1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Exodus wallet doesn't work anymore? on: August 16, 2017, 11:59:43 AM
I can't send my ETH out from my exodus wallet. Exodus gives error: "broadcastTx error: undefined: GATEWAY_TIMEOUT"

Everything used to work fine. I've tried several times. I've also tried re-scanning the blockchain. Even trying to exchange ETH, exodus gave an error.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Leaked document - Bitcoin over Tor Isn't a Good Idea on: October 24, 2014, 05:47:05 PM
Intresting document on Cryptome bout how Bitcoin over Tor Isn't a Good Idea: http://cryptome.org/2014/10/bitcoin-tor-nope.pdf

Bitcoin is a decentralized P2P digital currency
in which coins are generated by a distributed set of miners
and transaction are broadcasted via a peer-to-peer network.
While Bitcoin provides some level of anonymity (or rather
pseudonymity) by encouraging the users to have any number
of random-looking Bitcoin addresses, recent research shows that
this level of anonymity is rather low. This encourages users to
connect to the Bitcoin network through anonymizers like Tor and
motivates development of default Tor functionality for popular
mobile SPV clients. In this paper we show that combining Tor and
Bitcoin creates an attack vector for the deterministic and stealthy
man-in-the-middle attacks. A low-resource attacker can gain full
control of information flows between all users who chose to use
Bitcoin over Tor. In particular the attacker can link together
user’s transactions regardless of pseudonyms used, control which
Bitcoin blocks and transactions are relayed to the user and can
delay or discard user’s transactions and blocks. In collusion with
a powerful miner double-spending attacks become possible and a
totally virtual Bitcoin reality can be created for such set of users.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core stopped connecting??? on: August 27, 2014, 05:29:42 PM
The client doesn't connect to any nodes. I'm using version v0.9.2.1 but the older version stopped working also. The last connection was from 11 weeks.

Firewalls are disabled. I even deleted everything related to bitcoin except wallet.dat and now the client is stuck behind five years.

This is some seriously fucked up shit. Any possible explanations how this can suddenly happen and how to fix it?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / zero active connections to the bitcoin network on: August 15, 2014, 12:36:16 AM
I get zero active connections to the bitcoin network. I've tried rescanning and deleting peers.dat. Nothing seems to be helping. My wallet is two months behind.

Where can I find a list of working nodes??
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / When to sell your alt coins? on: June 24, 2014, 11:13:24 AM
I've bought into some very profitable coins. But every time when a big pump comes I somehow end up feeling like a loser.

Any trading strategies how to handle a pump?

Any signs to know when a pump is over?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Settings for Asus R280X DirectCU 2 TOP ? on: March 03, 2014, 01:13:37 PM
Before a mod deletes this post again. Yeah, I know there's plenty of threads of various 280X's but I'm looking specific settings for this particular model. A lot of conflicting info is around it and the some peoples settings seem very different than on normal 280X's.

I need help to get the most out of Asus R280X DirectCU 2 TOP -GPU. I've read that some people have gotten 800 kh/s easily. I'm getting around 735 kh/s, which is the same as with other R280's. But this is the overclocked TOP-model.

My settings for Cgminer:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 65
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 0
--scrypt -o stratum+tcp://xxx:xxx -u xxx -p xxx --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --gpu-fan 55 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1070 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

Whenever I try to increase gpu memclock or gpu engine the kh/s is either the same or decreases. Even --gpu-engine 1160 --gpu-memclock 1800 --thread-concurrency 11200 with GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 doesn't increase the Kh/s.

Any help appreciated.
