4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / GetGems Gets Major Recognition by Coinbase!! Historical Achievement on: August 07, 2015, 02:11:53 PM
This is imo the biggest accomplishment of any Crypto besides Bitcoin. Even Litecoin which has been wishing for years for such recognition hasn't managed to do so. Coinbase published this to their 227.000 readers, mentions GetGems and even interviews its CEO.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / This stat is pretty shocking on: July 24, 2015, 12:33:41 AM
So i was looking for some iOS wallets and i can't believe from the 653 Cryptos on Coinmarketcap only 6 of them have their own dedicated iOS wallet which are Bitcoin, GetGems, Dogecoin, Counterparty, Guldencoin and Digibyte.

This is pretty absurd if you see how much the other coins advertise themselves for their coins to be actually spend, but they got no damn iOS wallet lol. Any other Crypto not mentioned? How are you supposed to spread the word if you don't have an iOS wallet, there are almost as many iOS devices as Android and around 2 billion people have a Smartphone. If you don't have an iOS wallet it shows you aren't capable enough or don't care much about getting users.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If you have a decent social network, see how easily you can earn Gems/Bitcoin on: April 02, 2015, 05:03:32 PM
You just share your unique url through the GetGems app (supports bitcoin) which is automatically attached to your username. You can share this url with your social network like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Viber, Telegram, Instagram, Snapchat etc. You can also put your unique url in your signature or any other site. 3 referrals gave me 75 Gems which is 4000 bits and i didn't have to do much really.

Once you click on referrals you can see which of your friends downloaded the app, the world first messenger app doing it in such easy way ladies and gentlemen, there is quack messenger with fiat but it's a fail you have to wait 30 to 90 days before you can cash out. Power of Crypto Grin

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do NOT buy ipo, ico, ito if the devs don't have a working beta ready on: November 14, 2014, 10:49:00 AM
In cases where they need to start developing after the sales, taking months people already will forgot about it and the price will continue to go down. Don't fall into the trap of fancy promises. You devs should have atleast some working beta of the concept ready. This should be a new rule imo.

14  Economy / Scam Accusations / digitalindustry aka kolin evans busted on planning a scam on: September 14, 2014, 10:59:01 AM
He mailed some quark core members to convince them to be a part of a scam of his. So it backfired as they didn't cooperate and publicized his scam attempt, they also banned him permanently from the quark subreddit.

Now that's not as hard as it sounds and its not as hard work.
This can be done in a number of ways.
What is the aim ?
To make us all 100%s of gains, and to have fun, then to optionally put some of that profit into a Quark reserve just because at this level QRK is much more likely to double than BTC.
So we can individually use as much or little capital as we have and as long as we work as a team it will work just fine.
*So whats the plan ? *
Anything and everything.
I propose we find beaten down "dead" currency and we use coders I know or anyone we know to undertake "revitalization".
we might find xxx coin.
We identify fundamental reasons why it's very low , they have to be fundamental and good I can do this but any one can identify them.
It must be beaten down and worthless % wise. I.e no one wants this junk.
We decide we are going take it on.
So we SLOWLY buy up this junk for say 3 satoshi For example or maybe it's 70 satoshi that all depends on the cap amount I can teach you this easily.
Then we hire our dev and pay him that same junk with the obvious profit that will be realized, which should cost is next to nothing . I'm talking a few LTC in some cases .
Then we " pimp that ride " .
We can :
- change the name - change the logo - even cut the currency reward - add spammy PoS ( people love it ) - cause a "Buzz" * *- get trolled even troll ourselves because that will generate interest.
Point is we don't want to take over the world we just want a few 100% gains .
Then we set a target and get back out realizing profit, which if we all do we should be able to easy enough.
That's just for beginnings , I can fill you in on a hilarious "master" plan that you guys willl definitely laugh at when you hear it.
But also apart from this we can make our own brand new currency , we can make X11 or Scrypt we can make the new Doge if you like all in the name of dumping that shit onto the market to make us money So are we getting the general jist?

there is so much volume - (as we trade back and forth with ourselves - ) and its being bid up so much ! (as we decide to bid it up)
no one can sell it because we own it all - now what happens Quark synergy has a massive market cap ! - this is amazing - ! how did it become so popular ?
this causes people to want to buy - and optional - you slowly sell out to them - that would be the last part of the scam -

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Quarktalk - Most popular Altcoin Faucet Forum on: September 10, 2014, 02:09:56 PM
http://quarktalk.cc/ Is a great way to keep the community active. You can see the amount of Crypto (Quark in this case) each member has earned by their contributions underneath their username; the more you contribute (post/get likes) the more you earn. Once a week there is a pay out to your address. 200 members have already signed up, i believe some other alts want to implement it as well.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Digitalindustry a Quark "supporter" got permanently banned from /r/Quarkcoin on: September 10, 2014, 10:40:08 AM
Most people have known him as a major Quark supporter, but it seems that he is not and the community doesn't want him involved at all but believes he is rather a troll, deceives people and actually is against the truly Quark supporters. So they decided to bann this goof.

You have been banned for 10 days from /r/Quarkcoin for ignoring mod warnings regarding your Threads, at the same time creating propaganda against legit Quark contributors and mods for a while now. This kind of attitude doesn't belong in the Quark subreddit. If this continues you will be banned for a longer period.

What a bunch of nonsense, didn't know i was working for debt money institutions. Nobody believes your lies, in fact your 10 days bann has been changed to permanent, the e-mail we have from you clearly shows how you want to set up a scam. The Quark community won't support sick minded people like you. You don't represent Quark since the majority knows your real intentions, keep posting in /r/buttcoin.

Good job
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / STOP THIS CHILDISH COIN BASHING FFS on: July 06, 2014, 11:25:42 AM
I know you want to protect your asset or what the fuck ever, but this is getting ridiculous! Hey OP isn't it time to put a damn sticky about this?

This place has become a damn troll fest, people screwing up others parade. How old are you guys anyway because it looks like the majority is a bunch of teenagers from 4chan.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why an anonymous feature for serious coins could be a disadvantage on: June 09, 2014, 12:10:21 PM
What's your opinion?

Apart from the possibility of regulatory issues, if the blockchain/transaction record is hidden, then groups of pool owners of large pools could potentially collude to double spend, and if there is no transaction record, then this will not be detectable. Other such scenarios exist as well - remember that the blockchain is a public ledger designed to prevent or record fraud. Hiding this exposes the coin to serious risks.
