2  Economy / Service Discussion / aBitSky.com - have anyone tried? on: September 07, 2017, 01:39:03 AM
Hi,

I just bought a flight ticket through aBitSky.com but the more I search about this site the more it seems to me like a f* scam.

I called them and some guy (who had very poor english) answered the call, he knew about my order and everything but kept saying he couldn't see my transaction. At that time the TX had already over 7 confirmations. They're also not responding to my emails and even to contact form on their page.

https://blockchain.info/tx/5a2873e3a3079768b4b39b9850400684ba93ff17b5962a92eca7c4d01b80ffe9

I think I've done a stupid mistake.

Will inform you later on how this turns out.

Hello,

we are a team of European programmers with a lot of experience with crypto.

We are the creators of well-known Coin- scripts (CoinWheel, CoinDice, CoinJack, CoinSlots).

Some of you may remeber our other products, Cointoli.com marketplace or Betbase.io (the casino platform) which we sold to MoneyPot in January 2017.

As we currently have no project of our own, we offer our services to anyone who wish his ideas to become reality.

Don't hesitate to PM me for more information.

Thank you,
Johny

Current status: Available; Awaiting inquiries (since 7/14/2018)

6  Economy / Auctions / Betbase.io is for sale on: April 15, 2017, 10:50:53 AM
Hello Bitcointalk,

some of you may already know us, we're the guys behind the Coin* scripts (CoinSlots, CoinJack, CoinDice).

Maybe you also noticed that we're no longer active (business speaking) on this forum. We have our reasons for it (we can explain if interested). So now we're about to sell our former flagship, the project we've spent hundreds of hours developing and making the idea possible.

The subject of this auction is: https://betbase.io

What is Betbase?

Betbase is professional Bitcoin gambling platform. Casino owners can use our API so they don't have to deal with their own bankroll, provably fair mechanisms and handling money of their players. Everything is securely handled by Betbase. For more information, visit the home page and watch the video.

It can be said Betbase is very similar to Moneypot with some improvements that Moneypot doesn't have.

The site is written in Node.js (with MySQL database), the whole code is very well secured, we've been through several udependent security audits. We're hosted in Amazon and the Cloudflare protection is used. We have our own email system. The database server is separated.

Profitability?

We tried to do some marketing right after the project was launched. But we could not actively run the project anymore so we haven't touch it for several months now. Despite of that, the number of bets and casinos started is increasing. We've made exactly 0.13259661 during that time and we didn't even know it. We found out yesterday when preparing to sale.

Some of our clients are a bit angry (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1690095.60) because their withdrawals wasn't processed manualy (as I say, we really didn't touch the project for few months), but is should be no big deal for the new owner to show them that he cares more than us.

Everything in the system is fully automatic except for withdrawals, which are automatic only if certain checks are passed (the user made a deposit, the amount is not bigger than X, etc.), otherwise it's sent to administration for approval.

There's a very basic administration, the only thing there is the list of pending withdrawals and actions.

For more information please ask us directly in this thread. We would be very happy if the project would continue in good hands, we've spent really a lot of time on this.

Starting bid:
1 BTC

We reserve the right to end or cancel the auction at any time.
We'll inform you 1 day before the end of the auction. It probably won't take more than 1 week.

Thank you all,
Johny

Hello guys,
I wonder what is in your opinion the best way to issue tokens representing shares of particular company on blockchain.
Would you use standalone coin, use established blockchain? What platform would you use for it?

Thanks

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to identify altcoin worth investing in? on: July 03, 2016, 07:17:06 PM
I wonder guys, how do you determine if the altcoin is worth investing in?

It has two parts.
What do you regularly check to find out about new altcoins?
How do you decide if it's worth investing in?

Well and next - how do you keep track of all changes in already established altcoins?

Really interested to read your thoughts. Smiley

17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Btcbump - bump your thread | Price updated on: May 16, 2016, 10:46:31 PM
Hi,

tired of not having your thread on the top of the category? Tired of bumping your own thread?
Let's do something about it!

Meet BtcBump - we'll bump your thread at a given time every day - TO THE TOP!

How does it work?
Register -> enter bump bitcointalk account -> specify thread -> write down bumping text -> set bumping time -> deposit funds

How much does it cost?

1 bump costs 0.0001 BTC
If you deposit 0.1 BTC, we'll be bumping your thread every day for 1000 days

Is it legal?
You can use one bump per day.

General bumping guideline: No more than one bump per day per topic, and no more than ~1.25 bumps per day across all of a user's topics on average. "Bumps" are mostly or entirely useless replies, not replies that actually contain useful info.

Update
We're lowering price for each bump to 0.0001 BTC

GL with your threads!

Johny & team
