our lives especially someone who is from the average middle person but what the government expects from the middle class is different and is kind of surprising when we give deep thought about it, The Government highly relies on the middle-class tax payers for the money and most of the taxes collected in the form of indirect taxes so that people may not actually aware that they are paying taxes for everything from their salary, fuel, medicine, anything everything has taxes that eat most our earnings. So as a result we are paying from 10% to over 50% of our earnings just in the form of taxes in one or another way. So one who really wants to achieve financial independence should find a way to reduce their tax pay legally like how the businessmen do. Or like the bald guy says, we need to find a way to exit the Matrix.

Edit: Now the slots are visible sand available for humans to use. If you want then make use of it.
If you have tried using viabtc accelerator to accelerate your transaction via 100 free quota per hour then it is close to impossible for the past couple of days. So I thought they stopped offering free TX acceleration at first but I couldn't find anywhere that they stopped offering free TX acceleration.
That led me to think what if someone built a bot to abuse their service? or what else it could be?
That is why no one can see the numbers at the refreshing time and it always says the limit is exceeded, and also I would like to know if anyone successfully submitted it in the last two days.

We have a tool [Script] Imgur to TalkImg - automatically fix your broken images created by TryNinja, which will fix our old invalid images uploaded via Imgur hosting site on bitcointalk. I am wondering if there is any possible way to fix broken images in other people's posts. I'm asking this because quite often, I come across many guides that were created years ago, and they now have broken images. These guides contain valuable details, and if I want to recommend one to a newbie seeking help, having the pictorial details is crucial for them to understand the complete content of the guide. I've had this thought for a while, and I'm sharing it now as it might provide a possible solution for posting guides created by others, with all the images.

Paxful closed its service in April probably due to an internal dispute between founders but after a month they came online with new CEO, I haven't used their service since April so I would like to hear opinions about anyone who used the Paxful platform cause I want to know is it just same as before? I know it is a KYCed p2p platform so no need for anyone to suggest about no KYC P2P alternatives like Bisq cause I want to make sure everything is okay before resuming my day trading activities on that Paxful.

Sorry for another topic about the recent issue going related to bitcoin network congestion but I really want to know that Bitcoin ordinals so called NFTs is really going to change the fee required for the transaction in the future?
Because I didn't witness such kind of clog since 2017 but by that time there is no segwit, exchanges are clogging the network purposely and so on but later for so many years the fee issue isn't really there but all of a sudden we have to pay over 100 sats for over transaction to get into the block may create a bad image and it will create the FUD and may initiate the price drop.

We all know ethereum merge of PoW to PoS happened recently which reduced the transaction fee a lot but it become more centralized than before so what is going to be the future of ethereum?
Today I saw some blogs related to this so just curious about what bitcointalk community thinks about this merge, the major stake holders of ethereum becomes centralized exchanges which all consists of 64% and all the centralized exchanges are regulated and can be controlled by government so in future if governments make changes in their regulation policies which can affect the ethereum so what will be the future plan of ethereum holders? It can be trusted and still it is good for investment?

Just asking out of curiosity! I never sent any dust amount from my wallet. Last night I was helping a friend to install a new bitcoin wallet from electrum before he was using a shit web wallet and successfully installed it on Android but I thought it would be better to teach him about how to make transaction from the electrum wallet. So I tried to sent 300sats to his address which is segwit and mine too but the electrum keep giving me a warning that dust amount can't be broadtcast or something like that. But the minimum value of bitcoin is 1 sat then we can able to transact it right but why not possible on such case? Issue with electrum or applies to every wallet!

Sorry for another topic about merit guys! But I wanted to tell this to everyone, especially to newbies. A high number of merits earned by an individual is a sign that he is a quality poster but it doesn't mean every less earned member is not knowledgeable enough. Earning merits depends on a lot of factors like which section we would like to post/discuss and which local board we belong to. So some members can earn more if their board and section have high active members and merit sources. Actually what I wanted to tell is, if you are not making enough merits even after you are giving your maximum effort doesn't mean that you are not deserved to be on bitcointalk at someday you will get caught by the merits sources until that keep posting and learn new things which you are being yourself.

If Findingnemo could rank up then why you can't rank up. I'm just a noob in cryptos technical aspects. When the merit system was introduced I was a member ranked forum member who lacking much intensive knowledge about cryptocurrencies. But later I realized that you no need to be a pro to rank up, all you need to be someone who can contribute somewhat to the discussions happening on threads. Just my tips for anyone to get away themselves from being called as a spammer: - Don't post if you don't have anything to say: Most people are doing this mistake when they enter into a discussion, they simply post some sentences in general, to get their post count to be increased but if you have this habit then you could never rank up.
- Don't be lazy to read: Did you ever heard that intelligent people are good listeners? So get your knowledge increase by reading more and more contents as much as you can, more knowledge you gather the more chance to make a better suggestion while enters into a discussion
- Get yourself into a discussion: If you are creating a thread or replying to a thread keep watching the thread for further replies for your post and keep the discussion get going until the solution to be found.
- English is important: Yes, if you want to interact with someone on the internet you need to have basic writing and understanding skills of English or you never know what is happening in a thread and you will be stuck there forever.
- Be yourself: Just concentrate on improving your knowledge with the things you are good at, like if you are a trader then read more things about trading strategies and how to tackle the different market condition of crypto then teach others the things you learned. You can't post something good and informative if you never give an effort towards it.
- Avoid posting on Spam mega threads: even if you post some good post on 113th post chances of anyone would read will be less, so you can't expect to get merit for that good post.
- Avoid posting wall of text: If you want to say something which takes bit more characters to express then cut down the characters into multiple lines or paragraphs because if we see something which is really long to read, most of the people will simply skip. We are lazy in this modern world.
Misc tip: You can use Grammarly extension to correct your mistakes while writing a post like spelling mistakes, simple grammatical mistakes, punctuation marks.
Suggestions from other forum members are welcomed. Suggestions and tips from other fellas. Your posts are better if they have these criteria :
1. Useful. It helps others or has value.
2. You write them with a correct grammatical function.
3. They are written in proper punctuation.
4. On topic. They must be always related to topics.
5. Unique. Must be different than others.
6. No copy-paste/plagiarism.
7. Easy to understand.
One extra quality would be: find a niche for yourself. Pick a section, grow your knowledge in it and you can become renowned in that field.

I guess everyone knows that what is cursor means which is the term used for mouse pointer and text blinking bar on a computer.Today I found that my mouse cursor moving on itself from one point to another,I noticed this happens for the recent days.I thought it could be accidental touch on the mousepad on my notebook but I visually saw that today the mouse cursor moving itself without any touch from myself and this also happens with 'caret' the text blinking bar which misplaces while I am typing something (even now).
I would like to know how to fix this and what could be the reason for this?

This thing is in my mind for very long time now I decided to share with other forum members. I can see lot of threads and guides for the newbie and other forum members says about " How to get merits",but is that necessary to chase merits? I never wanted to run behind merits because for me its like I am changing my attitude and posting behaviour to get something in return.Just be yourself and learn more about cryptos, why we wanted it and of course how to make money using cryptos.Help fellow forum members in the way you can,if you got recognized then merits will follow you up. Ignore this topic if you didn't learn anything from this topic,I just wanted to say how I feels about getting merit.
