9  Economy / Auctions / 900 ASICMINER shares auction on: February 17, 2013, 07:04:47 PM
This is an auction for 900 ASICMINER shares ie. 900/400000 or 0.225% of the company currently in possession of 12TH/s worth of ASICs, and >50TH/s more already on order. This is not a mining bond. Shares grant you ownership and dividents from a company that manufactures Bitcoin ASICs and runs a massive farm using those chips.

Starting price is 0.40 BTC per share, and minimal increment in price is 0.01 BTC. Please place your bets in form of <# of shares> @ <bid per share in bitcoins> eg. 100 @ 0.40

About the company:
As you may know, ASICMINER is the first company to bring notable ASIC hashpower onto the network, and is the primary cause for the recent difficulty rise of over 10%. You can read more about ASICMINER here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.0

ASICMINER promises to withold from taking any profits from mining until the shareholders will break even against the IPO price. After that, weekly dividends will be paid. ASICMINER plans to increase their hashing power to 50TH/s in the short term, and even more in long term. Resale of mining hardware is also planned, and shareholders will be entitled to their share of profits from that as well. Further hardware development has been planned as well.

Winning bidders will be asked to transfer BTC to an escrow (to be decided, volunteers welcome). Funds will be released to seller after escrow receives proof and confirmation that shares have been passed on to the winners of this auction.
10  Other / Off-topic / BFL ASICs featured in issue #4 of Bitcoin Magazine on: November 06, 2012, 11:09:25 AM
With many reports of people getting the november issue of Bitcoin Magazine, and indeed even some scans surfacing, I was wondering if there was any relevant new information to be found in that magazine.

I was under the impression, that the november issue of Bitcoin Magazine would contain more detailed information regarding BFL's ASICs, and stated that issue #4 will answer many questions that people were asking. I've seen scans of this magazine, and it all looks like 6 month old information to me.

Could anyone with access to the full magazine confirm if there indeed is any previously undisclosed detailed technical information on BFL's products?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Ztex miner integration into BAMT on: January 29, 2012, 11:29:47 AM
Anyone here running BAMT and considering Ztex FPGAs? I already went down that path, and have been discussing the possibility of better integration of Ztex miner into BAMT with the developer of BAMT. He want's some BTC for the work, but if we pool together we could have very nice integration with support for gpumon etc. Anyone interested?
