Deepsum: a Novel Algorithm for Bitcoin Dice Roulette - Safe, Customizable and Profitable

Corresponding author: Idea Nakamoto (DeepOnion team). Email: forthelastwords@gmail.com

Abstract:

In this context, a novel progressive strategy of roulette, regarding the house edge redemption, is first time introduced by DeepOnion team. Geometric progression is alternated with arithmetic progression to guarantee a slower bet size increasing. Comparison between DeepSum and classical strategies is briefly discussed. As a key point, within the increasing size of bet to redeem for the house edge payment, the law of large numbers is the key to expect with a sufficiently long run, a final winning result is reached. The algorithm has several customizable factors with its code written in Lua programming language to run with Seuntjie Dicebot. Simulation tests were carried out and showed that the strategy can help players gain tens or hundreds of percentage of profit. This is the safest roulette strategy that ever known, as a present of DeepOnion team to the cryptocurrency community.

1. Introduction

Roulette gambling is a fantasy dream of the human history. Millions of people even sold their houses to play roulette with an illusion that they could win with large enough finance balances in long runs. But most of time, no one could do it. It was explained as the rule of house edge exhaust their pockets.

Many progressive strategies were introduced to make winners, including Martingale, D'Alembert, La Bouchere, Fibonacci, etc. But none of them could be safe enough for a long run. The profit rate is low, while the balance must be very large.

DeepSum is introduced here as the safest algorithm so far. DeepSum has several customizable factors. Many tests were run by simulation on Seuntjie Dicebot via Primedice server. Millions of bets were carried out successfully with steadily increasing balance.

2. DeepSum algorithm

Principle: instead of increasing bet size after each bet, which makes a differential geometric progression by bet, DeepSum runs a group of bets without increasing bet size. The number of bets in a group is abbreviated as "g" in the Seuntjie Dicebot Lua scrypt enclosed.

During the betting, if the balance increases as a positive profit is obtained, the bet is reset to initial value. Otherwise, after g bets, a sum of loss is added to the next bets, which means only a win then can bring back all the loss.

There are two reasons DeepSum is much safer than the classical Martigale:

- A large number g of bets statistically helps gainning probability of winning (say herein 50%) more safely than only a single bet.
- A sum of loss after g bets (arithmetic progression) can be statistically much smaller than an increasing bet value after every each bet in Martingale by geometric progression.

Although Fibonacci strategy is not based on a geometric progression, the increasing rate of bet size is also very tremendous. Similarly, although Labouchere strategy is a smarter arrangement of betting, using this strategy, one can quickly end up with a very large bet size exceeding the balance.

Comparing with D'Alembert strategy ,which is also based on arithmetic progression, DeepSum adjusts the house edge redemption after each group of g bets. With D'Alembert strategy, the increase of one unit of bet size after each bet will not be able to sufficiently redeem for the house edge payment when the size is accumulated that a house edge exceeds the unit increased.

DeepSum procedure explanation:

Step 1: Place a bet, say 1 unit. If win, reset the bet for the next bet.
Step 2: If lose, repeat the bet. The repeating is for g times. Once the profit is obtained, the bet is reset back to Step 1.
Step 3: After g bets, the bet size increases to be equal to all the previous loss (which includes house edge payment).
Step 4: looping from Step 1...

The betting is looped until a profit is obtained.

For an illustrative example (regardless house edge):

For an illustrative example (regardless house edge):
g = 10
1 (lose)
1 (lose)
1 (win)
1 (lose)
1 (lose)
1 (win)
1 (lose)
1 (lose)
1 (lose)
1 (win)
(Finish g bets, total loss = 4)
4 (lose)
4 (win)
4 (win) (reset)

If the probability of win is set 50%, a fallacy can make one expect that finally, the number of lose would approach the number of win and the bet size would not increase too high. When the number of wins exceeds the number of lose only 1 bet, the profit is obtained.

With customized factors, DeepSum can guarantee either high profit rate, or slow increasing bet size. In the Seuntjie Dicebot programming script enclosed with this context, the following factors can be manually input.

g: number of bets in a repeating group.
ratio: the number of divided bet unit from the balance.
timecount: the order of the current bet in a group g.
level: the number of group g that has stepped up so far.
houseedge: houseedge (%) of the roulette site.

The following values are monitored (in Console section of Seuntjie Dicebot)
levelmax: the highest levels in the history of the session.
bets: number of bets been placed of the session.
betmax: the highest bet size in the history of the session.
balancemax: the highest balance reached in the session.

3. The number "g"
Statistically, when the chance of win a bet is 50%, one can expect to get g/2 number of win and g/2 number of lose.

When g=100 and house edge =2%, statistically after 100 bets, the average losing is (100/2)×2%×Bet Unit = 1 Bet Unit. This implies that within 100 bets of the same level, if the number of win exceeds the number of lose only 1 bet, a positive profit is gained.

While a level is not enough for a positive gain, a larger g (than 100), the higher number of wins exceeding the lose must be. In contrast, the bet size in the next level is smaller. And vice versa.

4. Conclusion

DeepSum is tested on Seuntjie Dicebot at Primedice server for millions of bets. Tens or hundreds of percentage of profit were gained. However, risk of lose is certainly the contrast of profit. The customizeability of DeepSum is hoped to bring joy and discovery to bitcoin dice roulette players. And this is a present from DeepOnion team to the crypto-community as a message of "the coming big next thing"
The above context is only for its initial stage. Further versions of DeepSum can be discussed herein or via private contact with the author

https://www.huzlers.com/identity-of-bitcoins-mysterious-creator-satoshi-nakamoto-traced-back-to-kim-jong-un/

There are two men I feel very interested. First is Kim Jong Un and the other is Donald Trump.

Indeed, I admire Mr.Kim, who is very young but tyrant, smart, with a strong will. Fortunately for Korea (both South and North) to get such a genius man as the leader of the North. If he is my friend, I love it !

Anyway, it is believed that Jong Un "shee" is Satoshi Nakamoto  Roll Eyes

Identity of Bitcoin’s Mysterious Creator “Satoshi Nakamoto” Traced Back To Kim Jong-Un

NORTH KOREA – After years of experts attempting to identify the mysterious “Satoshi Nakamoto”, the name attributed to being the creator of Bitcoin in 2009, experts are sure they have finally managed to trace back the IP address of “Satoshi Nakamoto” to North Korea in the residence of Kim Jung-Un. It is believed that Kim Jong-Un’s Bitcoin creation was aided by his good friend and former NBA player a Dennis Rodman.

Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency that has captured the attention of millions of people worldwide, nearly reaching a whopping $20,000 per coin in december, was created in 2009 by “Satoshi Nakamoto”, nobody knows who he is or where he is from, or even a person, many suspected it was an Artficial intelligence. However, after years of investigated the blockchain, experts were able to trace the IP address of Satoshi Nakamoto to the country of North Korea, and ultimately Kim Jong-Un’s residency. Satoshi Nakamoto, being the creator of Bitcoin, was said to have 1 Million bitcoins to his name, equaling over 19 Billion USD as of December 2017, making him the 44th richest person on Earth.

Experts believe Kim Jong-Un created Bitcoin to fund North Korea’s nuclear program, primarily targeting Americans to invest in Bitcoin. It is believed that Bitcoins rise is the reason for North Korea’s alleged advanced nuclear arsenal.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Walmart is suggested to issue their cryptocurrency to get more customers on: November 13, 2018, 03:06:17 AM
Not only Walmart but also any company who want to incentivize people accept their new cryptocurrency. This scenario can bring so much benefit to them. Let's suppose WAM coin is the cryptocurrency issued by Walmart.

-----------

News on 2019-Jan, the 11th

On the 10th birthday of Satoshi Nakamoto's whitepaper about Bitcoin, a subpaper about cryptocurrencies written by Idea Nakamoto was sent to the CEO of Walmart.

The subpaper can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5064831.0

Finally, Walmart decided to issue their own blockchained-based WAM coin and run a giftdrop campaign for customers as bonus for their expense at Walmart.

For every bill of shopping at Walmart, a customer can recieve an amount of WAM equal to 1% of the total expense. The receipt is printed together with a WAM giftdrop paper wallet's private key(covered by void-label). The bonus WAM coins are sent to the giftdrop paper wallet through its public address.

Figure of Illustration: a DeepOnion paper wallet with Public Address to receive and Private Key to restore the whole control. DeepOnion is a POS ultimately private coin running on Tor network (darknet) with its unique multi-functions.

Figure of Illustration: the customers scratch out the void label to get the Private Key of the giftdrop paper wallet.

With this giftdrop campaign of Walmart, people without knowing anything about cryptocurrencies but can all possess WAM coins in their hands. As the result of this fact, ten thousands of people rushed to Wallmart to join the shopping WAM day.

---------------

News on 2019-Feb, the 11th

After only one month since the first giftdrop campaign of WAM coin issued by Walmart, Coin Marketcap's data shows that the daily volume of WAM coin increased 26 folds. This coin attracts millions of people around the world either to invest to WAM coin or to simply increase their expense at Walmart to get bonus WAM coin as giftdrop.

In the next plan of Walmart, WAM coin can be used as a direct payment medium at Walmart. There is still no clear answer for the question about the law issues on this plan. However, in a very short time, WAM coin became a phenomenon of making all kinds of people to learn about cryptocurrencies. The mooning of WAM coin is considered as the skyrocket ignition of a bullish market in 2019. WAM coin is now ranked the 11th position just after IOTA.

People talk about cryptocurrencies everywhere. Google Trend Data shows that the interest about cryptocurrencies increases incredibly in the last 3 weeks. And WAM is on the way to be the flagship of Q1 2019.

Thanks for your reading my dreaming writing of an imagined story. Anyway, this is a dream of practical and simple solution that I wish to contribute to the development of cryptocurrencies. Paperization of cryptocurrencies is surely a certain trend. Because cryptocurrencies will not just only exist online but also neccessarily offline. And the paper wallets are the vital answer.

PAPERIZATION OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES AS
GIFTDROPS: A SHORTCUT TO THE DAILY LIFE

Idea Nakamoto
(October 2018)
Email: forthelastwords@gmail.com

Abstract: In this context, the idea of actively using cryptocurrencies’ paper wallets via their private keys and public addresses is presented. Giftdrop is defined a physical way an amount of a cryptocurrency stored in a paper wallet is given to someone with its private key. It can be easily applied for a shop’s customers’ bonus program, lucky lottery programs, prepaid cards of apps running on tokens, etc., which makes cryptocurrencies more and more popular in the real life. Hereby, eventually, value exchanges can be done among people in forms of goods, fiats, and cryptocurrencies.

1.   Introduction

Decentralized cryptocurrencies are the revolution and innovation of the world’s finance. In these early years of cryptocurrencies, people find them an attractive way to trade or to speculate for future mega-profit. In contrast, the use of cryptocurrencies as an exchange medium in daily life is not so popular. It seems that the number of people, who really understand the concept of cryptocurrencies and are ready to accept them as alternatives for traditional centralized fiats, is still limited.

Since 2017, a wave of ICOs (Initial Coin Offering) has been seen world-wide. Tokens and new cryptocurrencies with new features, higher transaction speed and lower transaction fee, are created by thousands of teams and introduced to the community. A popular and effective way to incentivize people accept a new coin is running airdrop campaigns, through which the tokens are given to early conditionally registered members. However, this method effects only people who have already been familiar to cryptocurrencies. In facts, the extremely high volatility of cryptocurrency markets, the reputation of Ponzi schemes, the difficulty in understanding the new concepts of cryptocurrencies, etc. make the rest people have prejudice or doubt towards cryptocurrencies.

For an attempt to make cryptocurrencies more popular into the daily life, the utilization of their paper wallets is proposed. An amount of a cryptocurrency can be physically given to someone by being stored in a paper wallet with its private key revealed to the receiver. Hereby, anyone can get cryptocurrencies without knowing well how to deal with this new technology. With some utility apps or intermediate agents, the person can easily either exchange this amount of cryptocurrency for fiats and goods or accumulate the coins in his own corresponding wallet. Let’s call such paperization of cryptocurrencies “giftdrop”. And how giftdrops can be applied and become beneficial in the daily life is discussed in this paper.

2.   Cryptocurrencies’ paper wallets with public addresses and private keys

Many blockchain-based cryptocurrencies support paper wallets. A paper wallet is given in Fig. 1 for DeepOnion as an example [1]. The public address is the address of the wallet for the owner to receive cryptocurrency from senders, and the private key is used to restore the whole control of the wallet on a software wallet. Thus, the public address can be shared without limits while the private key needs to be kept private.

Figure 1. A DeepOnion paper wallet with its public address and private key.

Currently, paper wallets can be generated for free on some websites such as: walletgenerator.net, bitcoinpaperwallet.com, or discovermoin.com, etc. The combinations of tens of random characters make it available to create infinite paper wallets.

3. Paperization of cryptocurrencies as giftdrops

One does not need to understand or know well about cryptocurrencies when he receives a paper wallet containing an amount of its corresponding cryptocurrency. However, he can have the coins exchanged for fiat with someone who can check and withdraw the coins from the paper wallet. These followings examples will illustrate the usage of cryptocurrency paper wallets.

-   A company’s sale bonus campaign: a paper wallet with its private key containing some coins can be packed inside every product as a giftdrop bonus. The cryptocurrency can be issued by the company themselves and the giftdrop is working like an air-drop seen in an ICO. If the customer does not want to store the coins, he can exchange for fiat with a local agent. Otherwise, he can restore the wallet and get the coins accumulated in his account.

-   A lottery program: the players keep the private keys of paper wallets while the organizers keep the public addresses. The cryptocurrency will be sent to a picked up public key.

-   With cryptocurrency featuring smart contracts, a giftdrop can facilitate the sale program of a company. The company may not need to build a complicated customer profile management system.

-   People can give cryptocurrencies directly by email as giftdrop without asking the receiver register and open a wallet in advance.

Through giftdrops, cryptocurrencies will present more and more popular both off-line and online. Of course, cryptocurrency exchanges are still important. However, cryptocurrencies will not be only for trading and speculating but direct value storage to incentivize people learn more about them and find their applications in daily life.

4. Utility applications to facilitate giftdrops

Although a giftdrop campaign can be operated manually, the paperization of cryptocurrencies as described above can be done more easily and popularly with utility applications as proposed followings.

-   Client app: to help a person quickly restore whole control of the giftdrop paper wallet through its private key (by QR-Code scanning or directly text inputing). After that, all the coins can be automatically withdrawn and deposited to the owner’s main wallet.

-   Host app:
to deposit a given amount of cryptocurrency to a giftdrop paper wallet just by scanning the QR-code of its private key. Host app can be set to work automatically with a series of multi giftdrop wallets. This app can be useful to run a sale bonus or serial lottery program.

-   Giftdrop wallet generator: a number of paper wallets can be generated in series arranged in a template supporting mass printing so that the private keys can be printed confidential with void label covering while the corresponding public keys are revealed.

These three above application softwares are simple but very useful to let anyone can run his own giftdrop program.

5.   Conclusion

The paperization of cryptocurrencies enable anyone possess cryptocurrencies without knowing about the technology. The paper wallets containing corresponding cryptocurrencies can be used as physical mediums of value storage, which can find useful applications in the daily life. Some utility application ideas have been suggested. Cryptocurrency giftdrops with paper wallets promise to speed up the realization of cryptocurrencies.

6  Economy / Economics / Cryptocurrency is a revolution and an evolution of finance on: August 08, 2018, 08:24:33 AM
As a Vietnamese, I am first telling you a true story of our country's history.

In century XIII, Ho Dynasty overthrew the 200-year Tran Dynasty (who defeated Mongolian invasion 3 times). Tran Dynasty's remnants after failing defending turned to ask for help from China's Ming Dynasty. So the Chinese was invading Vietnam.
Ho Quy Ly, the Emperor of Ho Dynasty was quite aware of that and he prepared all ways to modernize the country so Vietnam could become strong quickly enough to fight with the Ming army. For military, he forced Vietnamese men to join the army, which was up to 1,000,000 soldiers. He ordered building battle ships, cannons, constructing citadels, digging battle canals ... etc. Vietnam was turning to an early state of industrialization somehow like what Japan did in Meiji era 300 hundreds years later then.

The most important thing was that for economy, he printed paper money.

Of course, the Vietnamese farmers did not like the way of changing to vigorously. They hated him, they hated the Ho Dynasty. And most of all, they could not accept paper money. They were used to silver and gold and metal coins for thousands of years.

Therefore, Ho Dynasty lost the country to Ming Army because people did not follow their leadership.

The history story above is illustrated excellently in this animation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8IJ9bvnitY

--------------

Anyway, what did I think through that history lesson ?

1/ The out-of-dates will always resist the new change. No matter the new is innovated and revolutionized, it will be always denied by the older generations.

2/ The people's power is the answer for the final result of the history. Ho Dynasty did have a powerful military and talented scholars. But they did not have the support of the people. So they lost.

3/ Revolution and evolution, which is better than the old time, soon or later will win the struggle. It can fail in short-term, but it is a certainty of new change in long-term.

----------------

What can we apply this lesson to Cryptocurrency ?

The governments have successfully educated their people to forget about gold-bullion standard . These days, they can print their money without limitation. This led the society to corruptions in all kinds of forms.
Decentralized finance is an evolution to replace for the centralized finance controlled by banks and governments.
Decentralized Finance or Cryptocurrencies bring the world to democratic and genuine economy where Demand-Supply is the rule of movement.
So surely to protect their benefit, powerful governments and bank institutions will struggle. Cryptocurrencies will not just appear and go to the real life  easily without their resistance. But this is the certain trend of the human being and soon or later will be the winner.

We are in the early days of a new era. This is a revolution, not only the story of fintech. Of course, the old will resist the new change. But the more it resists to cryptocurrencies vigorously, the more it is showing its fear and alarms of fading by time.

Cryptocurrency is the best bet that you can gamble with us in this life ! Losing a part of your saving money, or becoming the rich pioneers.

(Sorry for my poor English. English is not my mother tongue.)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Here is the scenario of cryptocurrency 2017-2018 on: June 13, 2018, 04:49:23 PM
As you may know, 2017 was a special year of cryptocurrencies. This is the first year of ICO - a type of crowd funding mainly based on Ethereum smart contracts, which we called ERC20 tokens.

Before then, Ethereum was like dozen of altcoins silently went beside Bitcoin. Blockchain-based cryptocurrencies had been there since 2009 for Bitcoin and 2014 for most of the other altcoins. But only Bitcoin mooned. The reason was that people did not find any other interesting application of those new type of value-exchange mediums when their communities and exchange platforms were not so popular.

But 2017 was a winding turn for cryptospace. Besides events of SEC, Winklevoss Twins, Japan's bitcoin adoption, CME ... etc... millions of people were attracted to ICOs, especially MLM - Ponzi scheme. All of this was ran for FOMO.

So I wish to say so many people who came to know cryptocurrencies in 2017 did not really understand about the brilliant technology behind them, which implies that they also do not care how potential cryptocurrencies could be in the real lives. They just cared only profit. A super profit that ran on MLM scheme.

Therefore, cryptocurrencies were in a bubble pumping eventually. It was different from the super uptrend of Bitcoin 2011-2014 when the crypto-people were not that many but had better knowledge on cryptocurrencies. However, that small bubble 2011-2014 also got collapsed after then as you know.

Coming to 2018, the cryptospace faced troubles from governments in the world. Thousands of Pyramid ICOs one by one fucked off. The merely-for-profit bulls day by day left the market. Bears came !

Weak hands and day traders are leaving the market. Strong hands stay. And surely, cryptospace need much better qualified people, not these annoying guys.

It will not be surprising at all when a super profit (BTC from 800 in the beginning of 2017 is now up to 6400 USD/BTC = 8000%) finally get an correction to be adjusted. If BTC is back to 2000 USD then, don't worry ! This is just a correction, a certain correction. Of course, I don't think it will be down to 2xxx USD . But God knows !

So the best for you is still what we wish to emphasize again 3 rules of joining cryptospace:

1/ This market volatility is super high. Never spend the money which you cannot afford loss. I can ensure you, in long terms of years, cryptocurrency prices will increase extremely much, out of our imagination. But no one can be sure about the short and medium terms (in months)

2/ Control your FOMO and FUD. What you do not sell is still in your hands so you lose nothing.

3/ The best investment is keeping your cryptocurrencies in personal wallets for secure. Keep well your pass phases, passwords, and authentication codes ... Then forget it for some years. Focus to earning money and fill your bags with Rule 1.

Anyway, this is my very personal opinion. FYR.

99% of us are just very ordinary people in this cryptospace. Think of the truth that the biggest holders of Bitcoin are keeping their coins so tight as the following article.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-09/bunkers-for-the-wealthy-are-said-to-hoard-10-billion-of-bitcoin

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is Infinium-8 (IFN8) ? Mining it is so easy ! on: May 25, 2018, 05:45:48 AM
Dear everyone,

I am a newbie using MinerGate to try mining some coins.
I found that Infinium-8 coin is so easy to mine. The mining rate is very fast. Within one day, I mined 10 coins.
But I cannot find information of this coin on CoinMarketCap or anywhere else.
So what is this ? Is this an unpublished coin created by MinerGate ? What do you think about its future ?
