41  Economy / Collectibles / [Interest Check] - Eleutheria SAMSARA Hybrid on: October 03, 2018, 09:06:35 PM
Hey all,
I’m potentially looking to part with one of the finest coins in my collection.
This piece is a real stunner and words won’t do it justice. Natty really hit the nail on the head with the design. It’s pretty slick!
For those that don’t know what it is, see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3297707.0

Coin comes in excellent condition. Please note that the airtight it comes with needs replacing. It’s badly cracked (that’s how it was received).

This coin will complete your collection!

Looking for about 0.165BTC shipped.
42  Other / Meta / Issues with Changing Avatar on: September 06, 2018, 08:34:25 AM
Is it just me or is there an issue with changing the avatar?
I've logged off and on again, cleared cookies and tried a bunch of different things but it seems that when I do either no avatar is displayed or the old one shows up. When I go back to Forum profile information and click on the avatar page it shows me the new avatar but doesn't actually apply it to the account. Any ideas?

44  Economy / Services / Looking for a QUICK LOGO on: August 26, 2018, 12:54:30 PM
Hey,
I need a logo created (today).
I have the idea mentally mapped. It isn't too tricky and not too intricate either.
It consists of mapping two words and structuring it nicely around two small drawings - (think of an illustration [black and white] of someone crossing their arms wonder woman style).
There's a really tight deadline so would need the logo ASAP.

Let me know if you could do this and if so what your price would be.
I know the timeframe is tough but the work involved isn't too demanding so ideally not looking to pay OTT prices.

Thanks!
45  Economy / Goods / [WTS/Interest Check] Genuine Cuban Cigars on: August 14, 2018, 04:04:20 PM
Hey,

Testing the waters here...
I've found an opportunity that has allowed me to buy some cheap (official) Cuban cigars.
I'm well aware of the fakes that are making their rounds online. From the 'my brother works at the tobacco house to the we keep a few on the side at the tobacco farms, I've heard them all. Rest assured that these are 100% genuine.
This opportunity is limited and I don't know how long I'll be able to offer this service at heavily discounted prices.
The cigars ship internationally and can take between from 1-3 weeks to arrive to arrive.
Please note that import taxes/tariffs may apply at the buyers responsibility.

For reference I can source most Cuban brands (depending on stock). If you are genuinely interested then please either PM me or post below with the Cigar of your choice and I'll get a quote to you.
The cigars will be vacuum packed for shipment.
Small packets of singles and larger boxes are available (1x3, 5x3, 5x5, 10, 25 etc).

Thanks Smiley
46  Other / Meta / Allowing Mods to Delete Scam Threads (Marketplace) on: August 13, 2018, 02:59:01 PM
I know it's slightly controversial, but can we start allowing mods in the marketplace to close/delete or even be able to tag specific threads that are high risk scams?
There are countless threads advertising goods/services that are blatant scams where the OP locks the thread/self-moderates not allowing any constructive comments.
I know a buyer should apply due diligence, but wouldn't clamping down on this eventually weed out the spam/scam threads and help with all the cluster that cthe marketplace sub is currently in?

54  Economy / Collectibles / [ANN] VaultBar - Hybrid BTC & ETH storage bar! on: May 30, 2018, 12:41:47 AM
Helllllooooo all!
I can't believe it! The day has finally arrived! It's been a long time coming, but I am both humbled and delighted to introduce the VaultBar.
This started off as a hobby that soon turned into an actual project which has come to fruition with thanks to a number of members on and off of this forum. Without their help, input and support, I'd have long given up on this project given the multiple failures and setbacks endured throughout.
But, that's not important. Because. Today. It. Is. Ready. And I'm absolutely thrilled!;D

So enough blabber, Here are the deets you want:

Specifications:
Bar dimensions: 5.7 x 10 x 0.8 (cm)
Bar weight: 270g
Material: 24k gold plated alloy

Artwork (Reverse and Obverse): Both sides are similar with subtle changes. The bar features a detailed border around the edges and corners directing the focus of attention to the centre of the image. They are the curtains that set the stage, inviting you to one of the greatest match-ups you have/will ever see. On one side you have the mighty BTC landing a knockout blow to the inferior USD whilst the ETH takes on the EUR in a similar duel.
The crowd can be seen beneath the stage cheering the fighters on whilst the match lineup and stats are shown for each fighter.
The bottom of the bar reads: PLACE YOUR BETS - inviting you to join in on the fun, sit back and watch as history is written.

Hologram: The hologram features an outer border with a number of gears and mechanisms representing security. Around the window that displays the key is a border that represents the digital nature and expanding network of digital currencies. When light catches the hologram from the right angle, you will also be able to make out the words VaultBar with some stacked bars on each side of it.

Details:
Price: $75 $60
Packaging: Foam bag in padded envelope
Holograms: 6 (per bar)
Mintage: Less than 150 (exact number TBC)
Payment: BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR and VIA
Please PM for orders.

Shipping:
Shipping is from the UK.
Shipping costs depend on quantity and location.
For US orders, shipping will be handled by MJ (minerjones) who will calculate individual shipping costs. This will be much more cost-effective (cheaper) for those living across the pond. - After an order is placed, I will ship the bars to MJ who will arrange domestic delivery.
For UK and EU delivery details, please PM for a quote.

Escrow accepted at buyer's cost.

Please note that due to the nature of the bar (design) and the extent of the manufacturing process involved; no 2 bars are identical. All have some differences in finish/plating. I have looked at each bar individually and removed those that aren't of a high enough standard given the manufacturing process involved. Small bumps/creases are to be expected and add character. This bar is both a piece of art and a showpiece. Whilst some of you may not like to get it grubby/smudged with fingerprints, others would be happy to have this lying on their desk as a conversational piece. In either case, I want you to make it your bar, to enjoy it, and to let it tell its own (and your) story.

59  Economy / Collectibles / Garlicoin Physical Storage [Free template] - Garlicard on: March 05, 2018, 05:11:01 PM
Hey,

I was working on a form of physical storage for Garlicoin following its release, but seeing as I don't have the time to continue to pursue it, I feel like sharing it here is the only right thing to do.
Due to the nature of the card (small detail/print), some standard printers won't be able to bring out all the card details but there are some that might (I've been told that the higher end ID card printers would).
I opted to go for a small denomination of GRLC but feel free to change it as you please. (I have attached a download link to the ai file below).

I feel like its a shame to let this go unused so low and behold, I present to you all... The Garlicard!
The inner lines on the reverse and obverse are meant to serve as guides for the key placement (private and public) whilst the outer lines/borders are meant to help the placement of a scratch off panel and clear plastic sticker for the public key/QR code. There is a standard square hologram scratch off panel available cheaply online that fits the card well.

Feel free to post any questions, hate, love or both.
If anyone does go about making some of these for themselves then I'd love to see a picture or two (the ones I printed didn't come out 100%).

Here's a mockup for reference.
