3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / There is such a thing as Asic miner for Ethereum? on: March 13, 2018, 09:52:21 PM
Hello all,
I received a message in the whatsapp group that shows a new asic miner for ethereum that outputs 1.6GB and take 1200W..
So I went to the website and I started to suspect that there was no demonstration of the machine at work and that the image
looked like another product on the market and last they only get a crypto...  Undecided

The website is: ethmine dot ws

I'd love to hear the opinion of others on the subject before I might be stung.

Thanks
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Cryptopia disappeared just before the coin split on: March 12, 2018, 04:45:27 PM
Hello all,
It might have already talked about this issue lot,
but it's important for me to say my opinion and maybe I'll prevent anyone new from this trouble.

I heard from a friend that there was going to be a split into Monero coin and I decided to buy a little.
I go to my Cryptopia account And I sell some Bitcoin to buy Monero and ask to withdrawal the monero to my wallet.
I get the mail and approval and everything looks fine, So far a simple action...
It was a week and a half ago!

After two days I turn to their support and do not receive a reply for more than 48 hours and after 3 days that no one answers my ticket and they close the ticket and claim in automatic response that they are in a load of withdrawals and support...(Some lie).
Let's say that they have a overload on support... but why close the client ticket?
So I open a new ticket to support And a few more days pass with no response or comment from Cryptopia.

This is not the first time I have exchanged coins with them.
So I came to the conclusion that they will not release my Monero until after the split.
I think Cryptopia are scammers that use people money And their goal is to prevent the customer from earning.

They advertise themselves as a stock exchange but operate as a casino.

I'd love to hear another opinion and hope I might have helped someone.

Have a good day.
