1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Zeusminer impossible to solo mine on: July 17, 2014, 03:22:45 PM
i tried to setup solo mining of a fairly easy coin (Dnotes) but as with any solo mining you only see submitted shares when you actually find a block, the BFGminer thats modded for zeus compatibility starts but when it hasnt found a block for 60 seconds it disables the unit, so basically as it stands i cant find a way you could solo mine with a zeus, not unless youre super lucky and manage to find at least one block per second.

so does anyone know how to turn this very annoying feature off?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / easy cointerra hack fix on: June 17, 2014, 08:12:23 AM
a simple fix, i just dumped the emmc of a clean beaglebone, just dd or use win32diskimager to put it on an SD card and pop it in the beagle, by default itll boot from the SD so should avoid the hack completely, i dont have a hacked unit myself so i cant be 100% sure but it should work. heres the link:

3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Hacked Cointerra? i may have a fix on: June 09, 2014, 03:53:36 PM
i have what should be a simple fix for those suffering with a hacked cointerra, however my upload speed royally sucks so i thought id check if anyone actually wants/needs it before i bother upping it, its not exactly a difficult fix so many people have likely done it themselves or its already out there but someone mentioned to me that they had a hacked rig and couldnt fix it so i made it for them (sadly that was on the cointerra forum, which is now gone)
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Still no reply from all4btc. [scammers] on: January 04, 2014, 02:50:31 PM
ive got to make these million posts before i can post in the actual thread and complain somewhere they may listen (although i doubt it)

ive still had no response from all4btc, i even tried to phone them and all i get is a message saying that the number does not accept calls anymore so i think its safe to assume theyre on the scam. the site is still up and will take your coins so be warned DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM looks like theyve grinched out and were just running in Dec to rake in cash from people buying xmas gifts and such (thats a pretty scummy move right there)

of course maybe im wrong but ive yet to see any evidence to the contrary. ive also emailed bitpay to ask that they suspend or block all4btc's account so they cant harvest any more coins

again sorry that this is in the wrong section/thread/area where it wont get read but this rather crazy rule stops me posting directly in the thread it belongs in
5  Other / Beginners & Help / WARNING: all4btc scamming? dead? on: January 02, 2014, 05:17:15 PM
i couldnt post in the main thread as im new (sort of) so had to post it here, sorry

maybe im being too quick to judge here as ive bought things through them before so i thought it was a pretty safe bet but i think ive thrown some btcs on the fire, i wanted to get another card for mining scrypt having spotted some 280xs at a cracking price new on ebay i punched in the item number and paid, my payment was confirmed but the order wasnt, then stock ran out so obviously as it was now impossible for them to buy it i emailed them, as yet i have had no reply at all from them. like i say maybe i havent given them enough time to recover after the festive period but also if they were closed they should have shut the site really. having read the other thread (which i should have read before) it sounds like im not the only one in this boat

so essentially this is a warning more than anything, just my opinion, im not sure if others have had any successful purchases off them in the last few weeks or any contact at all but from my experience id say do not order anything from them until they have sorted something out (im getting one of those feelings though, dont think ill be seeing those btcs again)
