Hi all,
Sorry if this is not the correct forum but I haven't been around since DOGE's inception and didn't see a forum dedicated to NFTs.
So crypto is looking great right now but how about those NFTs? I am a bit blown away by the hashmasks project.
Does anyone know of any new projects launching? Is there a space on this board where I can look more into that? Maybe "Announcements?"
Thanks!

Can someone please tell me the difference between the two?
I have one of each and have been running the powered riser without plugging it in.
I don't know if this is good or bad or whether or not there is a huge difference. I appreciate any insight, thanks.

Hey,
I have a couple of rigs with 7950s and one with a 7990. The 7990 get 2-3% rejection rate and the 7950s get 15%+ This is both in CGminer and SGminer.
Is this normal? Is there a way I can positively affect this somehow?
Thanks a lot!

I have a rig with 3 Sapphire 7950s - brand new. SAPPHIRE 100352-3L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card 4GB RAM
Running cgminer 2.11.4 MSI Afterburner Beta
Current settings - best I've been able to run stable.
setx gpu_max_alloc_percent_100 setx gpu_use_sync_objects 1 cgminer.exe --scrypt -i 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192
(followed by correct pool settings)
When I increase the intensity beyond 13 it gives me hardware errors and inaccurate hashing power.
When I increase the thread concurrency, cgminer will start but the GPUs will be disabled and it says GPU 0 Faulure, disabling! Thread 1 being disabled Error -5: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue. (c1EnqueueNDRangeKernel)
It gives the same error message for GPU 1 as well.
Please help, with the current settings I'm not getting more than 300 khash/s per card.
Thank you!
EDIT: I think I found the problem. One of the RAM sticks wasn't in all the way!
Doh!
Thanks all!

Hey all,
I have a few mining rigs and am finding it increasingly tedious to move them from mining one coin to the next. I was wondering if someone could point me to some kind of tutorial where I could set up my own pool (or something) where I can change the settings once and point them all at the right target - instead of creating and executing separate .bat files for all of them when it's time to move on.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Might I suggest to interested miners out there that you check out the USDe . The USDe is interested in competing with fiat money one day. It shot up in value from around 150 to 450/550 satoshis yesterday and it's only 2 weeks old! The developers are very committed and the community is very involved and always expanding. USDe is currently listed on coinmarket.io if you want to check out some of the trading as well. Check out the thread I've linked to in my signature for giveaways, bounties, information, and contests! This is one of the most promising coins/communities I've run across here in the forums. Looks like the only way is up. Please if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here and I will try to find out the answers for you and/or check out the thread linked to below and find many answers there. Website: http://usd-e.com/Bitcointalk Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=410254Difficulty is still pretty low, now is the time to start mining!

So this activates all possible cores to mine. However, can I do this from every wallet console? I know it works with XPM coin but is it just XPM coin? I checked out this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260049.0 and wasn't sure how to apply it to the coin I wanted to test it on. For instance, what to put in the add node section. If it's possible to bypass all of that complication than I would much rather just type setgenerate true -1. Thanks!

Jhpminer is using CPU and cgiminer is using GPU - CPU gets 50 khash/s at best, so it should only lose that much from cgi when I start jhpminer, no? Well, I lose about 1000 khash/s instead.
Anyone know why? I'd like to run them both simultaneously. I was able to do with before when I was running cudaminer with a gtx 670 - not possible not with cgiminer and the amd 7990.
Thanks ahead of time!

Every site seems to have 5-10 nightmare stories accompanying it.
Which do you think is the safest, best site to use as an American?
I think I like BTC-E and Cryptsy (for all the currency it deals in) but I'm afraid to trust them.
Thanks!

So I just installed the card and am only getting around 200 khash/s with cgi miner versions both 3.2.2 and 3.7.2 The card freezes my computer at intensity 13 which was recommended by many sites so I've been running it at intensity 11. Here is the .bat file. cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://usa-1.liteguardian.com:3335 -u Sancho.1 -p x --intensity 11 --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 -d 0,1 -g 2 Can someone please help me out here? This card was a lot of money and I have no idea how to get it mining at capacity, which should be around 1100-1500 khash/s. Thank you so much ahead of time!

Hey all, I have been using the following site to estimate the chains per day (CPD) rate of various CPUs. http://anty.info/primecoin-hardware/I was wondering, are these numbers really accurate? I have an i7 3770 and it says I could be getting anywhere from .06 (CPD) to 2.0+ CPD. I am stuck at .06 - which is a MASSIVE difference from its apparent capabilities. I was really hoping someone could help me out here, in explaining (or pointing me in the right direction) how to get more CPD out of my CPU. Thank you so much ahead of time! It is greatly appreciated.

Hey all,
I was lucky enough to acquire an AMD 7990 which will be arriving tomorrow. I currently have a GeForce GTX 670.
I was wondering if it's possible for me to run the 7990 as the primary display driver and still keep the GTX 670 for mining only?
Is it as simple as plug and play? Or will there be more complicated steps I'll need to take to accomplish this? Or is it not possible at all? Keep in mind, I only want to use the older card for mining alone.
Thanks a lot!

Hey all, I'm completely new to all of this a week ago, trying to make a couple of bucks if at all possible but I'm just enjoying this as a hobby either way. I'm currently most interested in primecoin, I think. I managed to set up a server to mine for me (slowly) but I don't think it will be very profitable. My chief priority now is figuring out how to tune the primecoin high performance client to get my CPU to 1 chain per day or more. With my i7 3770 and the information in the following link, it seems I should be able to do this... but I have been so far unsuccessful. http://anty.info/primecoin-hardware/If anyone could help/point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
