So if you haven't heard already mailchimp starting next month will not allow any marketing material dealing with ICO's. How in the world can they claim they believe that blockchain technologies will be helpful to society but then ban the use of their services for marketing? Am I the only person who thinks this is so hypocritical?

I believe this is pure censorship as some one decides what will be transmitted across to public to read or what's not.

Censorship or not, they are a private organization and in their full right to do as they please. There are plenty of other options to choose from that are ICO friendly. I do not support this decision at all, but I understand it totally, we know well that over 95% of the near 2000 coins do NOT in any way deliver anything new, innovative or useful as tech and simply are there to fool people into investing in it, these coins will eventually fade away and there is no other alternative. That being said, mailchimp does not want to take part in any way in this de facto massive scam.
