Many members must have spread this countless time on this forum before, we need to keep doing this because of the new users joining this forum almost everyday, There are some do and don't that newbies need to avoid if they want to buy coins, this are few warnings from me
1. Beware of low marketcap coins, they are more profitable but less reliable, they can die real fast
2. Forget website designs and max supply, focus more on real use case (utility) than anything else
3. Make sure teams are really who they claim they are and make sure they have two or more knowledge about crypto
4. I prefer well know coins or project, it doesn't have to be old altcoins, for example Wazirx token, Tezos, Comp, Cartesi, these coins are popular and new but still popular
5. Stay away from projects that are listed on rubbish exchanges, these exchanges are token killers with wash trades and fake volumes, e.g p2pb2b, exmarket, latoken, vindax.
6. For trading lessons or try outs be more friendly with top exchanges, they have better interface, highest volumes and highest liquidity
7. You want to make profits and you don't want to wait too long? I suggest IEO, make sure you follow top exchanges social media groups to stay updated about new IEO, especially binance and kucoin, it's always profitable
8. The best time to buy bags of coins and tokens is when bear attack the market, do not buy coins and tokens when price is surging or pumping.
9. Check projects github, make sure it's active and well updated from time to time, you can easily spot bad projects through their github, some don't even have GitHub
10. Crypto investment is risky, always invest what you can afford to lose, we are all humans and we can never tell what will happen between a project team in future, anything can happen.
I hope this helps

There are many things I don't care about anymore in crypto projects
1. Algorithm 2. Max supply 3. Advisors 4. Analysts 5. Unknown or not popular partnerships
All these are just simply Hype creating shits, any projects that will attract me nowadays will do more than just these and again newbies should look into Utilities, big Partnerships and Top exchanges only, this is 2020 and lots of things have changed.
This is my eye opening advice since 2016

Is it just me thinking this way or there are other people on here thinking same way? Listed bounty campaigns are getting annoying this year, blockburn postponed payout to bounty hunters, Cartesi split payout into three phases and distribution starts after 30 days of listing.
Too exchange like binance for that matter, bounty allocation was damn low to begin with, I start promoting listed bounties this year because of 2019 tachyon protocol success that lay as a lesson to me but things aren't going as I thought. Harmony one did bounty year ago and I heard they distribute in batches too, price already go down before bounty hunters get their payouts, how is this any fair ?
Please drop your thoughts

The success of ICO lies in the hand of huge partnership support, huge investors and trust but since scammers canes around ICO trust was ruined but now what we have left is IEO, and I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%

How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this

I've heard enough about exchanges and my ears are full, if you aren't a scammer or a pump and dump dev this is for you, I'm going to list some exchanges on here right now
1. Vindax 2. Systemkoin 3. ChainX 4. P2PB2B 5. Latoken 6. Dobi 7. Hotbit 8. Yobit
The following 👆 exchanges are extremely dangerous for your new project, do you hear me? It's either you get scammed and ripped off of the little fund raised believe me you won't raise hardcap successful on themor you are fooled about the exact amount that was raised and never get paid still, either one will happen.
Secondly these exchanges have no reputations to care for, you paid for the IEO and listing and your tokens won't attract investors, it's better to find ways for better exchanges or don't bother to do anything at all until you are able to.
The last man standing (Fund raising) is IEO and the only way to come out with flying colors with IEO is going to top Exchanges, take my words seriously if you are a developer, many failed to listed as I pleaded with them because their projects have good use cases and they end up worthless in the end.
Investors are now started and trust only top Exchanges, if you are looking for better investors they are available only on top Exchanges, this is not only the benefits of top exchanges, more Volumes and better Liquidity.
You want to know what's going on in investors mind today? Here is the answer Bad projects lists on small exchanges do not blame them, even I have worst experience on these exchanges... Developers it's not bad to do your own research on exchanges too
Thank you

What would you do if you've been promoting a project for over a month and the bounty manager refused to update spreadsheet? After getting in touch with admin on telegram channel they keep saying no update from team yet, what will be the best decision if you are in my shoe?

Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.
1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them
2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too
3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

The quantity of Binance scammers on LinkedIn can in the end arrive at 1,605. Now imagine how big scammers are damaging crypto Full news here https://usethebitcoin.com/beware-of-crypto-scammers-1500-scammers-impersonate-binance-on-linkedin/

Try not to be beguiled, there is cash to be make in promoting bounty projects ,the individuals who make colossal cash will never express an announcement about it, don't leave since individuals reveal to you they aren't paying because i still find out today that many bounty hunters still don't know what they are doing when choosing projects to promote, they are still choosing projects blindly and don't depend on a solitary tasks either but the most important is not to get deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters cos they will always have bad news to share about bounties

Hi fellas i am back again to throw a question at you all, this time i want to know exactly what will happen to coins and tokens that are listed on exchanges with no volume or too low volume after market start recovering, or if altcoins start surging in value, will these exchanges automatically have volumes due to the market surge or they will stay the same ?thanks

Why is no one talking about price listing of exchanges? exchanges listing is becoming a huge problem for many start up projects, how can an exchange be demanding for 8btc to list? how will the projects have enough money to work on their roadmap? i think exchange problem is what many of us are not seeing and talking about...it would have been a different story for some projects that lacks funds

I think Cryptonight coins are very easier to build than ETH Erc20 tokens because 99% of cryptonight coins i mined are all dead now,i started mining the following some months back and now they are all dead. 1.TOKL 2.FEST 3.SnOWFlake 4.ReCoal 5.Bbs coin
I mined this coins back then because they are new and new coins always have low mining difficulty thinking to myself that the wuickly i start mining new coins the more quantities i will owned but i was wrong, any advice will be fine thanks

Note: This is not about how to identify good coins to HODL This is about how you can be a good long term holder
1. You must have another source of income Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.
2. Not all altcoins are good for long term holding Some altcoins are too weak to have better value overtime, these coins only add value to price once in a blue moon,WHY?because the power of demand is too low and they have no working product,i belief that working product is what makes a coin have many more investors
3.HODL Only Altcoins With Real Use Case There are different categories of coins with use cases, many use case are weak use case, for example using fashion designer to back a token is a weak use case to me because it means you can only use the token to buy the designer wears and many will call this a real use case? no it wont do very well. Make sure that the real use case of every altcoins you hold will be very reasonable, the products backing them up must be something that is different and will catch the eye of investors, the usefulness must be outstanding .
4. Stay Updated Always Opportunity comes but once as many know it,so always stay updated about crypto, read crypto news online and keep tracks on your altcoins so that you wont miss future updated or even token swaps, some altcoins i hold have already switched to MainNet and im glad i dont missed the opportunity, you can use blockfolio app to track your altcoins.
Altcoin season is what many are waiting for, even new projects are waiting for altcoin season to return before they get listed on exchanges,im sure of one thing and that is good things dont come easily, today is bitcoin turn to reign and one day altcoins will have its day as well.
