Bittrex, Coinone and Huobi..

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN]🚀BITCOMO| CPA NETWORK on Blockchain - FOR SMARTCONTRACT PROJECTS AND ICO🚀 on: October 10, 2017, 04:46:27 PM
____________________

BITCOMO is a first decentralized CPA (Cost Per Action) affiliate marketing network, with our technology stack supported by Blockchain.

The decentralized network connects advertisers and affiliates by caching and logging clicks, leads and basic statistical data, using a private BlockChain alternative TraceChain. TraceChain is an upgraded version of BlockChain concept letting big data packeges flow at speed of up to 500 000 QPS. Anybody would be able to put up a node and track a portion of clicks and leads go through or just add a node to download full clicks and leads transaction information for pure transparency between advertisers and affiliates.

For people buying BM on ICO it means increased liquidity as you would be able to sell your BM tokens in the shop directly to advertisers.
Post-ICO BM will be also tradable on exchanges.

3  Economy / Currency exchange / I buy BTC on: March 19, 2015, 05:39:38 AM
I buy BTC in cash and in person (Southern California). I pay 70% of the bitstamp value in person.
If you are not near Southern California and still would like to sell your BTC without having to go through a 3rd party website that can disappear overnight. You can send the BTC and I will Western Union you the cash. You can send small amounts to start with.

BTC: 17fdstJAuNGy2taJfDcfEPQAQn5AwuwVhw

PM me if interested.

Every few minutes lots of BTC is generated out of thin air and poured into the market. BTC value will continue to decline. Copycat coins will take over.
I predict BTC to trade below $80 by Jan 1st 2016. And I am usually right in my financial predictions.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What can I mine with my RIG these days? on: January 19, 2015, 07:11:35 AM
Hey guys,

I have a 2500kh/s RIG with four 280x cards in it, sitting in the closet collecting dust. I have not been on this forum for almost a year so my information is outdated. I was wondering if anyone knows what coins can I mine with this RIG right now that pays for electricity and maybe more?

Here is a list of all the coin types I can mine:

  • SHA-256
    Scrypt
    Scrypt-N
    X11
    X13
    Keccak
    Quark
    Groestl
    JHA
    Blake-256
    NeoScrypt
    Lyra2RE

Any help is appreciated.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hashrate Comparison on Scrypt-N, X11, Keccak, Quark, Groestl on: May 09, 2014, 06:54:52 AM
So I thought I start this thread to help GPU miners be able to SYNC their Coinwarz.com page with proper speeds. Since Scrypt mining is pretty much dead for GPU, I am hoping you all contribute to this page.

So lets start with a R9 280x:

  • Scrypt: 740 kh/s
  • Scrypt-N: 338 kh/s (thats the best I could get)
  • X11: ?
  • Keccak: ?
  • Quark: ?
  • Groestl: ?

Please help fill out the blanks!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why do we call these "DECENTRALIZED" when the developer is the GOD of the coin? on: April 06, 2014, 01:17:28 AM
Why? The developers have full, 100% control, or better yet, the OP who starts a thread on Bitcointalk and places a link to download wallet is in charge. OR if its a classy coin with a *.org website, the person who has access to upload files to the FTP then can change the wallet and upload a new QT that changes EVERYTHING about a coin. Hard fork it, even chain the blockchain to reroute old transactions that are "confirmed".

So can someone tell me WHY we call these "decentralized" when the dude with the password to the ftp site has 100% control?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 02, 2014, 06:46:52 PM
Hello Everyone, I wanted to solicit your opinion on whether I should shut down my RIG.

So I started Jan 1st, spent $1,500 on my 4x7970 RIG.

I started making 0.30 BTC avg. worth $30 minus $5 daily for electricity my net was  $25/day. (mining alt of course)

Well, I never sold any BTC so it was never realized profit, but by March 1st I had made 1.5 BTC.

Then March hit. Gridseeds flooded the (Chinese) market before ever making it to the rest of the world and profits sank for everyone else doing GPU mining. Scrypt-N showed up but coin developers were very slow in making hundreds of clones so those have not become profitable either.

So... profits for me are down to 0.012BTC day, (BTC is in the $440 range) making my profit worth $6 /day minus $5 in electricity and now I'm down to $1/day which is not worth the noise and the space it takes over and certainly more than what I lose on depreciation of the parts. My RIG as is is prbably worth $1,000 or less (it was worth $3,000 in Jan).

So as of tonight it seems like I need to shut down the RIG.

So I'm here asking any one of you who is in the same boat (anyone doing GPU probably is). What are you guys doing? What are you mining? What is your advise for me?

Thanks!

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why DOGECoin will go up 3000% again on: April 02, 2014, 04:56:27 AM
Dogecoin community raised $55,000 for Josh Wise and he will be driving a dogecoin wrapped car at NASCAR at the end of April or early May. So tons of doge were cashed out recently to pay for the car painting and sponsor the driver why explains the recent dro in price which creates a good opportunity of buy a ton with a few BTC. But once he gets on National TV, then doge will get tons of attention. 3,000% jump may be an under estimation. DOGE at 3000 Satoshi doesn't feel over valued. Disclaimer: I own 10,000 doge at the time of this writing.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / +1 if you think coin developers should only make ASIC resistant (NScrypt) on: March 24, 2014, 08:28:54 AM
This thread is for coin developers to know what the miners want. The ASIC Scrypt miners have pushed the profits so far down on GPU that it is soon going to become a war zone like BTC. GPUs are out of the game. And the game is actually going to die soon with people spending 10,000 on a piece of equipment that will never pay itself off, nevermind making a profit. The new coins are not being introduced as fast as the new hash power is being built so the ASICs have taken over.

type +1 as a reply to this thread if you think coin developers should only make ASIC resistant (NScrypt) coins from now on and GPU miners should all switch. No more Scrypt Litecoin based coins. Let the ASIC owners fight it out and increase the difficulty of all these coins to the moon and their profit to zero.  If you think instead of the pain in the neck vertminer nscrypt, the new standard should be a different one like SHA-2 or something please note that as well/
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 05:44:43 AM
Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation?

We are planning on a group WHALE profit party. Are you in?

Here is the plan, whoever is interested can PM me or post a link here. We are going to pick an altcoin that has been battered down and go in with a nice chunk of BTC min 0.1 each person. No one is going to buy it yet. We will all wait. The altcoin selected will not be posted here until the buying period starts. At a certain time, we will all start our buy orders and drive up the price by 2x o 3 x and bring in the whales. Once the price settles up high and buy orders build up, we can slowly unload and leave the altcoin up there. Remember, we will SLOWLY unload and let the whales take over.

So if you are interested, and have 0.1 min BTC to try this plan and can afford to risk it (either lose it or double it) then PM me and lets get the party started. The buying process will start Friday March 14th at 10pm PST. No one will know what the coin is until that moment.

This is serious business. Like musical chairs. You have to be there on time. You have to load up low and you have to start selling (not before or after) the group. And we all shall win. Except that one person, the WHALE dude.

Let see how many are interested to make some serious moola!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A message to mods: Premine % vs Premine "Time Scale" on: March 01, 2014, 01:06:50 AM
A message to mods about new coin posts. I see many coins are being posted with "only 1% premine" or similar wording. There is a big issue here that is not clarified.

What is equally (or even more) important is the "time" equal to that premine. Whats is that mean?

Ok so lets compared:

1) Coin 1. 1% Premine. Total coins X. Number of years to mine all coins 50 years.

2) Coin 2. 1% Premine. Total coins Y. Number of years to mine all coins 4 years.

Are these two coins the same?

NO

The first coin means the developer has over 50% of the coins for 182.50 days.
The second coin means the developer has over 50% of the coins for only 14.5 days.

So in case of the first coin the developers (and all those who they have bribed with the premined coins to like exchanges etc) have full control over the market for 12 times longer period of time than the first one!

This is particularly important because most coins have a life span of 2-3 months now before they completely become irrelevant.

So Mods, please enforce the Premine "TIME" in number of DAYS to be posted from now on on all [ANN] posts
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Whose got all this Bitcoin to dump? Three simple answers on: February 25, 2014, 07:30:49 AM
BTC is falling. Who has all this BTc to sell? Three Simple Answers, you guys tell me the others:

  • Tigerdirect
  • Overstock
  • Gyft

They are not Bitcoin believers, they are corporations, they just use BTC to sell more goods. Those BTC miners who would normally not bother to sell their BTC on Bitstamp and Coinbase, now have an easy way of getting an XBOX or a TV with it on Tigerdirect or Overstock.com so they go for it.

In fact Overstock must sell $1,000,000 worth of Bitcoins for the first month alone so it is all getting dumped on major exchanges:

http://www.techspot.com/news/55763-overstock-does-nearly-1-million-in-bitcoin-sales-in-first-month.html

No actual dollar amounts on TIGERDIRECT yet as they just started accepting it. One TD gets added to the million dollar BTC sellers, it will get worse.

And this trend will not end any time soon but will actually accelerate. Overstock will continue to sell BTC as miners go there to cash out for goods. More BTCs get mined daily and Overstock and TD will have to continue to sell more on the exchanges. They will not hold on to them because they still dont value BTC as a currency but some form of GOODs that has value and needs to be sold to pay rent and employees, well, unless they accepted BTC? huh? A currency needs a full cycle. BTC doesnt have that yet.

I sure hope no other retailer accepts BTC any time soon and in fact I hope TD and Overstock stop.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTF is this Exchange bribery culture??? on: February 24, 2014, 10:19:11 PM
So what is up with the new exchanges (or semi-future exchanges) and the culture of bribing? Here are a few examples constantly promoted (possibly by the site owners under several usernames they created themselves):

mintpal.com
cryptorush.in
allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php <- Not even an exchange!!)

The last one is not even an exchange. Its a FUTURE exchange (who knows if it will ever be) but is already asking you to pay them off to get your coin listed.

Voting for your coin to be listed is fine. PAYING FOR YOUR VOTE or extra vote is not.

I propose that these bribery sites be banned altogether from bitcointalk.org. Please show your support. This is probably one of the reasons why people on the bitcoin side think altcoins are full of scam artists.

From WIKIPEDIA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bribery
"Bribery is an act of giving money or gift giving that alters the behavior of the recipient. Bribery constitutes a crime and is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty."
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] Amazon Coin - Unlimited and 100% Premined! Only ONE WAY TRADING. on: February 21, 2014, 07:36:40 AM
I just wanted to start this thread so we can make fun of discuss Amazon's attempt to utilize people's confusion about digital currency and profit. So Amazon has made these "coins" that are basically "gift cards" you PAY REAL FIAT MONEY to buy and they have zero resale value. You can never ever sell them. Why The F would anyone buy these coins? Well stupid people are everywhere and they would.

There is no mining and there is no algorithm.

Very white paper. Such class. Many greed.

Amazon even made a Logo for it!!

Image used under copyright fair use.

Premine:

100% by Amazon!

Pools
None! Easy!

Exchanges
None.
Trading uses the latest Crypto technology that is ONE WAY. You can only BUY this coin but you cant SELL it. And there is only one place you can buy this and thats Amazon themselves. No exchanges. Have some coins and want to sell? sorry, You can only BUY this coin you can NEVER EVER sell it. This is just like a GIFT CARD but you can only buy apps with it.

Faucets
None

Promotions
Millions of Android phones automatically got updated to show this coin.

---

And you thought some crapcoin developers on bitcointalk are scammers? think again. What really gets me is the LOGO and creating confusion about digital currency. Amazon could've simply called these "gift cards" and not "coins" and not create logo like an altcoin.

Amazon, please reconsider this attempt. No so classy.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The demise of DOGE and how it is affecting our income on: February 14, 2014, 08:26:49 PM
So as of this morning, my 2.6MH/s RIG that used to produce avg $23/day has suddenly dropped to $13/day (based on Coinbase USD prices and me mining profitable coins shown on coinwarz and actively switching between the top coins). I am struggling to find coins that are not on coinwarz to I can mine those and be safe from the crowd impact but they are becoming harder to find. SMC, LEAF, DOGE, DGB were my favorites with all constantly returning $23 avg after electricity.

Are we feeling the impact of the DOGE community abandoning DOGE mining and pouring all over other coins? Just like the massive traffic around a sports stadium after a sold out game ends?

Can someone please make a popular coin so it fills hte void created by the DOGE demise? Contrary to what a lot of people think, it is great that we have new shitcoins come out every day otherwise the income from LITECOIN alone would've been negative already with the huge crowd doing Scrypt mining. In other words, please make shit coins like MOON and take away the hashing power so we can breath!

OR

Is this sudden increase in massive NET hash power overnight because of the flood of new AMD GPUs that are getting delivered, or becoming more in stock lately with tons more scheduled for delivery by the end of Feb at most online stores?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How are altcoins going to take over daily transactions if... on: February 13, 2014, 06:46:22 AM
How are altcoins going to take over daily transactions if it takes me 24 hours - 48 hours to send coins from my pool to Cryptsy.

So one day supposedly I can go in a store and pay with altcoins and buy icecream and pay? Or would it take 24 hours before I can leave the store?

This does not line up with the original thoughts Satoshi had on digital currency.

I am planning on purchasing 10 of these 290x cards, (right now Amazon is taking pre-orders for only $579 , usually 290x is in the $720 range, so I need to order these within the next 20 minutes!). I was hoping someone with more experience can help me understand if these are good option for moning Scrypt coins. I am planning on using 5 of these per motherboard with two 1000W + 850W PSUs per MB.

Why do Cryptocurrencies contribute to massive amount of electricity wasted and billions of BTU in heat generated?

Why couldnt the Crytp algorythem reward blocks based on easier things like time spent or better yet some form of human input that solves an actual problem like CAPTCHAs fix old books being scanned?

Let's not fool ourselves, we don't SOLVE any mathematical problems, we just submit random lottery tickets (called shares) and one gets the reward randomly. Since these tickets are FREE but take GPU power to generate then its up to you to buy more and more GPUs and send more and more and more tickets in hopes of betting a bigger number of reward blocks per day. Maybe if each share cost 1 Satoshi and that would go towards the next block then we wouldn't have ASICs taking over or GPUs heating up and still had a fair playground.

Was Satoshi interested in getting earth warmer? Or Oceans hotter to kill the fish? Or did he invest in Global Foundries? Did he invest in electrical companies? Did he invest in energy?

This sort of waste of billinos of watts of energy will probably go down in history as the most idiotic thing humans have done in the 21st Century. A simple change of logic couldnt swapped the random lottery winning system to a different one that doesn't reward those who throw more money at hardware and waste more of their local power grid (and their cash).

Couldn't coins just get rewarded based on a different system?
