1  Other / Meta / REMOVE OR REDIRECT ALL INACTIVE SILKCOIN THREADS TO CURRENT on: July 29, 2014, 08:40:42 PM
Hello,

As we've done a complete community takeover of Silkcoin, and are releasing new client and all marketing material today and coming weeks,

We are wondering if there is anyway to close/remove or redirect all traffic to the correct thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676976.0

There are 3 inactive threads, and want to make sure users get the correct client and all relevant info.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=599438.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=664918.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=660848.0
These threads are all completely irrelevant, and are inactive for quite some time now.

Let me know!

Thanks,

Hanz

Silkcoin Block Explorer

http://silkexplorer.silknetwork.org

New Silkcoin folder updated for quick sync  including nodes
For Newcomers
download and install the silkcoin wallet first
start the wallet for a minute or so then exit
Get the updated files: Download the silkcoin.zip file, it's around 900megs..
Files here On Google Drive

Then use the search feature for windows, and search for %APPDATA%
Once you're there click "Roaming" then goto the Silkcoin dir.
This is the folder where silkcoin wallet keeps the data

Then extract everything over, everything from silkcoin.zip file, into the silkcoin folder you found in the %APPDATA% search. Overwrite all.

Don't delete or play with your wallet.dat file.

PS: You only need to do this in case of trouble, loss of data, no sync wallet, or new to the silkcoin

Good syncing

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What criteria do exchanges have for listings of new coins? on: June 03, 2014, 04:06:23 AM
How does a dev contact an exchange?

What criteria should the dev meet before asking?

Are there different exchanges that add coins based on different volumes?

What exchanges accept fees to list coins?
How much are the fees?

And anything else related to the subject of having new coins listed!
