2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What happened to Devcoin? on: June 25, 2020, 01:47:13 AM
As far as I got it, you can mine Devcoin in conjunction with Bitcoin, so you get more value at no additional cost. Devcoin is also deflationary, a fixed amount gets issued per year, so that the inflation gets lower and lower.

And still, this coin has been inactive for a long time. Why? It was one of the rather big coins in its heyday.
3  Other / Meta / How do I unfollow threads? on: February 12, 2020, 10:23:38 PM
I have two threads I would like to unfollow, they should no longer show up in "Show new replies to your posts.". But neither "Unwatch", nor deleting them from the Watchlist works. What can I do?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Who offers me the best rate? WTB 700 Waves, can pay with PayPal, Mastercard, Visa. on: December 20, 2019, 11:09:32 PM
I suppose I need someone who I can trust, and then we'll do in quarter steps: I pay you for 175 Waves, you send the Waves, I pay another 175 Waves, you send the next batch of 175 Waves, and so on, until we have the whole amount done. My contact information, including my landline phone number, can be found on my homepage in my profile.

6  Economy / Gambling / Live on Chain - WavesPlay.com - Poker Room, Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life on: November 15, 2019, 10:01:49 PM

FAQ

Question: Why WavesPlay?
Answer: I wanted a coinflip game for my own Waves tokens (eFranken, eKaulitz, KHADD, and Bitcoin Speed). A Poker room, dice, and a referral system are now included. All Waves tokens can be played but might not be stocked on the bankroll for winnings.

Q: What else can you tell me about the site?
A:  New site, no ads, no external trackers, runs on-chain, referral system with 50% cut of the 4% house edge for life on wins, is the first multi-token Waves game site. As the site runs on-chain, you have to be able to pay the standard Waves transfer fee of 0.005 in Waves or sponsored tokens for every play.

Q: On what blockchain does the site run?
A: It runs on the Waves blockchain (https://waves.tech). So your funds need to be on a Waves account for you to be able to play. But you can deposit several popular cryptos into your Waves wallet by using the provided addresses by the latter.

Q: Why must I install and use Waves Keeper?
A: Waves Keeper is the official tool of Waves to interact with decentralized apps (dApps). Get it from the official Waves site here: https://docs.waves.tech/en/ecosystem/waves-keeper. This way you don't need to trust the dApps with your private keys.

Q: How do I deposit funds?
A: You can't deposit into the site directly. Whatever funds you want to play with are stored on your Waves account, which you import to Waves Keeper, not the site itself. The only exception is the poker module, where you must deposit into the smart contract (Right now, the poker module is offline due to running costs.)

Q: Can I play on mobile?
A: Yes, with email login.

Q: How do I use the website as an app on my phone?
A:
  • Apple iOS: Open the site in Safari, click on the share icon, and tap on "To Home Screen" and then on "Add".
  • Google Android: Open the site in Chrome, tap on the three dots for the menu, and then tap on "Add to Home Screen" and then on "Add".

Q: If I have additional questions not answered here, what can I do?
A: You can either post in this thread, use the official Telegram group or send an email for either English or German support.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN][Softlaunch] Bitcoin Speed - Fast transfers on: June 08, 2019, 09:29:35 PM

I wanted a Bitcoin that is fast. So I issued the Bitcoin Speed as a Waves token.

- 21 Million in total
- 1.05 Million reserved for project financing
- Over one third of a million already sold
- Faucet online, with hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin Speed stocked right now. You can 50 every hour, as long as supply lasts.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My original Coinmarketcap.com bookmark makes me nostalgic on: July 22, 2018, 03:48:03 PM
Because the title of the site then and so my old bookmark reads "Crypto-Currency Market Capitalizations | Bitcoin Litecoin Peercoin Namecoin Novacoin Primecoin Feathercoin WorldCoin CryptogenicBullion Devcoin and more..." when I set the bookmark in around 2013. Only two, Bitcoin and Litecoin are still widely talked about, the rest has more or less gone into oblivion.

I just thought I'll mention it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Cryptocurrency with a Solar Energy Powered Portable Device on: May 25, 2018, 01:55:28 AM
I just put this info site online: https://www.solarminer.info

Here's the website's short text:

*snip*
Mining Cryptocurrency with a Solar Energy Powered Portable Device

The goal of this website is to evaluate if such a product either already exits, or can be constructed. The idea is to be able to provide a solution-in-a-box solar miner capable of mining fair cryptocurrencies like Monero. The device should cointain a solar panel (combined with a battery for times without sun) powering a system-on-a-chip computer with WIFI running a web based mining application. Waterproof.

High production charges would be necessary for the system to be affordable. Imagine picking up your own solar miner at the store for the price of a meal of four, and then letting it work for you hands-off with free energy.
*snip*

What do you think? Got any information about it? Thank you for your consideration.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / WTB 0,00129016 LTC for 50K eFranken - I would send in advance. on: December 06, 2017, 08:29:17 AM
Hi,

I would like to top up my Litecoin balance to exactly 5.0 units. For this, I need another 0,00129016 LTC. I would like to give you 50 000 EFR from the eFranken Waves token I created. This is the current eFranken value at time of this posting. I also would send first. For information about eFranken, see signature. Thank you.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Waves token dice/casino needed - Who can help? on: November 29, 2017, 05:47:23 AM
I am looking to add more appeal to my Waves cryptotoken "eFranken". Having a gambling site for it would be awesome. I envision a least a dice game, maybe even a roulette and black jack game, too. Fees should be paid with my token, as this is possible on the Waves platform. So I don't need to stock the gambling site with Waves for paying (withdrawal) fees.

A very simple dice script should be doable at reasonable cost; I suppose integrating my Waves token as gambling currency and means of fee payment is trickier. Can you help me with this, or do you know someone who could? Any help greatly appreciated.

Token Info:

Name: eFranken

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN][Softlaunch][Waves] eFranken - Swiss Cryptotoken on: November 04, 2017, 05:01:36 AM

I have created the Swiss crypto-token "eFranken" for the population of Switzerland. The Token is based on the Waves Cryptocurrency. The token amount is calculated to be enough for every Swiss inhabitant to own about 100 tokens if evenly distributed. But everyone worldwide can use (get) the token. I always wanted to create a token to pay goods in Switzerland and beyond.

Token Info:

Name: eFranken
Parent: Waves
Issued: 13. June 2017
Amount: 1 000 000 000/One Billion, non-reissuable now.
Decimals: 8

ICO: None. Soft launch.

Exchanges: Waves DEX. Use the token ID to look up trading pairs: 3D72RUJvJM1rMzw9VgrmU4SWjzEtYqHiLP9ZY7rhRw5c.

Play: You can play with eFranken on https://wavesplay.com

Token Homepage: https://parvex.org/efranken

Telegram chat: Join here: https://t.me/joinchat/GSg53Ee34bn71iGV944rug

Team: I am on my own, so it is just me, Pascal (Swiss citizen).

For a roadmap, see the eFranken website.

15  Economy / Gambling / From 650 Bitcoins to one: Why you should never gamble on: March 03, 2015, 10:55:18 AM
Well, I have a gambling problem and I will ask my "Shrink" for help. My problem is that I like to play roulette. So long story short, I made it from 650 Bitcoins, where almost 600 were pure profit, to one. You can check it here: https://blockchain.info/de/address/1GJ7EMh9JyyBAKteQZLHXn8jbHz5ymfCqW And 340 Bitcoins from my winnings are not even in the Blockchain, als I only had them ingame (roulette) and sadly did not cash out until I had lost everything.

So here is my warning: Never gamble! It is just not worth it! Not the money, not the nerves. I also have played roulette wiht Fiat money in the last 10 years, my total loss up to date is around 25'000 Dollars. I now only have 1.4 Bitcoinis and 10.250 Million Dogecoins left...Now I just have the money to make ends meet.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is the "Multicoin" light wallet for several coins legit or a theft scam? on: February 13, 2015, 10:14:54 PM
I was looking for a light wallet for DevCoin and found this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/multicoin/

No reviews possible, only three downloads. Is this the real deal or just a try to steal coins? Is there a safe way to find out?
