Have any of you made great parlay bets in the past? I would love to know what it was! Do you have any current Parlay bets being wagered that you would be open to sharing?

There are so many great crypto coin makers and collectibles out there and we are seeing some great advancements in the space as far as getting more public visability for example the Stacks Bowers crypto auctions, the Heritage auctions coming up this month, NGC now grading crypto tokens?, PCGS grading crypto, ICG + ANACS grading them, and soon CAC to follow suit? (New to encapsulating but generally a grading verification company).
We have seen a tremendous year sofar in 2023 with some beautiful drops and developments.I would love to see is everyones favorite collectible/s from this year so far in the comments section. What is your favorite new add to your collection this year so far?

Does anyone here really utilize these online crypto casinos to place bets in bitcoin and have you had much luck with it? What have you found to give you the best odds in winning? Is there any skill involved in any of their games or is it all purely chance?

Does anyone have one of these laying around that they would be willing to part with? These were in gold, silver, and copper colors.
I really loved this artwork tbh, and the two conjined cards for this i just thought they were so cool for the "halving" cards.
I figure I better ask before everyone throws all of these out or cuts them in half or whatever everyone has done with their old cold key stuff. What have you done with yours??
Will you keep yours? Will they be worth something someday? My guess is that if he was ever brought to justice maybe they would be worth something? That is debatable lol.

Anytime anything has a down market like this and for its first major bear market I always like to think that there is an opportunity afoot, or at least that there could be a chance it would go back up again in the future.
Certainly this could be a great gamble! But not as much if you focus on accumulation of some of the most popular NFTs that had great volume as well as price stability. I haven't even checked the markets reccently but I have just been having this thought today.
I have a prediction that the NFT market will go back up, some day maybe even up to what it was or perhaps even to new all time highs, and that if you do take a gamble with NFTs right now I think one day you could have a huge payout.
Which NFTs am I talking about? I have no idea, the market is so unpredictable but I would place a bet on it that one day the NFT markets will bounce back and I think there is a tremendous opportunity right now. Bored apes for sure right now or cyber punks are probably a great buy.....

I recently came across this article that talks about how much gambling is basically becoming a 'global health crisis' I found this very interesting because i've always known it was an addiction for some people, but I guess covid really sparked the gambling itch for so many people, and people in the industry have been able to manpulate the government in what would be seen as a conflict of interest to have more influence in law and government to help right the wrongs that they created and help bypass a lot of corporate responsibility. Here is the article: https://www.vice.com/en/article/88xvw3/gambling-industry-is-using-big-tobaccos-playbook-health-experts-warn?utm_campaign=later-linkinbio-motherboardvice&utm_content=later-38076005&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkin.bioHere are a few clips from the article that stood out to me: "The experts, who work at universities in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Tanzania, together published an editorial in the peer-reviewed journal Health Promotion International this month arguing that the gambling industry has become “one of the most innovative health-harming industries of recent times,” in part by operating “from a similar playbook” to the tobacco and alcohol industries. The experts say the development poses “widespread threats to global public health.” " "In the U.S., the popularity of online gambling has grown rapidly in recent years, fueled in large part by an aggressive lobbying campaign by the sports betting industry to legalize the practice across the country. As of 2023, sports betting is legal in more than 30 states around the country. The rise of online gambling in the U.S. and abroad has led to a rise in the number of young men grappling with gambling addiction, which can cause financial and psychological issues for both the gamblers and those around them. As many as half of people with a gambling addiction suffer with suicidal ideation, according to the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling. The “omnipresent” and loosely regulated barrage of gambling advertisements online and on television—often featuring a celebrity endorsement— have only helped to further normalize the industry to children at a young age, the authors state, adding that educational programs and treatment programs for children to learn about responsible gambling have even begun to be sponsored by the industry itself." If anyone on here is suffering from a gambling addiction and you are experiencing signs of self harm and feel that you cannot stop DO NOT BE SILENT! Seek the help of your family and friends, no matter how embarrassing you may feel. It could honestly save your life and save your well being. I just thought that this was really important to share. Good luck and be safe out there guys! TREAD

I'll take it back to a classic movie: Caddy Shack. At one point towards the end of the movie there is a huge wager placed on a round of golf between the two guys in this scene: https://youtu.be/FUDeGD-Qox4?si=HuN1YnHjQPuGc7o5 the caddies are all watching behind the bushes and they're placing some side bets on anything and everything. One of the bets was that the nephew of one of the players who was a goof ball would pick his nose and he did, they doubled down on it and said I bet you he eats it for double! And he did. I always chuckled at that scene, but it always made me wonder what other kind of ridiculous bets that other people make. Here is the scene: https://youtu.be/E-jlQS-Wuc0 Hope you all have a good laugh on this and if you haven't seen it watch the movie!

After reading the responses to my last post in this section I realize that there is merit to the current order of things here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466736.msg62842780#msg62842780 Keeping it OG is very important, while other changes suggested by others could perhaps seem necessary my recent suggestion is far from one that should ever be implemented. I realized how ridiculous I sounded after I went back and read what I wrote. One thing I realized after the fact is that the current comment layout helps to foster cumulative responses taking eveything said into account. If you want to keep up with this platform you have to be invested and sort through all of the commentary, this is something that is unique and also makes things more fun. Posts that pop up like social media with an algorithm are engineered as such exactly to monetize, the organic posting nature of this forum is so unique it would be a shame and probably cause people to leave because nobody likes change. Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...

Honestly can we make a push to bundle comments directed towards a certain side convo between users within a certain topic to stack directly underneath with a collapsible drop down that doesn't move the comments all the way to the last page? I feel like this system is due for an upgrade and could use some more social media like elements. ... Just watching that movie gave me such chills, my family and I lost our house we lost everything in 2008 when the housing market crashed. Honestly after living through it in the worst way you can see how I would be such an advocate for bitcoin. Many other folks didn't have to go though that, and so they don't quite understand. I couldn't hell but think how strangely similar the feeling back then how it almost feels like the same type of conditions for things to happen. I said it the other day whilst playing golf to my m8 that something big was brewing, I could just feel it. Could we be on the verge of some crazy market crashes like in 2008?

Picture a coin with an actual digital layer to it, almoat like a Google watch sort of device or something as the obverse. As a bonus this coin can tell time and have a time locking mechanism to unlock the funds to any finder once a certain date is reached. But it's made of pure silver or gold like an old pocket watch apart from the electric components and has the ability to produce a hologram of the public key. This can be achieved maybe with a black background and color image and an additional plastic component to create the hologram. This would also be a new take on the hologram, instead of the little shiny sticker it would be an actual projection, how sick would that be?! Just having some fun ideas here and wanted to concsptualize it, don't mind me lol

Now what?
I think this is good to know. For our heirs. We won't be here. Assuming somehow our coins make it that far into future generations. Man this is some crazy stuff to be thinking of. LOL
Can't wait to see the responses.
Cheers,

Satoshi went straught into it hustled to make the bitcoin blockchain, got a bunch of folks to help him, made it fool proof and then just was like welp okay I'm out, dueces. To never be heard from again, never even use any of their massive fortune, not a single lead as to where he is or what he is doing right now. What other world changing technology do you think they are working on right now? Something I have always been so curious of is what is Satoshi like? How did he grow up, did he have any siblings and what were his parents like (assuming it's just one person and a male as opposed go a group of people). It baffles me that someone could have such wealth and fortune and not even touch it for sooooo long. Could you imagine this forum shaking to its core if one of his wallets became active? That would he a sight to see. I know so many people go for Hal Finney being Satoshi which would make a lot of sense since that major fortune hasn't been touched and Hal has been passed for about as long now, but why on earth would Satoshi make the first person he sent btc to be himself if he was trying to keep his identity a secret lol. That's why I think thay can't be. If you ask me Satoshi is out there living among us living an every day life, probably no different than an average upper middle class citizen so that he can keep to himself and never have any suspicion following them. That's just my 2 cents

Are there any good XRP loaded crypto collectibles? Now would be a really great time to own some considering their recent W. If you know of any please drop a link or name them in the comments. I don't care about the crappy Chinese alloy coinage (but also won't mind seeing them just for fun) I want to see them with holograms for X amount of XRP etc. There has got to be like at least ONE cool XRP coin right??? If not yall seriously dogged on XRP so damn much enough to have people never make them lmao

Hi All,
I imagine this post might be met with a high degree of skepticism but like it or not these ordinals seem like they're going to exchange hands no matter what and we have an opportunity here to make a lot of SATs with just one sat!!! A popular sat. A cheeky buggar sat, eh?
I want to know what is the best website to trade ordinals NFTs as well as to get informed on what are the trending Ordinals right now on the market, up and coming airdrops that you may all know of. I would like to know what is the best wallet to use for this as well? Might as well play around with it. Who knows could end up getting some really good ones that increase in value for a short time enough to cash out and get your chips up, savvy?
Cheers,

I found it very odd that neither Trezor or Ledger were at B23 conference in Miami this year, especially after the FTX collapse. I've read many posts about the negative consumer sentiment on the ledger hardware wallets third party seed recovery service they have released over the past few months, they have trashed their hard earned reputation as the leading trusted hardware wallet and its despicable. Especially after their data dump a few years back on proprietary customer information including addresses, emails, and phone numbers, you would think they would try to keep their customers at bay instead of pulling this kind of ridiculous stunt. Apparently the Nano S is their ONLY device right now not exposed to this new update for the foreseeable future (Simply because of its lack of memory on the device) leaving any ledger wallet user in a difficult place. Trezor on the other hand has also been hacked a few times in the past, although I don't know much about the Trezor and if they're even still credible hardware wallets. What are Bitcoin users to do in terms of cold storage hardware wallet storage for their coins to secure them? I know multisig wallets are obviously the best case scenario, but don't have any experience with these wallets to date. Eletrum i've heard is great, i've also heard of CoinKite, and a few others. What is the best way right now to secure your coins?
