5  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Selling Google Glass Invite Code on: December 05, 2013, 06:49:04 AM
Hey guys,

I have a Google Glass Invite Code (that will expire in 7 days) to sell.

This is a code that enables you to purchase the device for $1,500 (which you can purchase on https://glass.google.com/getglass/).

The price tag for this is 0.015 0.005 BTC. (I just quickly want a few satoshi to gamble with  Grin)

However, before deciding to purchase this code, be wary of the requirements to buy the Glass itself.

You have to:
1. be a US resident
2. be 18 or over
3. provide a US shipping address or pick the Glass up in Google's locations in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles

Post here or PM me if you are interested! Smiley

Edit: If you would like, we can use escrow, but you have to pay for the escrow fees.
6  Economy / Games and rounds / FREE BITCOINS! (Lottery Style) on: December 04, 2013, 10:11:27 AM
(Before anything, I want to say that this was inspired by Monbux's lottery post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=354508.0)

Hey guys!

I want to give out (a portion of a  Wink) bitcoin.

This is mainly for the newbies (so that's why I'm posting this on the "Newbies" section so that they can comment), those who just learned of bitcoins, but any one can participate.

I want to have the opportunity to introduce this crypto currency to others by giving some out. (When I first learned of bitcoins, the free faucets all over the internet whetted my interest in this currency, so now I want to give "back to the society" so to speak.)

Here are a few things you have to do:

1. Make an account on http://freebitco.in/?r=49908
- This is a referral link. Signing up through this is necessary for me to keep track of everyone. Also, using this link will fund this giveaway.

2. Do the "free roll" at least 5 times and post the btc address you signed up with on here.
- I am setting the number 5 as the requirement because I don't want people to just make a whole bunch of accounts to sign up for this. This would make it unfair to others and render my whole purpose of introducing btc to people useless.

This is how I will choose the winners (every Monday evening, PST):

1.  I will randomly pick a one person out of everyone who participated (http://www.randomresult.com/pick.php) and award him/her 0.00025 BTC.

2. Also, I will award 0.00025 BTC to the person with the most "free plays."
- I am doing this to give more btc to the people who are the most eager about them. I'll interpret that the large number of free plays shows the person's enthusiasm for btc.

With the current price, a winner will be receiving about a USD quarter worth of btc. I think, receiving this, though it's not much, the winner will have an increased interest in btc because he will start paying a quarter worth more attention to this currency.

I hope that the people who didn't get chosen that week will benefit too with both the "free plays" they had gotten from the website and the increased attention they took for btc during the time.

I'm thinking of running this for a few weeks, thus giving out a few dollars, but unthought of  things can happen and change any situation, so I'm not sure how long this will go.

If you would like to donate to fund this lottery-style giveaway, feel free to.

Donations will be used only for this; so each donation will lengthen the continuation of this giveaway.

This got a bit long.. Hopefully I didn't bore you out.

Have fun earning/winning/exploring bitcoins!  Cheesy

7  Other / Off-topic / BTC Faucet.. why? on: December 04, 2013, 12:23:01 AM
I've used faucets once in a while, especially when I first learned of btc.

But I'm wondering.. why do people run faucets?

They're just giving out free money.

Do the Google ads give such significant income to make up for the loss?
8  Economy / Lending / 0.002 Very small loan! on: November 27, 2013, 01:19:15 AM
I just want to start gambling a bit but currently I have 0 btc.

I'm gonna get some btc within a week.

So no matter what I'll pay you back in a week.

I don't have any alt coins for collateral, but I'm just hoping that the lending amount is small enough that I'll get the loan quickly.

Please send it here and PM me
