I recently read [/] "An Order-of-Magnitude Estimate of the Relative Sustainability of the Bitcoin Network" , from Hass McCook . In this book , he made a detailed study about estimating the durability and cost of the Bitcoin network. He compares Bitcoin against the gold industry, the banking system and the production of physical currency. And , Bitcoin is by far the most energy efficient monetary system we have ever made ! Here are some numbers: Banking system: 23340 million GJ (energy consumed) + 390 million T of CO² Bitcoin mining: 3.6 million GJ (energy consumed) + 0.6 million T CO². I don't know yours opinions about that , but I'm really excited , I want that erveryone know that ! I know guys that it's really hard to delete these systems , and maybe not possible , I just think Bitcoin is the best system , and I just want to share my opinion , to touch a lot of people , and sensibilize them , it's important. Nowadays , a lot of people are still thinking that Bitcoin is a scam , " a bubble" , they don't know the technology , they speak before learning , they don't understand and don't want to understand. And I want to educate these people, it's my mission , and I sware iI will succeed : my goal is that people understand what is the potential of Bitcoin ! |

Hello guys !  I'm a member of BitcoinTalks since 3 weeks but I didn't really make a " new member introduction " , so here I am ! Well , I'm Martin, I'm 18 years old. I first heard about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in 2015 I guess .. so I read a lot , and I wanted to invest in ! But you know guys , I was like 16 , didn't have a lot of money , and my parents didn't want that I invest in  So I was still reading a lot about , a lot , and so I decided to invest in ! I made like a short presentation in front of my family , about Bitcoin , technology , what is a wallet , ... I made a power point and they were convinced ! So , in October 2017 , I invested 100$ !  But no 100$ in btc , 15$ in XLM , 15$ in LTC , 15$ in GOLEM , 15$ in XRP , 15$ in NEO and 15$ in XEM and 10$ in SIACOIN ! So in December 2017 , I had like 250-300$ , and I was really confident about Ripple , I knew that the price would pump a lot ! So I sold everything and bought a lot of XRP at 0.19$ , and sold ... 1 month later , at 1.20 $ Next , we all know guys , since January  But I'm Confident , and I still thinking that's just a cycle ! Don't worry guys ! Hello guys ! I'm going to write the main things you need to do to protect yours bitcoins & altcoins. First of all , let me advice you something: If you hold less than 1.5/2 BTC , do not buy a ledger wallet or others stuffs like that. For me , it's a lake of money , really.So , let me introduce you the differents ways to hold your cryptocurencies. (from the safest to the less safe) : - 1 : Ledger .
I won't introduce more Ledger , Google is your friend. - 2 : Mobile Application :

Really easy to use , and it's safe , with 2FA Authentificator , for example. - 3 : Desktop Wallet !
If you want to use it , just go on the website of your cryptocurrencies , and look for the desktop wallets !
For example , for bitcoin , electrum is really good !
Just do some research if you want to know !
Ps: Desktop Wallet could be safer than a mobile application if the computer isn't connected to internet ! (the goal of the computer is only to store cryptocurencies : no virus ! ) - 4: Exchanges :
The worst way to store yours cryptocurencies ... Store in exchanges , like Binance , ....
If you do that , PLEASE , follow this rules :
- Use a strong Password ! (symbols , nombers , letters )
- Use 2FA AUTHENTIFICATOR

So , why do they call Bitcoin a scam ? - Firstly , they say that for their reputation.
Imagine if they advise to invest in Bitcoin and btc will go down ... they will really ridiculous..
- And then , if they advise to invest , what would say Banks , ... ?
- Furthermore , they control banks and others Institutions , so if People invest in btc , they will loose power , for sure.
And as if they advise a thing , people will follow them , they can't.
Nevertheless , do not say that they don't understand this technology , they perfectly know. They have a lot of knwoledges , more thay anyone. And I'm pretty sure that one of them have a stock of BTC. Just remember that they are powerful , and full of knowledge , but bitcoin is dangerous for them , that's why they call it a scam , they are our enemies.

Hello guys ! I'm not gonna make a topic about the main qualities of neo , because you may know ... Yes , NEO is a huge project , that's certain.Here , I will approach the financial aspect. Indeed , you might know that when you hold NEO , you will have gas (dividend). Just to explain , if you have some NEO , you will receive some gas.
For example , if you keep yours neo in binance , you will receive gas each 2d day of the monthSo , here the main points : - Firstly , NEO should totally rise in the next few years , personnally , I see NEO at 400-500$ by 2021 ! But yes , it's speculation , I agree.
- Here , the best point , as I said , NEO gives you dividends (gas) , so , even if NEO rises just a bit (example : 30$ by 2021) , you'll earn dividends !
That will affect your ROI !
For example , Martin wants to invest in cryptocurrencies , he will invest in Litecoin , he has 5000$ to invest in , so he will have like 80 LTC.
Imagine that the price of LTC will rise , and will be like 500$ by LTC in 2021 , so Martin will have 40 000$. He will earn 40 000 - 5000 = 35 000$ .
But now , imagine that Martin invest in NEO , he will hold like 250Neo , so now , imagine that the NEO's price willl be like 150-200$ by 2021.
Martin will have like 40 000$.
But , each months , Martin will earn 3 gas (dividends), so in 3 years , he will have 108 gas.
The price of gas is currently at 5$ , so he will earn 500$ (approximately).
So in this case , Martin will earn 40 000$ + 500$
But now , imagine that the price of gas rise too , and will be like 40$ in 2021.
So now , Martin will have 40 000$ (NEO) and 4500$ (gas).
Here , we can really see the impact of NEO's dividend.
