1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / FusionSilicon ASICS experience on: June 12, 2019, 09:52:28 AM
I am not here to promote or blame anything and/or anyone.

I am just here to share my experience with FusionSilicon and my contact that sells me ASICS miners.

I will make the story short: I bought through my contact in China several X2 and X1 machines. I was a bit sceptic cause FusionSilicon is new on the market and asics owners knows how frustrating could be to deal with faulty asics or asics made with poor chips.

Out of the several X2 that I have bought I had 3 damageds hashboards. My contact contacted FusionSilicon about the problem and I was very pleased when they said to ship the boards back to replace them for free. Everything was organized by my contact VERY quickly. The whole process took less than 1 week by DHL. I had to pay the shipping to China but my contact in China decided to pay for the me costs of the DHL shipping to return the boards to me.

Faulty boards can happen. What was important for me was the customer support. I have to say, to be honest, that without the amazing support of my contact things would have probably been much longer.

I had a problem with an X1 machine. Firmware got corrupted or something. Red light. No boot. No nothing. Machine dead. no ip at all.

In just 12 hours my contact have been able to get ahold of FusionSilicon, get the image for the x1 and the procedure to restore it.

In 12 hours my machine was back online.

Bottom line: I am VERY pleased with the FusionSilicon customer service after sales and also with their machines.

And I am SUPER happy about my contact in China that, not only can find for me almost every asic for very good price with quick shipping, but she offers me an increadible support and helped me to fix every problem. Plus she is available almost 24/7 (she was giving me assitance during her honeymoon!!!!)
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / HashAltcoin F1 Blackminer - Unbiased review - 08 October update - Video Review on: September 28, 2018, 05:02:25 PM
Hi guys,

After buying a nice quantity of BCU1525 I decided to buy, try and review the new HashAltcoin F1 Blackminer. An FPGA minser based on Xilinx k7 325 chips.
I will write a full, detailed, rich of technical info and unbiased review.

i will also test the overclocking limits of this machine with air and also inside one of my immersion cooling boxes (yes I build and sell ready to use immersion cooling boxes for fpgas)

I have absolutely no connection with the HashAltminer company. Hopeully this review will be of help to the comunity.

I will post this review on my -almost ready- FPGA tech blog. They also accepted to be interviewed by me. The full interview will be posted on my blog in a few days.

* if you like my review I would appreciate a +1 merit *

You can find my first review here. I tested 2 coins for now: https://youtu.be/_Idrf6gXm-s

- 28 September 2018 -

I got in contact with Kesen through their Discord channel, which guided me to place the order.
He has always replied quickly to all of my questions. This is a big plus considering that when I tried to deal with the Baikal customer service it was an hell of a nightmare! Usually it's not easy to contact and get support from the Chinese sellers. I have to say that this time I have been pisitively impressed. I asked what kind of payments they could accept. The only accepted payment at the moment is BTC. Once sent the BTC he asked me for my full address. DHL shipping is included in the price. And this another plus from my point of view.
He promised to ship ASAP. Let's see what ASAP means. Will keep you updated.

Kesen contacted me and sent me the tracking number. I was really not expecting to see my package shipped after only 24 hours. So far so good! DHL tracking ---> http://prntscr.com/l0am1q

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ASICMINERMARKET.COM - My buying (live) experience - BAIKAL X10 - [17/04/2018] on: April 07, 2018, 09:45:05 AM
Hi guys!

First of all I would like to say that if you are here to judge if it was or was not a good idea to buy an ASIC, this is not the right thread.
Second, I am here to write a review of my buying exprience with asicminermarket.com that, as of today (07/April/2018), is actually ongoing.
Third, I have no connection with Asicminermarket. I am a "normal" client.

I will update this post with the news day by day excluding the Sunday(s).

I have bought two Baikal X10 for the price of $2399. One for me and one for a friend of mine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th April 2018 - I placed the order online for the 2 Baikal X10 for the price of $2399 including free DHL shipping. After a few minutes I have received their reply which I think is a ready message:

Their reply was:
Quote
Dear friend
Your P.O. has been received. And please kindly read the information below if you have already transferred your payment in USD
(if not, please make your payment as soon as possible, and then read the information below).
Considering the current demands of the international trade and business,
and to guarantee the benefits of both sides, we need the business license of the company which transfers the payment
or the personal passport information of the person who transfers the payment to issue the commercial contract.
At the same time we need your USD transfer voucher
We’ll issue the contract as soon as we receive your information and USD transfer voucher.
and return it which will require your seal or signature in the corresponding place.
Then please send back the sealed or signed contract.
We’ll arrange the delivery for you once the contract is received.

Skype:yangrongdai
(Attention! my SKYPE account is yangrongdai, without other suffixes)

 Sincerely yours
 Asicminermarket team

After a few minutes I replied again making sure that they wanted my passport copy, recepit of the bank wire and that then they woul dhave ssent some kind of contract to be signed. They confirmed.

6th April 2018 - I have sent the bank wire in the morning (afternoon in China) and forwarded them the 1) passport copy 2) bank recepit. No reply from them.

7th April 2018 - Sent again to their email: sales@asicminermarket.com a request asking if they have received my email with the documents and that I am waiting for the "contract" to be signed.

7th April 2018  - They sent me a message on skype writing that they can't accept bank wires anymore and my money will be returned to me. And the only way to pay is digital currency. I am a little bit pissed off. They sent me the bank info and I have already sent the payment. Also right in this moment, if you place an order on their website, you can still select BANK WIRE as payment option. Why they don't remove it if it's not accepted?
Well, I asked them to give me further discount because of this. We'll see how this thing will go on. You can check my skype conversation with him here: ---> http://prntscr.com/j2478g

12th April 2018 Still not received the money back from the asicminermarket bank. I have contacted Yangrongday on Skype asking to speed up the thing but he didn't replied

13th April 2018 Money came back to my bank. Some fees have been taken but this is not Asicminermarket fault, but bank fees.

16th April 2018 I have sent again the money. This time by Western Union. Yangrongdai was agree to give me the original price of $2400 per each Baikal X10

17th April 2018 I am in contact with Yongongdai on Skype. So far the replies have been fast. He is now checking the status of the Western Union withdrawals. I had to send 5 different WU transactions so a bit of mess. I like the fact that the comunication is fast.

So far, other than the bank problem, the comunication have been good. Nothing to complain. I am now waiting for them to cash the money at Western Union and ship me the 2 Baikal X10 Cheesy

will keep you updated

4  Local / Mining (Italiano) / BAIKAL X10 - GRUPPO DI ACQUISTO on: March 21, 2018, 01:45:24 PM

5  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Acquisto Baikal X10. Interesse? on: March 20, 2018, 10:34:29 AM
Ciao ragazzi,

------------------

Hi,
Sorry for delay.
Thank you for your contacting.
Three types of sale. (shipping charge not included)
Giant-N:
  -Price: 1900usd each
-Delivery: within 7 working days after received your payment
  -MOQ: 4 units
  -Payment: USD bank transfer

Giant-B/ Giant-X10:
-Price: 2699usd each
-Delivery: Within 7 working days after received your payment
-MOQ: 2 units
-Payment: USD bank transfer

Shipping will be DHL/UPS. Waybill could be provided once we sent the miner from email.
Power supply: We never sell PSU. We would recommend you to buy PSU from your local market or online shop like amazon.
Please let me know which product you are interest.
Any questions please let me know.

BEST regards.

BAIKAL miner

 ----------------------------------

Ciaus!!!!!!!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Buying suggestion! please help on: March 17, 2018, 07:23:03 PM
if you would have to choose if to buy 3 Gtx 1070 Ti OR 2 x Antminer L2s which one would you choose?

Don't use a deciding factor the resale value please.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antimier L3+ vs X3/A3 on: March 17, 2018, 03:33:32 PM
I Am not really an expert of ASICs miners but wouldn't be better to invest on an L3 that can mine Scrypt then an X3 or A3 that mines algos that could be forked? With the L3 you get low profit now but if the BTC price will raise you can have nice profit. Also you don't have to be worried about forking.

What do you think?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antminer A3 now! on: March 15, 2018, 03:50:21 PM
Buying Antminer A3 now for abiut 1000usd would be a bad idea? Or a good bet but still a bet?

I want to start mining with asics together with my gpu but I am searching for a cheap/medium one to learn how to.

Which one would be the best choice?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / I need a tech explanation please on: February 16, 2018, 07:15:27 PM

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Asrock btc+ pro hash rate 12gpu on: February 14, 2018, 06:00:19 PM
Hi guys. I am having a strange problem. Maybe someone had the same and can help me.

I have an Asrock btc+ with 12 gtx 1070ti
2 psu for the cards. Each 1600w so a total of 3200w and also one separate psu 450w for the mb. All the connectors and power connectors on the mobo are plugged.

I have 16gb ram and G4400 gpu.

The problem is that the more cards I connect the less has rate per card i have
For example with tribus and one card I have 66mh/s. 2 cards 62mh/s. Up to 12 cards i have 50mh/s per card...

Anyone have idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

I run windows 10 1703.

Thanks!
12  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Gpu vs ASICS mining on: February 05, 2018, 08:39:33 AM

Grazie!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Pool VS Pool - Profit differences! Testing completed. on: February 03, 2018, 04:29:26 PM

I mined one coin 24 hours a day for 7 days with 2 rigs. Both of the rigs are IDENTICAL and they put down the same hasrate. (within a 1/2% margin). Same cards same all. Both are 10x1070ti rigs.

I mined the coin in two different pools WITHOUT autoexchange. Just the pure coin.

At the end of the week I have had a difference in my wallet between the 2 coins of an incredible 40%!!!!!!!!!!!!

how is it possible??? Can someone explain me in a very NOOB PROOF way?

thanks!!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Windows 10 MAX gpu on: February 01, 2018, 08:25:59 PM
Guys what's the max gpu actual limit for windows 10?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 9 X 1070ti + Win 10 = YESSSSSS on: January 31, 2018, 08:03:46 PM
Who said that windows do not accepts more than 8 gpu? After spending one full day spitting blood i have been able to install 9 gpu on my rig using windows 10 and Asus board!

This if course is just a messy installation for testing purposes. Now I will install all in my rigs room.

So damn happy!
