482  Economy / Service Discussion / BFL FAIL COMPILATION on: January 13, 2013, 10:06:57 PM
Please add to this list for I may have left out or overlooked a failure or two:

BFL has failed much harder:

1. Announce ASIC preorders in JUNE 2012 and October delivery and fail to deliver.
2. Announce extended delivery date of November and fail to deliver.
3. Announce extended delivery date of December and fail to deliver.
4. Announce extended delivery date of January and fail to deliver.
5. Allow a dumbass to troll the community on BTCTALK if they disagree with BFL's statements and claimes.
6. Show up to CES with case with ONLY fans, power supply, and a $30,000 Nexus 7 device.
7. Troll your competition publicly on the forum and have a bitch slapping fight.
8. ?

483  Economy / Service Discussion / Butterfly Labs Rep at CES Showcase "ASICs" on: January 11, 2013, 09:27:14 PM
Here is a video of Butterfly Lab's PR/Spokesperson showing his true colors and refusing to talk about the case on display at the CES convention in LV. Supposedly this device only has fans and a nexus device inside of it.

With $25 million in preorder funds, this is all they were able to come up with. This is related to the service of butterfly labs because it shows where they are at in their providing customers that have sent preorder funds to them for a device that is now 70 days late on delivery (at least) with no proof or accountability of what was done with the preorder funds.

490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Microcash scam perpetrated by Realsolid on: December 29, 2012, 09:30:09 PM
1. Realsolid promised to release Microcash.
2. Then he went silent.
3. Then those who believe in the project started asking on the microcash forum when it would be released.
4. Realsolid said he was not doing well financially and stated that if 250 BTC be given to him he could finish the project and have it released.
5. Those who believed rallied and came up with at least 250btc and sent it to Realsolid.
6. RS put up a nice shiny front page with a rocket and $ sign for Microcash...
7. RS made promises that it would be released weeks after getting the 250 BTC.
8. Months (3 at least) later nothing has been released nor has anyone heard from RS publicly.
9. What a crock of scam lol.  Grin Grin Grin
491  Economy / Scam Accusations / BITCOIN MAGAZINES ORDERED NOV. 11th 2012 NOT RECEIVED on: December 28, 2012, 05:47:43 AM

ORIGINAL THREAD: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=128732.0

I've decided to make a scammers thread concerning Bitcoin Magazine and my order with them that has not been received.

I emailed help@bitcoinmagazine.com about 24 hours ago and still have not received a response (UNACCEPTABLE):

How long does it take to send my magazines I purchased on Nov 11th?Huh WTF!!

Here is the PM between me and Mihai several weeks ago concerning my order.

Hi Smoothie,

Please accept my sincere apologizes for this situation. I have personally checked our database and it appears that we have sent you the magazines. The magazines have been sent in separate envelopes, you should receive issue #3 and #4 in another envelope. When you have received the first envelope containing issue #2?

We are in the process of migrating our stuff from the .net and .co.uk to the .com domain. We will have a press release by Monday, announcing the changes that the magazine and company will go/has gone through.

The reason why your emails are not responded/bounced back is because we are moving to a new ticket system also. Please start using from now on help@bitcoinmagazine.com to reach our support staff.

Please let me know when you have received the first envelope, that way we can figure out if it got lost in transit or if it's still on the way to you. As a sidenote - both envelopes were sent at the same time.

Best regards,
Mihai Alisie

I received issued #2 on November 26th.

I have not received the other two issues.

How do we proceed with this?

Hello again,

That is strange. I could reship you next week #3, #4 and a complimentary #5 issue. We are going to announce #5 officially today/tomorrow. Would this be ok with you?

Regards,
Mihai Alisie

That sounds good. Please make it happen. Let me know when it ships.

Thanks!

Thank you for your understanding. I will keep you updated.

Cheers,
Mihai

I am just curious what the status of my order is now?

Thanks for your help.

Smoothie

Hi there,

Your #3 and #4 mags have been reshipped on Monday, December 3rd. The #5 orders, including your complimentary issue, will be shipped starting December 10.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for your understanding.

Mihai

Thank you Mihai for responding promply!

Aloha!

Thank you, again, for understanding. In the future please use help@bitcoinmagazine.com. We have moved to a new ticket system that should drastically improve the response time and the customer support service.

Aloha!

496  Other / Off-topic / [POLL] How much should Cypher's Subscription FEE be? on: December 20, 2012, 04:08:47 AM
This poll is merely to gauge public feedback of Cypherdoc's Analytics Subscription service that he offers. I am only one voice in a crowd of many and I think it is fair to get public feedback on Cypher's service.

No this is not meant to troll Cypher in anyway.

This is an honest poll in which I encourage those subscribers (past and present) to post your feedback with the poll options and replies below.

Thank you for participating.  Kiss

i said long ago that most of you around here will get shaken out of this bull market by overtrading.  i see plenty of evidence that this is happening.

Don't be bothered by TA skeptics and always bullish people, this is a rich and extensive analysis considering it's free. Keep it up.

Blitz, and just what exactly is wrong with having been bullish all along?  i would submit that the majority of traders who've had the discipline to hang on over the last year and a half are UP with their accounts.  afterall, there has been only approx. one month in the entire 4yr hx of Bitcoin trading where the price has been higher, so statistically my claim should be valid.  of course i'm sure Smoothie will jump in here and say he's up a thousand %.  maybe, maybe not.  i can tell he's a day trader though so i have my doubts.  Cheesy

i've made it public that my average cost in is around 6.50 so i've more than doubled my money w/o any trading headaches by being a "permabull" as you call it.

the obvious question some of you might ask is then why should we subscribe to you cypher if we all know you're just a bull?  the answer is that most of my subs are inexperienced traders that don't have the discipline to hold tight.  they need to be talked through big selloffs and have it explained to them why i remain bullish.  there will come a time when i say sell though.

and i'm not always bullish; i alerted my subs during the August selloff minutes before it happened.  from that move it was obvious what would happen so you can't call me a permabull.

This is an outright lie. I was a subscriber and he did not call the sell off in August. Cypher you know better than to lie outright don't you? Wow never thought you would do that. Now watch him WIGGLE out of this statement.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
