1  Economy / Services / [FREE] Node hosting on: January 17, 2018, 09:50:33 PM
Hi guys,

Looking for a new and interesting project to contribute to. So I offer hosting three nodes for an upcoming project. Nodes can be used for distributing a blockchain, downloading wallets, use as explorers, webservers, stuff like that.
I will host and monitor the nodes, maybe create some tooling if that is what you need.

So I hope I can help someone out that is starting with a new project. Just reply or PM if you are interested, and let me know how and why I should help your project!

Kind regards,

Bik
2  Economy / Services / Logo design competition - 50$ bounty! on: July 31, 2016, 03:27:13 PM
I'm looking for a low budget logo design for one of my clients. So I thought I'd open up a small competition here to give all designers a chance, and my client the best chance at a good logo. The bounty is set at 50 dollars, with its equivalent in BTC at the time off payout.

Small description of the business:
This is a service for people that are in debt, or close to getting there. Or people that are for some reason uncapable to tend to financial matters themselves. This business takes over the financial responsibility for a client and manages their payments, bills and contracts e.d.

The logo must consist of the following aspects/thematics:
  • A boat, the Ark of Noah to be more precise. For the ones not familiar with the bible, check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah%27s_Ark. The idea is that this Ark represents safety, new beginnings and protection.
  • The letters ARK must be in the logo, not necessarily inside the boat. These letters are an abbreviation of the companies name.
  • The company has the following 'subtitle' which is: Mentorschap & Beschermingsbewind.
This can be seen as the 'slogan'
  • Colors must be warm. So like brown, a dark shade of red etc.
  • Fonts are free to pick, would prefer ones that are available on webpages as well.

The design can be very simplistic, a handmade drawing off an Ark would do. Just make it nice and tidy. I will need different sizes of the logo, vector drawing would be a bonus.
Winner will be decided with the client, on the 2nd of August. see update below

So please leave your entries in a reply to this thread. You will be notified through PM if you are the winner.

Thanks in advance for your contribution! And I'm always open for questions and suggestions.

Regards,

Bik

IMPORTANT UPDATE:Due to the fact that I cannot get the escrow in place before competition end, and the fact that a lot of people will only compete with a proper escrow in place, I will extend the competition until the 9th of August (1 week). This will be the first and last extension of the time span.

Hi all,

I'm the administrator of a few webprojects and they have had disappointing results lately. This results in some redundant web resources. So I thought I might share this with you guys. If you are looking to take the load of your web-servers a little, I can host files for you.

To make this accessible to all, there are a few rules:
- Not more than 1 GB of disk space per file/person
- Each file will be available for a month maximum, then a new round will begin
- Everyone who wants a piece can PM me. First come, First served
- NO copyright material and no child pornography, you will be reported to the proper authorities. Apart from that, no questions asked.
- Completely free

Reservations can be made. This can be done at the cost of 0.05BTC/month. This to compensate me in the cost of the resources, and the handling of the administration.

While it is free. Some donations are always appreciated Smiley

So if you are interested, please PM me with the details of your files. After uploading, the direct download link will be provided to you.

Hi all,

I'm Bik and I've been active for quite some time at this forum. I'm offering my services as a PHP & MySQL developer. I mostly do modifications of scripts for people that run into trouble and do not know how to fix them.

What I've done so far:
- Fixing MySQL load issues of faucets on CPU of user's host
- Reviewing PHP code checking for security issues/backdoors
- Initialized faucets/betting mechanisms

And I'm looking to do more!

If you have any work that needs to be done, or just some questions, feel free to PM me or leave a reply.

I got some people on this forum who can be used as a reference. And to increase trust/ security I'll be happy to use
escrow services.

I'm looking forward to hear some proposals and do some business!

Regards,

Bik

6  Economy / Services / [Service] Front end web development and/or modifications on: January 13, 2014, 09:54:57 AM
Hey all,

I hereby would like to offer my services as an front-end web developer. I've been doing this
for a while now and I'm transferring from doing work for friends and family to a wider audience.
I have several things to offer.

First of all, front end web design/development:
- I can design and create a website for you, your business or your forum/portal.
- This is all fully customisable and I will work in close contact with you.
- All payments are accepted in Euro, USD and BTC/LTC.

I offer modifications for existing websites as well:
- Modifications and/or improvements of your (company/community) website.
- Modifications of mining clients (for example the one powered by MPOS).
- All payments are accepted in Euro, USD and BTC/LTC.

Also, I sell templates*:
- Don't feel like waiting on anyone to finish your design? With a template you're
website will be up in a day.
- Completely coded in HTML and CSS, for fast loading times and a lot of customization
  options.
- All payments are accepted in Euro, USD and BTC/LTC

There are many more features that I can offer, so please use your imagination. As there
are a lot of starters here, the prices will be reasonable and in proportion to the time
it costs me to create your desired design/modification. The prices will be agreed upon in
advance.

I'm looking forward to hear from you, and maybe work with some of you on a project. A PM on this forum will
do, I'll give you further information through a PM.
For questions regarding the services, please leave a reply here.

Kind regards,

Bik

* Please note that templates require some basic understanding of HTML/CSS as they are not ported to a CMS (Content Management System.)
I will be happy to port them for you, but this is not included in the price. The templates that you buy will become the property of you or
your company, the same design will no longer be up for sale.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ASIC Block erupter help needed. on: January 10, 2014, 02:48:54 PM
hey all,

I recently bought an ASIC Block Erupter (yeah I know, might not be profitable anymore, thats not the point.)
When I try to set it up using CGMiner it gives me an error stating that I need to install a WINusb driver. I already downloaded
and installed the needed drivers. Adding command like -S//./COM5 are not working.

I've tried to follow several tutorials online, havent found the answer though.... Anyone have any suggestions or tips
on what I could be doing wrong?

Any help is greatly apreciated!

Regards,

Bik
8  Other / Meta / The waiting time between posts on: January 10, 2014, 12:28:44 PM
Hey al,

First of all, I assume this topic is already out there somewhere, but still I would like to address this issue to you.
I'm relatively new to the forum, meaning I have a low post-count. So after every post I make I have to wait for
6 minutes to post again (360 seconds). For me, as I'm used to engage in multiple conversations at once, this is really
annoying.
I know the administrators of this forum probably do this on purpose, to avoid spamming and other malicious use
of the forum. I totally get this, as this is always a huge challenge for the administrators.
Still, I would like the waiting time to be lowered, as it significantly reduces the satisfaction for normal users.
Even halving the time would be a huge improvement, while the forum still stays unattractive to spammers.

I'm hoping you will take this into consideration.

Kind regards,

Bik
(Posting after, of course, the mandatory 360 seconds Wink)
9  Economy / Services / Translating and Language Services on: January 09, 2014, 11:40:02 AM
Hey all,

I would like to offer my language skills to you. In exchange for a small amount of
crypto, I'm willing to translate any English to Dutch or the opposite. Or will I update
the contents or your website to grammatical accuracy.

It may not seem like much, but it is the foundation or a solid website or support
site.

PM me if you would like any help.

Regards,

Bik
