2  Economy / Services / 3% off on Home Improvement on: April 19, 2013, 03:16:36 PM
So, this quarter my credit card is offering 5% off on Home Improvement stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace... etc), I don't have the spare cash to buy stuff for myself, and it really seems like a shame to waste the free money, so I'm offering it to you guys... minus a cut for myself, so, here it is, anything from a home improvement store, 3% off, up to 1500 dollars... doubt I'll use up the whole 1500, but I figure I'll throw that limit in here just incase someone's looking to buy hardware for a business or something, though I'd assume they'd have their own special store card for that...
3  Economy / Goods / $2 + shipping, 2 animal pictures in frame on: November 25, 2012, 08:44:15 PM

4  Economy / Currency exchange / WTT Bitcoins for MTGox Bitcoin Coupon on: July 30, 2012, 06:52:41 PM
I have 18.9536 Bitcoins on a MtGox coupon thingie, I've been trying unsuccessfully for about a week to get verified, that's taking too long, so I'm going to transfer to another exchange (at a loss), however, after buying back my Bitcoins, when trying to withdraw I get "invalid Bitcoin address" have reloaded the page, made sure there are no blank spaces, used multiple addresses, copied multiple times... /give up

Anyway, 18.9536 of your not MtGox Bitcoins for my MtGox Bitcoins
5  Economy / Services / Selling .5 BTC Pyramining bond on: July 10, 2012, 05:51:10 AM
So, I was kind of skeptical of Pyramining (not in trusting them, just wasn't sure that it was a wise investment)

I've decided that I was right, and was willing to just let the bond sit, but I figured hell, why not try to sell it, sooooo

One .5 Pyra bond with no referrals and wasn't built on a referral for .45 BTC, when this thing matures it will be worth .525 BTC, a 16% gain (if I didn't screw up the math)

Also, this bond is already 7% done
6  Economy / Goods / One time 50 dollar gift card (gone) on: July 07, 2012, 04:56:45 AM
*edit* this is now gone, I redeemed it for cash...

So, I just hit 50 dollars in rewards on my credit card, and would like to redeem it for bitcoins, I COULD have them cut a check, mail it to me, deposit it in my bank, send it to Dwolla, send it to an exchange and buy bitcoins, but I figure I can cut about... six of those steps out by just redeeming it for whatever gift card you want, 1:1 transfer (yes, I realize there are services that can offer up to a 20% discount, but I'm not doing this for a profit, and if it comes down to it, I'll just do the check method)

The list, note, most of the ones available in 50 dollar cards are also available in 2 25 dollar cards, there are about 6 that are not, I'm not sure which ones, but if you ask, I'll check, if you'd like you can get 2 25 dollar cards for different stores.

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / BAMT going into powersave mode/screen saver? on: June 14, 2012, 01:59:08 AM
I recently added a rig using BAMT, but after 10 or 20 minutes of happy mining, the system goes into a powersave mode, which... is bad for mining

With windows it was easy enough to disable, but not sure how to do it in linux, why isn't it disabled by default on BAMT? *shrug*
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin client not downloading new blocks on: May 15, 2012, 04:12:39 AM

10  Economy / Goods / Plane tickets (posting on behalf of a friend) on: January 13, 2012, 12:00:17 AM
Just straight copy pasting this from her Facebook status:

So, I have some plane tickets I need to get rid of before June, and I'm starting to think I won't be able to use them all ahead of time. You can fly anywhere Virgin America flies, so West Coast to East Coast and everywhere in between.

They're for Main Cabin Select, which means you get free drinks, free food, free movies, free checked bags, priority boarding, and more leg room. It's how I always travel. Normally, these tickets go for around $1060 RT, but I need to get rid of these tickets, so I'm asking $430.

Even if you are like, "Well I'm fine with just flying for less so I'll get the cheaper tickets." If you buy regular tickets, you'll pay $340. And if you check a bag, add another 50. So $390 for regular or $430 for a much better way to travel.

I have 3 available. Only restrictions is you can't fly Feb 17 or 20th, or May 28th. If you're thinking about flying in the next 6 months, BUY THESE OFF OF ME.

Adding a note: They're round trip tickets
11  Economy / Goods / WTB 2x HD5830 $75 USD a piece on: December 31, 2011, 10:20:54 PM
Looking to buy two 5830s for 75 a piece, the jackass I was buying from on failBay canceled with like 12 hrs to go Sad (how the fuck do you cancel an auction after you have bids, that shit ain't cool)
12  Economy / Goods / Red Faction: Armageddon + Guerrilla on: November 30, 2011, 09:31:15 PM
I know I was trying to sell these before, actually forgot I had them until just last night

2 copies of Armageddon (with DLC) and one copy of Guerrilla, I thoroughly enjoyed both titles, never finished the DLC though

Armageddon is 35 dollars, on Steam it's 57 dollars, so that's a 40ish percent discount

Guerrilla is 10 dollars, on Steam it's 20 dollars, 50% discount

Bitcoin price is 2.91 right now, so 12.027 BTC and 3.436 BTC (assuming no drastic change in price)
13  Economy / Goods / Red Faction games, 2 copies of Armageddon+DLC, 1 copy of Guerrilla on: October 19, 2011, 07:53:35 PM
I have two copies of RF:Arm+Path of War DLC and one copy of Guerrilla for sell, on Steam Armageddon+DLC is 56.98 USD and Guerrilla is 20 USD

I'm offering both at a discount, so my price is $40 in BTC, and Guerrilla is $10 in BTC, the price will be calculated at the time of the transfer

Post here or in PM if you're interested
14  Economy / Services / Powerleveling in WoW on: September 28, 2011, 02:05:18 AM
This is something kind of experimental I'm trying

I'm thinking of starting out at 12 USD (BTC equivalent of course!) per level, less for the lower levels, maybe 1.5 dollars per level from 1-10, 3 from 10-20, 6 from 20-30, 12 from 30-85

Only willing to take on one person at a time, I have work and school, so I'm not going to completely level your character for you in two or three days or anything

Nevermind, don't have the time for this
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Running Phoenix Miner with GUIminer on: August 29, 2011, 01:48:34 AM
So I've come to realize that RPC miner kind of sucks, and downloaded GUIminer which even with default settings was much better than my highest RPCminer stats (but still much lower than the ones listed on the hardware comparison chart), so I followed the steps in the tutorial to use Phoenix miner, but it wasn't there, so I downloaded Phoenix miner and tried to use it in GUIMiner, but got "Unsupported other miner phoenix.exe, only supported miners are <Lists the RPC miners>

What the heck am I doing wrong?

*edit* everything I had is sold
, can't delete the thread though, probably better that way
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Why no new information regarding MtGox? on: June 21, 2011, 03:33:01 AM
Why has there been no new information regarding MtGox's account restoration stuff opening? It was announced yesterday it'd open at 2AM GMT, it's now 3:30 and there hasn't been any word at all, even odder is the fact there's been no questions asked about it (other than people shouting AMG MT GOX IS RUNNING TO A REMOTE ISLAND WITH OUR MONEY)
19  Economy / Marketplace / Can MtGox funds be added during the weekend? on: June 17, 2011, 10:48:43 PM
I finally got my cash into Dwolla (started the transfer last Friday at 4 EST, so it was a full week and then some) anyway... was wondering if cash can be added to MtGox during the weekend? Cause if not I'll be really sad Sad
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Where's my wallet.dat in Mac OS X? on: June 12, 2011, 08:14:11 PM
Where is the wallet.dat stored? I want to know where it is supposed to be so I can make sure it's there, and I'm ready to receive coins before Thursday when I should have some money in MtGox
