21  Bitcoin / Mining / KnC - DEAD on: May 28, 2016, 06:33:56 AM
KnC Dead - good fucking riddance.  Those guys deserve a harsh death sentence.  Neptune was a pile of junk delivered so late it was wildly unprofitable.  Glad to learn they also suffered under their own poor design.  $32Million - burned up in shit design and PCI-E connectors.  Survival of the fittest.  Both the Jews and Swedes proved they don't know how to make electronics - only China can make that shit right.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Help Andreas! on: May 25, 2016, 05:54:50 AM
The leadership under Bitcoin Foundation present executives has been a laugh.  Total rubbish.  Without leadership there, Greg Maxwell took over Bitcoin and ran it straight into the ground.

The only way to save bitcoin from an early death is to have Andreas Antonopoulis take a CEO role and guide the ship.  Maxwell fucked it all up.  Only Andreas will be able to right the ship at this point.

The irony is, Andreas would never take this role.  He is fully against such centralization.  It was an amazing weird series of events that led to the unraveling and disintegration of Bitcoin.  Fun to watch.  Didn't cost too much.

23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Wow! Great read. Bitcoin is definately busted. Here is why... on: May 25, 2016, 05:37:34 AM
This pretty much says it all in very good detail.

https://medium.com/the-coinbase-blog/ethereum-is-the-forefront-of-digital-currency-5300298f6c75#.pkpvquo2o

Bitcoin is in very big trouble because Core is such a mess.
24  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase falling is a big deal on: May 24, 2016, 06:54:40 PM
While the certainty remains in question, Coinbase falling is a very big blow to the community.  Without a good solid exchange, I am not sure bitcoin will have an easy time getting user adoption up to where it needs to be.  It sure is sad to see a real institution go down like that.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Memory is cheap - on: May 10, 2016, 05:29:46 AM
Somehow we worry about going to 2MB/block for fear of 'bloat', yet this is how much memory costs:

Today, you can buy enough memory for the entire blockchain for a few dollars.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Klieman was Satoshi - but now he is dead. on: May 05, 2016, 11:29:39 AM
That aussie was just trying to jump into his dead friend's shoes.  Nothing to see here - move along now.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ISIS / Bitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 04:04:58 PM
This article says:
"ISIS has even tried -- with unknown results -- to exploit Bitcoin accounts to raise money overseas, even putting out an English-language guide."
http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/04/middleeast/isis-finance-broke-lister/index.html

Has anyone seen this?  Seems like the Bitcoin community would have a copy if it were true.  Maybe this is just made up BS?  Otherwise, we should see a copy of this document somewhere around here.  I think journalists make up about half of the crap they write.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTF?! DDOSing on: March 06, 2016, 03:47:55 PM
Doesn't it bother anyone that DDosing is heavily pushing down Classic?  Satoshi devised a system where people vote with their software choice.  DDosing is taking away legitimate votes.  It is as if Donald Trump set fire to the ballot boxes containing votes for other people.  WTF?  Is their no bottom for the actions taken by the core people?

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The real death of Bitcoin... on: February 23, 2016, 02:11:25 PM
Well everyone - the experiment is over.  The blocksize/capacity thing just shows how fucking dumb 'concensus' is.  Everything 'distributed' = total fail.  They can't agree to move forward.  There is no CEO.  Now Coinbase is objecting to the bullshit HF 2017.  Having nobody to make a decision has ruined bitcoin.

Ethereum on the other hand is raging up there.  It's going to be huge.  They actually have someone on the top deciding to go left or right when they come to a fork (no pun intended).  'distributed' is cool, but it is unmanageable.  Just let it go with no one at the wheel proved to be stupid.

Bitcoin is now fully fucked.  Looks like Hearn's ragequit wasn't misplaced.

Time to buy Ethereum  - Say goodbye to bitcoin.

32  Economy / Speculation / Uh - oh Bitcoin going up. Is it Venezuela? on: February 14, 2016, 05:07:00 PM
The very new run up could be caused by the imminent collapse in Venezuela.  Could go to $500 by end of the week.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / From here on, Blockstream is your Daddy on: February 05, 2016, 08:33:59 AM
$55 million buys a shit-ton of influence.  From here, Blocksteam is everyone's new Daddy.  They now own the blockchain and you will never get it back.  Their Liquid and sidechains are made to look 'free' and 'public' but many more aspects of what they do are designed to cause you to pay tax on their system.

Long live 1MB blocks.  We just handed Bitcoin over to PwC.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Finally, Bitcoin Core = REKT on: January 29, 2016, 02:56:16 PM
Looks like those assholes at Blockstream are losing finally.  Looks like their 1MB block limit crippling of the blockchain so we all need to buy their Lightning Network isn't working out.  I knew people would finally jump over their very dumb arguments that 2MB would lead to centralization.

I am not in favor of a private entity owning a group of core programmers who take a position to make valuable the offerings of that private entity.  That just reeks of improper.  Good riddance Blockstream.  Looks like the new kid on the block is Bitcoin Classic!!!

35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / blockchain without bitcoin on: October 07, 2015, 07:33:29 AM
Just because 73 percent voted that blockchain can exist doesn't mean it is true.
http://www.coindesk.com/73-of-finance-pros-think-the-blockchain-can-thrive-without-bitcoin/

In America, over 50% vote that God exists - this does nothing to bring about the actual existence of God.

People can vote all day long - they are not in a position to determine why bitcoin the currency protects the integrity of the blockchain.  Rather, they just know 'bitcoin' is the funky thing which lots of sleazy people are using in extortion, drugs, fraud, scams.  'bitcoin' is tainted.  But, it doesn't matter, the blockchain doesn't exist without bitcoin.

Thankfully, I remember 1992 - 1996 when 90% of the Internet was traffic related to porn and nobody imagined it would go anywhere and others looked for ways to shut it down.  Gotta love religion!
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Inside Bitcoins - no Vegas show next year?! on: October 01, 2015, 06:15:30 PM
Wow!  Bitcoin is dying.  It looks like Inside Bitcoins isn't doing a show in Las Vegas next year?!
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin's biggest scourge on: September 29, 2015, 06:17:22 PM
Bitcoin's biggest scourge is 'cypherpunk anarchists' idiots who are anti-establishment.  All these banks are putting serious effort and money into building on this great invention - and they totally disown the idiots who might be characterized as cypherpunks.  http://www.coindesk.com/citi-hsbc-partner-with-r3cev-as-blockchain-project-adds-13-banks/   Bitcoin needs to carefully get rid of the morons who keep blowing the anti-society anti rules horn.  What a stupid end to a great invention.

Is bitcoin really dead?  Did the cypherpunk kill bitcoin?
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / It's over. Whew! on: August 22, 2015, 02:05:51 AM
OK - so that thing about blocksize is now over.  XT nodes leveled off and are now starting to actually go down.  High of 891 and now down to 870.  All they got was 800 and some change.  Not even 1/6 of the network.

Very poor showing.

Let's all get back to work now.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / XT 12.7% of Network - No blocks mined on: August 19, 2015, 06:12:33 PM
Why does XT have 12.7% of network - yet no mined blocks?  Is it because the 12.7 are shill nodes without mining capacity?  This is a real indictment against XT as it means they are trying to manipulate the appearance of adoption.  What else do these XT proponents do that is dishonest?
