2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Attention IOTA founder spreading trojan horse on: September 01, 2016, 08:11:45 PM

No I donīt know what the shit you are talking about, search 3 neutral moderators if you think I am able to affect them anyhow.
Why are you searching permantly excuses, whats wrong with you Kim-Yong-Beyond, founder of IOTA ?

Ok, I'll give you the 3rd hint, if you don't get it I'll be unable to help you.

Hint: What is common between you and the girl from this clip - http://img-9gag-fun.9cache.com/photo/a3jyAZ5_460sv.mp4?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Beware of IOTA Main Developers on: August 31, 2016, 11:59:51 AM
Unfortunately all my posts were deleted in the "IOTA" Topic from IOTA Chief-Developer "Come-from-Beyond".

I feel responsible to warn all community members here of IOTA Main-Developer whose response to my lost of 10 btc (5.750 $ atm) was:

1. Dev and IOTA Slack coordinator Dominik Schiener making fun of me directly after I was scammed in their Slack-channel, telling me to "contact Bitcoin Core, maybe they will fork"

2. Co-Founder and communication Manager David Sønstebø : Being rude to me and accusing me repeatedly "being stupid" from his "objective point" instead of apologizing for their behaviour.

3. Founder and Chief-Developer "Come-from-Beyond" : Finally removing all my posts, claiming there never has been a scamming and I am a liar, allegedly because I didnīt want to publish my Bitcoin-Transaction hash.

He ignored my response that I donīt want him and anybody else being able to associate my nickname with my Bitcoin address. Anyway, respected members on this forum are welcome to check my Bitcoin-Transaction to the scammer, as long they keep the data secret.

My ultimate advice is:

A. Donīt buy IOTA Coins in their Slack Trading Channel, the chance being scammed in enormous unless you are familiar with Slack [Scammer can change his name and pictures to the same one of the Dev, Escrow, Trader and contact you]

B. Think twice in which Coin you want to invest, IOTA may be interesting but do you wanīt to invest in a coin whose

  • - Founder is properly a childish smartass, removing anything he donīt likes. "Come-from-Beyond"

    - Co-Founder is rude, egocentric and arrogant. "Iotatoken"

    - Dev and IOTA Slack coordinator Dominik Schiener making fun of people being scammed trying to buy IOTA Coins on his Slack-Channel?

If I was anyhow offensive in my post I apologize, I just want to point out that I was attacked several times from various members of the IOTA team trying to discredit me instead of acknowledge the facts which I described on A. and B.

Attached my conversation with the Scammer:

Quote
After I entered the IOTA trading channel in Slack, the user "Dominik Schiener" contacted me.
At the end of our conversation the user "Dominik Schiener" changed his name to: "Admiral Bit"

Dominik Schiener [11:56 PM]
Hi, if you are looking to source IOTA quickly and secure I am offering batches of 1 TIOTA @ 10 Bitcoin per batch.  If you require any just let me know.  Thanks, Dom

yumei [12:01 AM]
well can you explain me how it works with trading, do I need to transfer BTC anywhere for the bot recognizing it, or its just a OTC between me and you where we have to handle anything else ?

Dominik Schiener [12:02 AM]
I am one of the IOTA devs so trades are secure.  You can also go to the trading channel and type "BIDS" or "ASKS" for the bot to respond.  Trades are manual so escrow is recommended if you are dealing with a regular member here

[12:04]
Seccour or Yassin are recommended for Escrow

yumei [12:04 AM]
ok I understand, may I ask you some questions then? is IOTA pow or pos, how is it different to bitcoin beside there is no typical blockchain, my english is poor, so I didnt understand that much. but if you donīt have time to explain its fine I will search elsewhere, but I am highly interested to buy from you

Dominik Schiener [12:05 AM]
All the info you require can be found here in detail : https://www.iotatoken.com/

[12:06]
IOTA has big advantages over bitcoin regarding scalability, no fees, fully decentralized

yumei [12:07 AM]
ok i am actually installing the client, how long you will be online to do the trade ?

Dominik Schiener [12:09 AM]
I will be on and off on a regular basis. When you are ready please use the following bitcoin address for payment : [hidden]

After transfer drop me a pm with your IOTA address, IOTA will be sent after 1 confirmation of the bitcoin

[12:10]
You dont needa fully synced wallet to complete the trade and you can also check the IOTA has been sent using the tangle explorer here :  http://tangle.guru/

yumei [12:10 AM]
ok thanks a lot Dominik, I appreciate your help a lot, I will pm you when I do the first 10 btc batch for 1 T IOTA

Dominik Schiener [12:10 AM]
No probs.

Dominik Schiener [12:53 AM]
heading offline soon.  If you decide to purchase the IOTA just send to the bitcoin to the above address (Hidden) then message me your IOTA address.  IOTA will be sent when I come back online shortly.  Current price is 10 BTC per 1 TIOTA (25 batches available)  - price is also subject to change so dont think about it too long   thanks, Dom.

yumei [12:55 AM]
yes, actually I am downloading the data, seems like I need to download if completly before I can attach my address to tangle ?

[12:55]
unfortunatly client is not showing me on status bar, how much I have still to download

Dominik Schiener [12:56 AM]
You can use the address before attaching to tangle.  to give you an idea of how much you need to download you can reference the milestones here :  https://iotatangle.slack.com/messages/botbox/

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Blockstream the reason why 4 core developer wonīt increase the blocksize? on: May 30, 2015, 06:50:22 PM
So what do you think about my theory, while about 80% of the bitcoin community vote yes for bigger blocksize, some bitcoin core devs wonīt .
source: http://www.poll-maker.com/results233857xDa614c79-9#tab-2

Core Developer Gregory Maxwell, Pieter Wuille, Matt Corallo and Luke Dashjr are involved in the company Blockstream, source: https://www.blockstream.com/team/
They got a $21M seed round, source: http://blockstream.com/2014/11/17/blockstream-closes-21m-seed-round/

Their opinion about bigger blocksize:

Gregory Maxwell
Current Affiliations: Blockstream
Bitcoin core: top 20 core developer by # of commits. Has commit access.
Comments: http://sourceforge.net/p/bitcoin/mailman/message/34090559/

Pieter Wuille
Current Affiliations: Blockstream
Bitcoin core: top 5 core developer by # of commits. Has commit access.
Comments: http://www.mail-archive.com/bitcoin-development@lists.sourceforge.net/msg07466.html

Matt Corallo
Current Affiliations: Blockstream
Bitcoin Core : top 10 core developer by # of commits
Comments: http://sourceforge.net/p/bitcoin/mailman/message/34090292/

Luke Dashjr
Current Affiliations: Eligius Mining Pool
Bitcoin Core: top 10 core developer by # of commits
Comments: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/34y48z/mike_hearn_the_capacity_cliff_and_why_we_cant_use/cqzadpn

They want Blockstream being successful and are already working with the lightning network, which provides an alternative for scaling the blocksize:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/20618/blockstream-starts-development-lightning-network/
About lighning network: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zVzw912wPo

Maybe they are financially motivated to not increasing the blocksize. Gregory Maxwell, Pieter Wuille, Matt Corallo annd Luke Dashjr doesnīt want bigger blocksize because they want to be successful with their Blockstream company which is about sidechains, source: https://www.blockstream.com/sidechains.pdf

Nothing against Blockstream, but prevent bigger blocksize to force the bitcoin community using Blockstream, respective sidechains might be a big reason why this gentlemens stand against bigger blocksize, isnīt it?

I hope someone more technical can schedule on my theory.

Hi, I am not talking about the confirmation. Only the Transaction details from my Bitcoin QT 0.10.1 Client to the Blockchain.
I was just trying to buy something online via coinbase gateway with a normal 10 minute timeperiod,
but my Transaction was settled in the blockchain over 30 minutes later. Attached the screenshot:

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / vTorrent - VOTING - Should we keep the block reward or reduce it to lower size on: December 28, 2014, 12:48:49 PM
I talked to vTorrent and he pleased me to start a poll about how to continue with vTorrent.

1. Keep it as it is ( No changes at all )
2. Decreasing mining block size to 10 ( There wonīt be any change on the amount of POW ever created coins, but they will be created in a much larger timespan, like 10 years instead of ~ 30 days actually )
3. Going fully POS   (Going fully POS right now, which means rigorous changes at all)

This was my suggestion on vTorrent thread, so I will vote for block size 10.

Quote
Imho we need a hard-fork as fast as possible to reduce the amount of vtorrents being mined per block.

Actually vTorrent is being abused from miners doing just a mine and dump game who surely give a fuck about vTorrent concept at all.
We just should decrease the amounts of coins mined per block to someting like 10.
1. It will stabilise the price,
2. It will stay attractiv for miners on long-term and not only for the small period of mining proposed actually.
3. It will not change anything on the concept because the total number of coins being distributed wonīt change.

9  Economy / Service Discussion / bitcoinfoundation.org not sending lifttime-membership account details. on: December 28, 2014, 12:01:53 PM
About 3 weeks ago I decided to donate for the bitcoinfoundation.org, so I registered with their website and apply for lifttime-membership.

After payment was done, I did not receive any email from them, so I decided to contact them with http://bitcoinfoundation.org/contact/

After 3 days I received an email they will care and try to find why the registration email was not send to me. That was about 2 weeks ago- I am still waiting for my user-login data. Normally I donīt have any problems receiving emails and I checked my spam folder as well..

I still can not login to the forum, I only can login into the members area with the given registration details on the webpage after registration.

Dear bitcoinfoundation.org team, can you please take more responsibility. Thanks

12  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Preventing Asic mining [fork] after next halving would solve a lot of problems. on: October 05, 2014, 02:37:33 PM
Preventing Asic mining after next halving would solve a lot of problems.

Actually we are in a phase of centralising the bitcoin network, from individuals to companies belonging big asic farms.

Satoshi for sure never planned asic mining. 99% of the bitcoin community would benefit when asic mining is prohibited.

Without asic mining we would never have such a bump and dump scenario we have actually. Big asic farm holder selling their bitcoins to be able to pay the electrician and to cut out competition due low efficiency of mining.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [Insider Information]Mark Karpeles is involved in an upcoming Bitcoin investment on: February 21, 2014, 11:13:02 AM
I have talked to a guy who is working in the environment of Mark Karpeles. He claimed that Mark has some kind of a agreement or even secretly involved in an "investment company" who is going to offer Bitcoin investment vehicles like ETFīs.
The question is whether Mark even starts or give in order the malleability ddos attacks to have an excuse for a longer period of downtimes on MTGox.
I think now it makes all sense. We have small Bitcoin prices due the manipulation on every exchanger which makes it actually really attractive to build a bitcoin portfolio.

I am in touch with this guy and will inform you about updates.

For more related information I am willing to pay Bitcoins.
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Mark Karpales is defrauding his customer, you should sue/charge him. on: February 17, 2014, 10:27:36 AM
For me its quite sure that Mark Karpales aka MTGox is defrauding his customer by not fixing the Malleability issues. I am CEO of a big online company and I can confirm that it only should take 24-72 hours to fix that issue, with gox its already more then a week. He is evidently earning money with the high trading volume due the confusion on MTGox. I am also pretty sure that he is involved in insider trading
by letting himself or friends withdraw cheap MTGox bitcoins.

At least he already understand that MTGox will go down and now he is trying to squeeze his customer at cost of a worldwide bitcoin destability.

To prevent local police investigations he will surely come back with bitcoin withdrawels and I am pretty sure he is already planing to close down his service afterwards. But actually he is earning soo much money/bitcoins due the defrauding of his customer, that he can definatly afford it.

By the way I donīt have money nore bitcoins with MTGox, I am just angry about this obvious fraud and the hugh damage on bitcoins.

20  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / BTCChina - Withdraw Bitcoins/Money not working, E-Mail support not answering on: November 30, 2013, 05:06:01 PM
Hi I have massive problems with BTCChina, while funding Bitcoins was really easy, its not possible to withdraw Bitcoins, I get a "failure" to do so though I was doing anything like requested.
Withdrawing money was also denied, because of the "Branch" was not set correctly.
Moreover the Support is not answering to e-mails nor its possible to reach someone through QQ, its says all the time that more than "100 people are looking for help before me.

I donīt know how this exchanger is being used by normal people, due it seems like nothing its working correctly.
