1  Economy / Services / I am looking for someone to research new cryptos for me (and themselves) on: August 14, 2017, 06:45:36 AM
Hi I am looking to hire someone who is already currently researching and trading cryptos to work with me on a weekly basis. Since work has gone crazy I have not been able to do this myself. What I am looking for is someone to research coins, upcoming announcements, rough dates for announcements and new releases of major coins and feed that info back to me on a weekly basis preferably. What I am also looking for is someone to research 1-3 good picks in the top 20 market-caps, top 100, and top 500 market-caps. This would involve the purpose for the coin, current outlook, valuation and most importantly upcoming release/s and announcements. So you will research new coins that have a good purpose, which may be undervalued in the market. Also an upcoming ICO list so I don't miss any new and upcoming icos. If you are up for the task or already know a website where this information is available for a fee, please get in touch with some information, a quote and what you may be able to help me with regarding this list.

Kind regards,
Jamesco
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best Token issuance crypto? on: July 26, 2017, 07:19:30 AM
I was wondering which current or soon to be created crypto has the best network for the creation of multiple assets/tokens that can be easily tradeable? Preferably with a decentralised exchange or an easy to establish exchange with api for a external program to layer onto?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Costs to get listed on an exchange on: May 14, 2017, 09:59:57 AM
Does anyone have a list of how much it costs(approx) to get listed on each one of the exchanges floating around somewhere?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Contest] Cash 4 Caps Monthly Logo contest! 2500 Cap (~$115)! on: July 04, 2014, 05:51:21 AM
            Cash 4 Caps Contest
*
To coincide with the new launch of Bottle caps 2.1 today there will be a monthly contest for the most artistic designed Bottle Cap logo submitted for Cash 4 Caps. This design will then go on to be produced as a limited run physical bottle cap with a CAP address attached to it and the private key underneath the bottle cap. Usually the monthly prize is around 1000 CAP but to celebrate the new launch of the Bottle caps fork on the 4th of July(in less than 4 hours!), Cash 4 Caps is giving away 2500 CAP to the most artistic designed Cap logo! That's well over $100!

For more information on Cash 4 Caps and cast a vote on the new founders cap please check out this link below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672113.msg7613494

*The above image is just a placeholder, check out the above link and vote for many other designs in our first poll!

Here are the requirements and can be changed at any time.

1. Check out base cap colors to make good use of transparency at www.bottlemark.com.
2. The design will have to include something that makes each cap unique in a limited run batch(ie numbers, specified change of a color, limited edition ect). The winner will also submit a design without this to be used in the client/splash screen of bottle caps.
3. Please be as artistic and creative as possible. Unique designs will be ranked higher.
4. Adding something Bottlecap(CAP) related even if its small is a nice touch but not required.
5. Cash 4 Caps receives the original artwork (PSD or the format of your program)
6. Cash 4 Caps reserves the right to use and modify the design for production purposes.
7. Once selected this logo will go into production and be produced in the form of a limited edition bottle cap.
8. If no suitable entry is found for the month the contest will be submitted on freelancer.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Introducing Cash 4 Caps real life bottle caps transferable for CAP! on: July 01, 2014, 05:40:05 AM
Hey Guys,

My names Jamesco and I want to introduce a new service I am starting called cash 4 caps. This is basically a way to allow members of the community to buy limited run/editions of real life bottlecaps which are redeemable for Bottlecap(CAP) addresses. This will be done by using a holographic tamper proof seal to contain a private key under a bottle-cap which is linked to a wallet. The aim of this is to attract a level of artistic talent to the Cap community and provide a Cap-->cold storage service. I am also hoping to be able to get some artistic Cap designs added to the CAP community.

There will be an ongoing monthly competitions held for the most artistic designed bottlecap logo. Once selected this design will go into production in a limited batch and sold to the community. There will be a 500-1000 Cap reward for the winner of the best design each month (edit: The first one will start at 2000 Cap reward!). The first competition will start on July 4th to coincide with the Cap 200% POS relaunch which we all are looking forward too.

That's about it I will have more information as soon I get it along with sample designs, pictures and polls to vote on your favorite designs! Any questions or ideas please don't hesitate to send them to me or post them below!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ROI on gridseeds? really? on: April 17, 2014, 10:55:01 PM
Just wanting opinions of grid seeds and their ROI? Assuming you could get them for their cheapest price of $95-100. Considering extreme luck you could receive them in about 1-2 weeks. Could you see ROI on them? What calculations would you be using?New Asics coming out soon, does this ruin most ROI predictions?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is the acceptable level of premine for bounties? on: April 17, 2014, 07:07:11 PM
Just wondering when a new coin launches, how much of a premine is acceptable(by most of the community) if all the funds are going into development (meaning bounties and community?) Is any level acceptable?

5-3%? 1%? 0.5%?

0%?

If its as transparent as possible is it a small pre-mine generally accepted?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Btc Deposits/Non existent support caution btcltc.com on: April 09, 2014, 03:40:33 AM

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do upcoming Asics mean for Alt currency on: February 19, 2014, 07:57:07 AM
Hey guys,

I know its a bit of speculation but in the coming months there is going to be a lot more scrypt asics. What does this mean for the price of the average coin? Does it mean the market will be flooded with cheaper coins? Assuming things stay static and BTC doesnt rise heavily, does this mean we could see a drop in the value of most coins? I understand current scrypt asics dont have that big of an impact but assuming they become cheaper and more available will this affect the price much?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Any Scrypt ASIC miners not based on GC3355 Chip? on: February 13, 2014, 01:30:29 PM
Hey guys,

I'm just curious if their are any script ASICs out or in development that do not use the GC3355 chip specifically? Does any know of any new chips that are in development that can work on script mining but are not based of this chip?

Cheers

Jamesco
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Moving To China, Looking for some contacts :) on: February 13, 2014, 11:18:54 AM
Hey guys,

I'm an Australian that will be moving to mainland China in the next week. I was hoping to make some contacts with any groups/people who are interested in alternative currencies, trading and mining. I am especially interested in making contacts with anyone involved in current or new asic script mining projects.

I will also be very interested in helping connect any parts of the Chinese market to the worldwide english market as I already have contacts in the U.S, England, Australia and always looking to meet more people and business's. The only thing I need now is to get some Chinese contacts and I thought Bitcointalk might a place to start.

Anyone interested in getting in contact please don't hesitate to send me a pm.

Regards,
Jamesco
13  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / 7990 PCI-E VGA Card $550 new, good deal or not? on: February 12, 2014, 03:22:11 PM
I just found a shop that is clearing out old stock, I have not built a mining system yet but have the opportunity to pick up a number of these cards at $550 a pop( potentially less if I buy multiples). Is this a decent price for setting up my first mining rig? Or should I stay away from these older cards and get something like the newer 290x's?

edit: its the Gigabyte GV-R799D5-6GD-B 6G  Model
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / World coin at all-time new low on: February 05, 2014, 01:28:45 AM
WDC is trading at quite a low price, is there any reason for this?

Should I buy in now or is there still a good chance I could get in even lower?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I have $1700 USD Make me up a Portfoilo! on: January 31, 2014, 06:16:39 AM
I have $1700 to invest in alts and have been doing a lot of my own research. I was interested in getting some of your opinions on what would make up a nice balanced portfolio. I am not talking about an omg so much doge type portfolio but a genuine medium risk medium term balanced portfolio of alt coins. Would be great to hear some of your ideas.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / NRB in a mini bubble will Crash hard on: December 12, 2013, 06:35:52 AM
Hey guys,

New account here but really wanted to post to give a quick warning. NRB/BTC has seen a huge rise just recently from 0.0008 to about currently 0.002500( i think I got the zeroes right). This is a mini bubble that will crash very suddenly so to any new people I would sell off when you can. What happened is because cryptsy's system had quiet a large lag spike. This meant a lot of people sold off multiple times and as the system caught up it put trades through multiple times. This lead to many people becoming in the negative for NRB. People then to try and cover their loses asap as you cannot trade out on crypsty when you are in the in the negative. People bought up NRB to cover their losses(even though this isn't really their fault). This probably combined with interest from a sudden rise when all other coins are down.

Long story short NRB is in a fake bubble not(only) because of sudden interest again BUT this topped with a huge potential backlog of people running NEGATIVE NRB account balances on Cryptsy. I would advise to sell out when you can. Either miners dumping or eventually Cryptsy reversing negative account balances will push the price back down.

I could be wrong but I just wanted to make sure any newbies trying to ride an upward wave might see it crash very hard soon.

Cheers
