Wendy, een goede vriendin van mij heeft vanwege de situatie in Sint Maarten haar neef en nicht in huis genomen, opdat ze hier naar school kunnen gaan. Zoals bekend heeft orkaan Irma het kleine (37 km2) Caribische eiland met de grond gelijk gemaakt. Ook (praktisch) alle scholen, ook die van hun is onbruikbaar.

Voor nu is dat de beste oplossing, wel tijdelijk natuurlijk.

De scholen moeten hersteld worden en dat zal mettertijd ook gebeuren.
Helaas hebben sommige kinderen niet de mogelijkheid om bij familie in Nederland naar school te gaan of de financiële middelen daartoe.
Soms moeten ze thuis of groepsscholing krijgen in St. Maarten zelf. Ze kunnen daarbij basisbenodigdheden als potloden, pennen, papier, schriften, boeken goed gebruiken. De meeste hulp is nu nog gericht op voedsel, onderdak, etc. Ook als de scholen heropenen is alle hulp mooi meegenomen.

My friend Wendy took her niece and nephew in home, to go to school in the Netherlands, after  hurricane Irma almost leveled the small  -37 km2 (14 sq mi)- Caribbean island of Sint Maarten (Saint Martin), where they lived.

This is the best solution for now, but only temporarily of course.

The schools needs rebuilding and will, in time.
But some kids don't have the luxury of having relatives living abroad or the financial means to travel.
They are sometimes home or group schooled and could use some basics like pencils, pens, paper, notepads, books for now. As most aid is now directed to food, shelter, etc. Besides, they could use it when schools reopen as well.

So, if you have some Crypto available to donate, please do. Every bit helps, even a bit of dust in your wallet. I will exchange the coin to BTC on Bittrex so Wendy can easily redistribute. (She says it's possible to arrange things with BTC, so..) Sharing on social media, mail, etc is appreciated as well.

Hi guys,

As i was a bit bored last week, i decided to invest in an obvious HYIP: http://unique-income.com/.
As it was still early in the game (2nd day), i was hoping to earn a bit..

So, i sent a small investment over there and did a few rounds of compounding.
By reinvesting several times through the 160% (1 hour) and the 195% (6 hour) plans, my investment grew at least tenfold.
You can do like 2 or 3 investments of each plan a day, before you run into bugs (blank screen after investing or messages that you can't invest below the minimum -while investing MORE than minimum)

However, since day one NONE of my withdraws succeeded. The first few days i just had to cancel them manually (because no payout in 24 hours), but the last few days they just cancel any withdraw automatically as soon as it hits 24 hours.

I tried small amounts, i tried large amounts: they are NOT paying anyone.

Besides that: they are NOT responding to any email or support request.

Although the scam is quite obvious; because of my reinvestments i'm now top investor -as i couldn't withdraw, i kept reinvesting-, i have the responsibility to warn you all:

Do not invest, i haven't been paid and i'm sure all "PAID" investors are fake. They don't even offer some link to txid or blockchain.

Also: about 40% of my investments vanished.. They were never paid out, that's especially for the 195 and 250% plan.
When my withdraws were cancelled, most of my funds dissapeared as well.

As CoinClockWork conveniently locked his threads the minute his self imposed refund deadline expired, i'll post here.

CCW setup a investment game called CoinClockWork (see thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1145495.0), that paid out 1% hourly.
It ran OK for some time, but had withdrawal issues from the start. The site featured an innovative  auto-withdraw option that was buggy to begin with.
Sometimes it worked for hours, then it got stuck and only accumulated coins. The manual withdraw had bugs as well, in my case it lost 40.5XPY.
2 investors, Clipman77 and Vasilich exploited a bug with the withdrawal system and withdrew at least double what they should.
This had the OP fixing his script and stopping payouts.
It ran for some time, but never recovered and payouts were stuck for most of the time.
So, CCW decided to restart and refund everyone their initial investment and keep the coins already earned.
Some people like me had withdrawal problems for days; he offered us to refund, keep both paid out and accumulated coins in the wallet.
He setup an email and Skype account for refunds, and would refund within 48 hours after submission of the request..
Nothing happened, and after the deadline ran out he simply locked the thread so we couldn't complain or warn people.

As such, this thread, unless mods (already contacted) reopen the main threads.

We will post and link every one of his new games and threads here, so you'll be warned.

All "investor" games are risky, but CCW is one of the most untrustworthy OP's/admins i have encountered here. (Except ThunderFaN- Frederick John Schiller-)
The site didn't even last until investors made ROI (100%), CCW made promises he wasn't planning to keep.

Lost about 450XPY myself, but he agreed to refund 2551.50XPY (initial + coins in wallet)
