61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Something to consider when selling your BTC... on: February 20, 2021, 08:15:09 PM
The number of companies and institutions owning BTC will get larger and larger and the number of people holding a nice amount of BTC will get smaller and smaller.

In other words do not give everything to the big whales and try to remain in this select club because once you do it you may not be able to take them back. You may think you can but most probably you won't.

The last BTC will be mined in 2140. This coin is here to stay for you and your kids and your grandsons. Don't get too emotional by the price fluctuations, don't have weak hands and never get greedy Smiley
62  Economy / Speculation / BTC to $100K is inevitable on: February 20, 2021, 04:01:56 PM
Why? Because the way the world goes, people will want to see BTC at $100K. And after that, they will want to see BTC at $1M.

BTC is the future, gold is the past.

It's all possible folks.

I'm a HODLer since 2013 and haven't sold a bit. If I can do it you can do it too Smiley

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 04, 2021, 09:31:35 AM
"No highs, no lows, only Doge"

"Dogecoin is the people’s crypto"

This guy is only playing with you and the markets. It's all fun for him, he's just trolling.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / e-gold founder Douglas Jackson: His view on Bitcoin in 10 years on: January 30, 2021, 10:07:37 AM
"What do you think will be the role of Bitcoin in 10 years from now?

That of tulips, minus the decorative and commercial value of tulips, with a lot of blockchain engineers, consultants, attorneys, pundits and VCs seeking to find euphemisms to move that part of their resume into the memory hole."

I will let you comment but is he doing the banks game now that e-gold is long time busted?  Grin
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC double spend? Oooh... heavy one - What's the impact on BTC? on: January 21, 2021, 12:15:26 PM

67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / May 7th, 2140 on: January 14, 2021, 02:26:53 PM
Last BTC will be mined on May 7th, 2140

What else reason do you need to know that BTC is the future?

I imagine 1 BTC might value then 50-100 Millions a coin, looking at the USD inflation rate.

You might say that's too far away, but 1M a coin is something you can see in your lifetime.

With BTC you have to think think medium to long term.

Short-term thinking is your worst choice, don't have weak hands, you will regret later for cashing "pennies" now.

69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Banks hope to issue their own "bitcoins" to fight BTC on: January 14, 2021, 11:46:07 AM
What a dumb move. Honestly who would care about their digital money since they are the same thing as their currencies? Dreamers. The race is already won.

Will share my merit points with you on this thread if I like what you're sayin' Cheesy
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Alt Exchanges - Verification Process? on: January 12, 2021, 03:30:52 PM
I see there are still some small and shady ones out there. Or at least very small in volume.

How's the verification process for them?

I'm asking because I've been away for some years and I remember the times when you could open an exchange account in 5 minutes and start trading.

Are those times long gone now with the big guys?

Thanks.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My only BTC regret is this one on: January 12, 2021, 02:56:48 PM
I first found out about it only in 2013! And I'm an avid internet user. However, I still don't get it how I missed the first train. On the other hand, many people who found about it in 2009 might have said "what's this joke, not interested".

I haven't missed the 2013 train, only the 2009 one to clarify.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I'm back and ready for action :) on: January 12, 2021, 01:10:02 PM
Hello, I've been away for a few years and now I'm looking at the alt coin market...
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I'm back on: January 12, 2021, 01:06:28 PM
After a few years of pause I'm back. I'm a HODLER so can't expect too much changes but anyway, I thought I'd check around. Maybe try some alt coins? Smiley
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Disappointed! on: December 24, 2017, 02:23:58 PM
For the first time I'm really disappointed by the cryptos... being a supporter myself.
McAffee makes a Twitter post that Reddcoin is such a great coin  (yeah sure) and it doubles in value... what is this, the new celebrity pumping method?
Markets are so easy being manipulated right now... almost outrageous, no wonder many people think cryptos are pure scam  Undecided
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ETH or LTC in the long run? on: December 18, 2017, 04:50:14 PM

77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / This is why BTC will never fail, easy peasy! on: December 15, 2017, 07:04:37 PM
It's mining will end in 2140. Of course none of us will be around then but:

DO YOU THINK IT WILL EVER REACH A LOW LEVEL CONSIDERING THIS HUGE TIME SPAN ?

Has gold ever become cheap for the masses?

BTC is here to stay and I think it will surpass $100,000 in max. 2 years, after that sky is the limit, I dare to say it will head to the million because this is also a psychological thing.

If you own at least 1 BTC
at this moment of writing, you will be settled, just wait a few more years.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin to $100,000 is no longer an impossible dream... on: December 07, 2017, 03:20:09 PM
We're getting there... a couple years folks at most - be patient do not sell to the big whales, few people will ever own 1 BTC  - I personally think it will pass $500,000 in the next 5 years but that's just my personal opinion, no speculation here!
79  Economy / Speculation / If you still think BTC will never reach $50,000 ... on: November 26, 2017, 05:47:12 PM
... maybe it's time for you to reconsider it  Wink
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 12, 2017, 07:32:36 PM
Just saying... BTC is the real thing and will remain... you know it right?

So act wisely and don't fall for this trap: btw don't miss the chance to sell you BCH to get more Bitcoins - I'm sure we will have a bigger pump by Christmas Wink
