What is World of TIPS?

We are a website dedicated to making it easy for the average consumer to purchase, spend, and learn about TIPS (a.k.a. Fedoracoin).
All while keeping transactions quick and secure, especially those that are spending TIPS because we will be using the w/ Fedoracoin payment platform. A fantastic platform and one that will no doubt be something more coins strive towards.

TIPS has a max coin supply that makes sense for spending instead of hoarding.

This will be just like any other e-commerce shop, the difference being that the prices are set in TIPS and payment is made in TIPS.
These prices will not link to the exchange rate; it is the beauty of the w/ Fedoracoin payment platform. It is meant to have TIPS act as a true stable currency for purchasing and tipping.

Prices will change though, if....

At Midnight EST, the exchange price of TIPS is +/- 400% of the preceding week.
This is meant to help a stable price for TIPS develop instead of the rapidly changing prices of current cryptos.

[How it usually works when paying with cryptocurrency.]

As many of you may have heard coinpayments.net is shutting down as of March 31st 2014.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the closure of CoinPayments.net."

I for one will hate to see them go as it was awsome to see their logo and know I did not have to change my alt-coins in to Bitcoins to spend them. They have made it so easy to make alt-coin payments and for many alt-coins they kept them a float so I would like to say thank you coinpayments.net for all you have done for the crypto community.

That being said,

I think the timing of the w/ Fedoracoin Payment platform being released couldn't have happened better.

For those that do not know what this platform is, well, it is a payment platform, but not like you are used to, not for crypto currencies anyways.

How it usually works when paying with cryptocurrency.

The price of an item on your website is set in FIAT. USD CAD EUR
You connect to a payment platoform such as Bitpay or Coinpayments.net sending the price of the purchase being made in FIAT currency. USD, CAD, EUR
The payment platform connects to an exchange to figure out the exchange rate of the coin.
The rate is determined and the amount of coins to satisfy the price in FIAT is required to make a purchase.
     eg. You purchase something that is $600, you pay in Bitcoin, a Bitcoin is worth $600 on the exchanges. The cost of the item is 1 Bitcoin. (plus fees)

How the w/ Fedoracoin Payment Platform works

The price of an item on your website is in TIPS Fedoracoins
You connect to the payment platoform and send the price of the item.
The platform creates and presents a payment address to receive payment.
Payment is made and the cryptocurrency is deposited in to your account.

With this process their is no exchanging coins to FIAT or vice versa, no extra connections to find a price. Simply a price, a payment address, and a dashboard to keep track of your orders.

The payment processor will also be able to use BTC and LTC which of course are the 2 big boys in crypto. Who knows if they will ever accept more but the development team is very commited and it is definitely something to take a look at as an online store owner or developer looking to implement a simple donation button with a bit more security.

I also believe that this type of payment platform is necessary for alt-coins and the likes to be taken seriously as a currency in any way. Currently many alt coins only have an "exchange value" their is no faith in the value of a coin being sustained. To have even Bitcoin become more stable I believe the first step will be for people to put a price based on how many Bitcoins it is worth instead of how many dollars it can be changed to.

Hello I have come across this pool and it seem like it should have far more power considering what it is.

This is a merge mining scrypt pool.

At the moment you can mine 9 different coins at the same time, but here is a little breakdown of how it works.

The pool has 2 types of coins.

Coins they consider main chains, and coins they consider secondary chains.

This is how they explain it on their website.

How to Start.

1. Sign up at manicminer.in
2. Click on "Your Account" in the top left and click your username from the dropdown.
3. Enter your addresses for the coins you would like to mine. I suggest making an address for all the secondary coins. As for main coins I would only put the coins you would like to mine as your hash is split up between the main coins.
4. Add your workers on the same page as you added the coins.
5. Click "Info" on the left side and click "Instructions"
6. This will tell you the URL and credentials to use for your miner.

So this is just me here but they need to be stopped.

Issue 1. They have bugs with the coins they have.
Issue 2. They keep adding more coins.
Issue 3. People still use them.
Issue 4. The larger volume then other exchanges is keeping them thriving.

Every second or third transaction I make on Cryptsy leads me to talk to customer support.

When I say transaction, I mean....

1. Deposits.
2. Withdrawals.
3. Orders.

They have issues everywhere and are still the biggest exchange. We need to change this unless we want to see what happened with MtGOX happen to us at Cryptsy, utter failure.

Hell, half the time when they take a coindown for maintenance the coin goes down before any information is even given.
We must spread the good word about other exchanges, will continuing to get Cryptsy to fix pending issues.

I will start here, these are all alt-coin exchanges that have more than 1 BTC daily volume.

Bter has many options and is a great site, but it is a bit harder to navigate than some of them.

Crypto rush has a massive collection of coins, as well as many different trading pairs. Most coins can be traded for BTC LTC DOGE DGC or POT.

Happy trading, lets show Cryptsy that they are an exchange and as such need to step up their game.

I have thought this through pretty well but I do not have the skills to code a coin.
I do have some developers that I am working with but I would much rather keep things to the people that know them best.
