1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ergonomics 101 - The Manifesto on: May 22, 2021, 07:29:01 AM
Most of us got involved with crypto cause of its awesome dynamics of providing value through decentralized platforms and innovation, some of us stalled and became fixated on getting rich when we discovered this is the future, I cannot promise you will get rich with Ergo, I can promise that Ergo is focused on decentralization and has the same vision Satoshi pushed well over a decade ago.

Read the Ergo Manifesto:

https://ergoplatform.org/en/blog/2021-04-26-the-ergo-manifesto/

And then take as much control of the protocol as you are able to, this is the way.

Check it out and sign and share everyone.

Let me know if I should make some changes to it too, I can go back and edit it.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cardano (ADA) taking new steps in positioning as 3rd Gen Crypto Platform on: October 12, 2018, 09:52:55 PM
Today Cardano has seen new developments with an uprising coming from its community to unseat the Cardano Foundation Chairman Michael Parson's.

A group of loyal community members formed "The Guardians of Cardano" and exposed an open letter through a website of theirs https://www.guardiansofcardano.com/ that is host to the open letter and also a petition for other member's of the community to sign that also wish to see Parsons removed from the Cardano Foundation.

Coincidentally IOHK the developer of the Cardano mainnet also released a shaming rebuke to the foundation today and posted it to the IOHK blog  https://iohk.io/blog/

This all comes at a time when Shelley is on the horizon and developers have been hard at work to develop new wallets and are becoming familiar with the remarkable code available to build smart contracts on the Cardano platform which is globally recognized as being a part of the group of 3rd Generation Blockchains.

A person could draw their own conclusion from this event, yet one thing is apparent, Cardano will not have a centralized foundation, the developers and the community will not change their path toward decentralization, and the vision of Satoshi will be embraced and protected in the Cardano Platform.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / HitBTC trading INGIS and it's above .01 ETH? ($11) 1-4-18 on: January 05, 2018, 04:29:11 AM

Really low volume but come on, someone is making a couple bucks off of a couple IGNIS while others are losing on AEX at $1.43

Hey Everyone,

Here is a list of 20 crypto's I just spent $50 apiece on for a noob traders experiment and a little New Years fun,

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Iffff BTC Foundation Members move to Bitcoincash - - Crypto Fails?? on: December 31, 2017, 05:27:37 AM
So all the early adopter's have been a little quiet while the adopters after 2013 and the investors of 2014 are a bit loud and the crap going around is BTC is selling out to a new blockchain? Or I should say in the alt arena the rumors are spreading that bitcoincash is where it's at???

No matter what you have made in in your time and investment the time is now to support BTC if ever there was a time to put your voice behind cryptocurrency, now your on the world stage...... You have the mic, there is not a damn thing wrong with BTC and you and I know it, people need to hear the founders and the early supporter's speaking out, they need to meet the persons behind the crypto movement, choose any damn crypto movement and get involved or just somehow show your early adoption - meet people that are crazy about crypto, let them know why you got involved, the time is now for people to truly understand why we have spent the time to develop what crypto is meant to do.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ardor headed to .0004 and IGNIS headed to .005 and I Can,t Buy More Now?? on: December 30, 2017, 03:34:40 AM

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why are NXT tokens trading like futures for 3X the price of NXT???? on: December 26, 2017, 01:00:35 AM
Why is it that NXT tokens that have not even begun to trade are trading at 3X the price of NXT itself???

Could you imagine your favorite NEO or ETH token trading at 3X the price of the coin??

Crazy times in crypto, welcome to NXT where there are no boundaries I guess

Lets hope the pump king's Max and his buddy McAfee don't touch on IGNIS, it could trade at 3X with no media involvment.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Deep Onion -Should I trade 3 ltc on cryptopia for it, Tor network real? on: December 24, 2017, 04:02:07 AM
SO I opened a cryptopia trade account with 3 litecoin, would deep onion be a good investment or is there better options on Cryptopia? I personally like the idea of a Coin being solely traded on TOR networks but is Deep Onion the answer for anonymity?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Is a co'op A good idea or a Fail? My investment at stake on: December 23, 2017, 08:39:54 PM
Working on a co'op design that would use a coin or token incorporated into the co'op items distribution plan as an incentive to buy the co'op products, any thoughts or suggestions? (Maybe some FUD?  Wink)

This co'op would probably initially launch in U.S first for logistical shipping and networking reason's as this is the place that I am capable of bringing such a co'op together (with my language barriers in place), then once the grass roots became solid shoots = expansion will be possible to other area's of the globe, unless solid figures in other area's with enough time to be involved were to dedicate themselves to the co'op and they can easily communicate in English to establish a fair distribution amongst their community outside of the U.S. that would be in line with the distribution among the U.S community

The co'op would have a limited amount of coins/tokens to be distributed upon launch and so the co'op will at some point adopt a new coin/token or fork to continue or the co'op would come to an end (not really the option to go for) guidelines will initially be set by interested parties before launch and then the next changes would be by vote initiated by ranking members that would gain rank by vote upon launch and monthly afterward.

I am willing to provide initial investment for startup of the co'op and so will be deciding the first product the co'op will have access to through the privilege of being a member (when dealing with the consumable markets fiat is involved), I have a product in mind but would like to see if there are idea's out there that others would be interested in.

A co'op has buying power through buying in large volume at wholesale pricing - coin/token distribution will be distributed by setting a retail price for the product and issuing the member of the co'op the difference between the wholesale pricing and retail pricing of the product they chose to buy.

A coin would need mining power and a token could run on a network that is already established.

Any feedback on this venture would be great.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / All you Noobs buying coins while Miners are getting rich- LOL! on: December 23, 2017, 03:16:14 AM
The best investment in crypto right now is arguably in the hardware to mine it, sooo many new users coming to the scene and hardly any new miners, the coin someone might choose to invest in could choke because hardcore miners choose to mine different coins than the Noobs are investing in which would make the coin the Noobs (you) hold appear as if it is failing (like BTC ETH maybe NEO and other alts).
If you were going to invest - let's say 100,000 EUR in crypto and the miners of such coin pulled out cause they did not think they could bring in a profit and the 10 minutes that your coin you invested in spiked and you could not process your trade transaction's to make a profit than I think you could surely blame it on the lack of miners.

Miners are very very important to Crypto, and the most of them make good money mining the coins you trade, maybe it's time for you to make some good money as a miner huh?Huh?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / App or site that shows current transaction time and cost? URGENT NEED! on: December 23, 2017, 02:54:50 AM
What App or site can show top coins current transaction time and cost??

If there is not one I imagine that such a site or app could make a killing right now as new traders attempt to engage in arbitrage.

let me know, its something I want to use.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What is the Scrypt mining rig on your wishlist for X-Mas? on: December 18, 2017, 02:11:29 AM
I am thinking I might pull some alt profits and buy a standalone rig that i could receive by Valentines day, what is your favorite setup?

After reviewing coinwars and noticing that hashrates were not very high I decided I better support the community that hashes my transactions.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 12-17-17 Crypto Market cap up 362,937,263,332 In just 1 month ((362 Billion)) on: December 17, 2017, 10:15:51 PM
So next time you ask "why is this coin or another skyrocketing in price" just look at total crypto currency market capitalizations at coinmarketcap.com

At the time of writing it is at 592,329,901,961

With so much money flowing into Crypto Currency prices are going to keep going up, trade volumes are going up everyday, if you are saving some of your fiat money for a rainy day and not throwing it into your favorite coin its possible you are going to kick yourself later.

What do you think the Market cap will be 1 month from now?

I bet it will triple or quadruple with so many people that are starting to invest right now.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Does anyone know how to restore an old Blockchain? 2014 Devs have any idea's??? on: December 14, 2017, 03:56:35 AM
Looking for someone that can restart a blockchain that went offline in 2014, is it possible to restart the qt and maintain all of the ledger records? Also... it would need to be able to not only restart but also restart and allow anybody with the original qt to update their old wallet and come online like nothing ever happened, anyone out there with the skills to do this? Google does not really have a good answer to my question..
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Haha! I think Litecoin is in the Process of breaking Bittrex, LOL on: December 12, 2017, 03:07:15 AM
As Litecoin start's to get the biggest pump its ever seen, I think bittrex among other popular sites are getting more traffic than planned for, it is kind of cool to watch how high it can get - I shouldve bought at 7 cents and held dang it, now Im buying the other 7 centers (well 1 of em).
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / In Need of some Developer help - maybe community crypto legal advice - ACT - on: December 10, 2017, 05:22:59 AM
Ok so I have a question for those that are in the know on how our community should deal with Coin vs Coin.

The issue is complicated but here is a brief incomplete summary.

In early 2014 I decided to start a coin to get more people interested in crypto coins.
In 2014 I launched ACT - it was designed to target people that lived active lives to get them interested in crypto and the goal for the coin was for it to be used for buying recreational items and anything they would need to live an active lifestyle'
also to reward people that contributed while engaged in a active lifestyle, now honestly I knew it was too soon to start niche type of coins but i wanted to reserve the ticker and the logo and idea for a project i was passionate about and I believed it could weather the lows and survive, ACT (activecoin) had good hashrates and behind the trading scenes appeared to have good support - I was able to get it listed on an exchange honestly when at the time some exchanges insinuated and suggested that for a fee they would list coins (and I decided not to buy into exchanges), I bought into miner leases to keep hashing for those that were interested in the project and spent money on it that I earned at my day job to reward auctions on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Activecoin/ I might have gone about things wrong at the time in attempting to market the crypto but I have always had plans to invest in ACT and revive the blockchain I started that surely has a place in the world in many ways.

So the Issue is:
Achain has been using ACT as the ticker for their coin, it is tradable and listed on many different exchanges.
They have been using the same logo as activecoin: ACT
They have appropriated a brand that technically should be protected unless released by myself or those that hold ACT (activecoin) in a community vote while the chain is online.
I believe that the developers of achain were involved in the production of activecoin - using a copy of the bitcoin qt client that they sold to me through the bitcointalk.org forum.
To revive the blockchain of ACT (activecoin) at this point would be a head to head position against the Achain developers.
I am very upset that my creative content for an idea of a crypto was used without my consent.

-Chris-

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / )) -When are the CryptoBirdies going to be released???!-((Like the Hatchimals)) on: December 05, 2017, 09:37:41 PM
I think the Cryptokitties made a big stir and think a great game with cartoon animals like the Hatchimals would be awesome, with some sort of incubation period that could slow down the transactions.

What is your opinion?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 10K brought me back to alts - when was your last post? mine-4.19.14 (as burnum) on: November 30, 2017, 03:40:00 AM
Sooooo in the heat of what i thought was the big jump in Crypto's I made my last post in April of 2014 (as burnum), but the fire now is hotter than ever and brought me back into the mix and I was just wondering who else has a similiar story where the Big Bang (10K B!t@h#$) brought them back to where it all started?
