Because when something happens and people start to withdraw their investments, the time needed for a bankroll to grow multiplies like 4 times, like recently happened to Moneypot. The Kelly criterion should not be applied to a bankroll which is not stable (that means people can add funds and withdraw them whenever they want).

I think more like it's harder / more difficult for users to apply the kelly criterion to a constantly evolving bankroll? E.g. there wouldn't be any nice round max-win like there is for BustaBit?

I badly expressed myself. Kelly criterion should be applied every time. I just wanted to tell that it's hard to grow if your investors withdraw every time bankroll takes a hit.
