https://www.coindesk.com/taxing-every-bitcoin-purchase-will-backfire-irs/I really like this idea they refer to in the article. By implementing a similar de minimus exemption for cryptocurrency gains under $200, the IRS could massively simplify the tax code in this area and make it more likely that bitcoin users will report their gains properly. This would make ppl. lives easier around tax time, instead of nickeling and diming them US gov. gosh, anyone agree?

https://www.coindesk.com/email-service-mailchimp-block-ico-crypto-marketing/So if you haven't heard already mailchimp starting next month will not allow any marketing material dealing with ICO's. How in the world can they claim they believe that blockchain technologies will be helpful to society but then ban the use of their services for marketing? Am I the only person who thinks this is so hypocritical?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-breaks-7000-to-50-day-low-amid-market-sell-off/We know that cryptocurrencies are without a doubt changing hands right now, but is it even wise to invest into the crypto economy anymore with the top 20 tokens all showing a 10 to 20 percent sell-off within the last 24 hours? Is this the end, are the days of bull runs over in Crypto? Ever since February we've been struggling to break $11kish and now it's back down, what are we to make of this?

https://www.coindesk.com/us-lawmaker-presses-treasury-department-on-venezuelas-petro-sale/I understand that there are US restraints with Venezuela so that we are not fueling their corrupted gov. and dictatorship but at what lengths should the effect Cryptocurrency. I agree w the US that they should not aid and help this economy impoverish the Ven. citizens further but how and where do you draw a line with crypto? I know the US likes to control everything they can but should they be allowed to control other nations crypto decisions/coins? Thoughts?

https://www.coindesk.com/florida-state-employee-arrested-for-allegedly-mining-crypto-at-work/I find this very confusing. It's not like he was shooting up drugs at work or doing something illegal that would require a reaction of arrest in my opinion. However, using the state cpu and energy for other reasons than work-related can make a case for work disciplinary actions but arrest like if mining crypto was some sort of crime? Do you agree with the potential charge/charges?
