I am using electrum 1.9.7 downloaded from unbuntu installer app instead of the terminal.

Am i in danger with any leak known bugs? Can i stay with it or? As i already send some btcs to my cold storage on my unbuntu

since offline computer do not have the update bitcoin address if i already used 5 bitcoin address and i have 5 unused address.. how is my offline computer going to see the 5 new address.


and if i restore from seed.. from an offline computer... how does electrum pull out 5 used address and 5 new address for me to see?

nothing is updated... and it keeps not showing the green light which is online mode.. HELP!

ok this are the instructions given in the electrum website on installing them.. but i do not want to go to the internet from my linux to download because it defeats the purpose..
so can anyone tell me the commands lines to install from a usb stick and where to get the python qty and pip files?

Install python-qt4 and pip:

On Ubuntu 13.10 do:
sudo apt-get install python-slowaes
Install electrum:

I JUST called huobi with the number above... and i ask them that what if china stop the exchanges will our fiats and bitcoins be gone just like mtgox?
they said no, they sure have ways to make their exchanges run and our money and bitcoins will be 100% safe..
