41  Economy / Services / Reputable web hosts that accept BTC? on: March 11, 2014, 01:01:04 AM
Hello, i'm looking to host a small personal site for BTC. It'll be nothing more than a few small pages so a small plan would be best. What are my options? Thanks.
42  Bitcoin / Project Development / Help with Javascript and Github Pages on: March 09, 2014, 01:57:51 AM
Hello, I was trying to make a site that would display API data from multiple exchanges and display it to the user as a learning project but when I went to actually use javascript to get the API data, my IP was blocked from Bitstamp's servers. I assume this is because someone on github pages went over the request limit and got the IP banned. Is there a way to make the javascript send the request from the client IP instead of the server so that the IP isn't blocked? Thanks!
43  Bitcoin / Wallet software / GreenAddress.it - Has anyone used this wallet? on: March 03, 2014, 11:11:28 PM
It seems like a good idea for a web wallet and secure as far as I can tell but I've only seen it mentioned on the forums once and it doesn't have it's own thread. Can I get some opinions on it?
44  Economy / Scam Accusations / RitzGrandCasino not provably fair (Has nothing to do with their sig program) on: February 27, 2014, 04:00:29 PM
I cannot find anywhere on their site where they explain how they are provably fair, even though they claim to be on their thread. All of my replies on their other thread have been deleted and I suggest the other accounts that are supporting him are also run by him, and he also talks in a very unprofessional manner.

I will delete this thread as soon as concrete evidence of their provable fairness is provided.

EDIT: As people that like to support RGC seem to think, this is not about their signature program. This is about them claiming to be provably fair, and not being, and also not backing up their own claims.
45  Other / Meta / When are we going to be able to choose avatars again? on: February 26, 2014, 02:40:43 AM
I haven't gotten to put an avatar on my profile and frankly it's pretty disturbing that it's taking theymos this long to sort out the forum.
46  Other / Off-topic / What does it mean if two periods are typed in a row? on: February 25, 2014, 03:49:57 PM
A single period ends a sentence, three denotes pause, but people type two at the end of their sentences sometimes. What is it? A typo? Some strange signal to wait? The second coming of our lord and savior satoshi nakamoto? I need answers!
47  Other / Meta / When will we be able to add avatars again? on: February 23, 2014, 08:11:47 PM
I've been waiting forever but it seems that thermos doesn't know how to run a forum.

49  Economy / Gambling / [META] This subforum is starting to turn into the altcoin section on: February 17, 2014, 05:05:04 PM
There are so many posts for new "ponzi schemes" made by first post newbies. We need to come up with some kind of rule about ponzis because they're drowning out the casinos and things meant to be here. Also, when someone posts a sketchy shop or something like that, it gets moved to the gambling section instead of deleted. We need to have a gambling sub for actual casinos and games, and then another one for things deemed risky like ponzis and sketchy sales. It would help clean up the forum just like altcoins was cleaned up.

...and say to yourself, "At least I didn't toss the Super Bowl coin before the team predicted the toss on live national television". Then say, "At least I didn't get a safety the first play of the Super Bowl".

So many lulz in only 5 minutes.
