42  Economy / Reputation / Cleobet: Another betb2b (1xbet/1xbit) clone - Flag to be supported on: April 03, 2020, 07:51:38 PM
That shady 1xbet/1xbit group is launching new clones as if it was nothing.

Just a few days ago, another crypto bookmaker named Cleobet popped up and launched a signature campaign here on bitcointalk. Visiting their website, one would immediately notice that their website is looking almost exactly the same as 1xbet and several other clones that this group is running. Just for the record even though I may be repeating myself: That group has been scamming lots of players for a long time.

Please support the flag here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1519

Just a few minutes ago, they finally posted their ANN thread and I took the chance to ask them about their relation with betb2b. Have a look at their response and my reaction:

Hello,

Thank you for the messages.
We have no association in any way with 1xbit / 1xbet / betb2b. We have developed our own platform and have our own license. We understand your questions / comments, but we are a completely different company.

That´s actually impossible, sorry - I may believe you are operating "independently" - stating you have developed your own platform, well, thats simply not true... I really hate to do/say this but with your first response - which came quickly, thanks for that - you have already disqualified yourselves. No association in any way cant be true based on the fact that your platform is exactly the same that is being used by 1xbet/1xbit and the hundreds of clones all over the net.

Then they asked me why I think its impossible that their platform is built from scratch by them... They really did as if we were fools... Have a look:

Quote

That´s actually impossible, sorry - I may believe you are operating "independently" - stating you have developed your own platform, well, thats simply not true...

May I ask you why this is impossible, according to your vision?

Are you really asking this?

Okay, here we go: Not only does your website/platform look exactly the same as 1xbet and several other betb2b clones - I am not just talking about design aspects where you could argue you were "inspired" - the whole structure is the same, even the registration procedure as well as the wording. This is not a uniquely built platform - we are no fools.

So, long story short, please read this to see why I am saying what I am saying: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230966.msg54145586#msg54145586

Their next statement being that they have a different sports betting selection:

You are talking about the whole structure:
Perhaps it helps if you compare the offer of our sport events (sports / odds) with that of 1xbit / 1xbet.

Those differ completely from eachother.

You arent helping yourselves with your replies so far - even though I appreciate that you do answer!

The sports betting selection being different? First of all, its actually not completely different when comparing it with all those sites. And then, it doesnt need to be identical to prove me right - that betb2b platform (of course) allows you to choose.

By the way: Here in your ANN you are saying there is a 1 BTC welcome deposit bonus - on your website/platform, that you have build from scratch and completely on your own, you are saying 5 BTC... So whats it gonna be?

They definitely made their homework - when googling, you cant find any connection, new license etc. Using the very same platform though and then stating you have build it from scratch... well, I think I dont need to comment on this - its a pure joke, just visit the sites and you will see.

There is only one scenario that could have helped cleobet - if they claimed that they rent the platform while running their shop completely independently. I highly doubt that this is even possible with betb2b but... we could speak about some benefit of the doubt, maybe they didnt know how shady that group is, whatever. Well, unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, they disqualified themselves and we can warn people before its too late.

See screenshots of cleobet & 1xbet/1xbit below - registration process is almost identical... this is not just "inspiration", it´s the same platform. Same UI etc. Even their Terms and Conditions are identical (wording, structure) etc.

43  Local / Deutsch (German) / WICHTIG: Phinnaeus Gage 2020 Exit Scam (Bitte lesen, no Spam!) on: April 03, 2020, 01:06:39 PM
Hallo zusammen,

Quote
First, a couple of mind-blowing statistics. Across Bruno's 3 main accounts, Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow, and YuTü.Co.in, he has amassed a total of 44,776 posts and started 1,628 topics.  Shocked  He possesses 2 accounts currently in the top 10 members by number of posts, making him far and away the most prolific poster on the forum.

BitcoinGirl.

46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Virtual Sports Betting Guide on: April 01, 2020, 08:37:42 AM
Virtual Sports are getting more and more popular among sports bettors these days - for obvious reasons. In this thread I would like to provide some (hopefully useful) information for anyone interested in Virtual Sports and your thoughts will be appreciated. Have you risked money on Virtual Sports? What are your experiences? Anything you would like to share? There is no thread yet related to this topic afaik, which is why I thought lets do one.

With COVID-19 all over the world and almost all championships having been interrupted, people are looking for alternative betting options - besides casino gambling and e-sports.

Disclaimer: The below information is no rocket science - just a basic roundup and personal opinion. Also, this thread is work in progress and will be extended whenever I get to it. Last but not least, self-moderated because it´s not supposed to become a spam party.

How to bet on Virtual Sports

First things first - you will of course need an account on a betting platform that is offering Virtual Sports betting markets. Then you just need to navigate to the specific "Virtual Sports" section, select the sport you are interested in (eg football, basketball, whatever) and pick matches you want to bet on. It´s really as simple as that - still, some attention is needed, which is why I want to try to give some "tips" for Virtual Sports Betting.

Crypto Bookies with Virtual Sports on offer (not affiliated with any of the following gambling sites):

- sportsbet.io
- playbetr.com

Pros and cons of Virtual Sports Betting

Let´s have a quick look at the advantages and disadvantages that come with Virtual Sports, focusing primarily on Virtual Football since that´s definitely the most popular option people are betting on.

Advantages

- Games only last between 2-3 minutes usually
- Little waiting time between games, 2 minutes or so
- Literally available 24/7
- Many sports to choose from, such as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Horse Racing, Cycling etc.
- Lots of betting markets, eg 1x2, Under/Over, Exact Score, Halftime/Fulltime, Handicap etc.
- Some bookies even let you "study" team statistics, virtual sports results since they run league championships, including current standings, team form, previous results etc. As if it was a regular game in a regular league
- Live Streaming available for all Virtual Sports Games

Disadvantages

- Due to the fact that the games have a very short duration, live betting is not available
- You can get carried away pretty easily. The games are consecutive and you need to be careful when choosing your bets
- The "human factor" is non-existent in the results. Basically like playing in a casino, since the results are also coming from a a random number generator (RNG)
- There is more than 6% "Rake" to be paid and in some cases that number goes up to 7%. Rake represents the sure profit of the book, regardless of game result

Tips on "how to win" at Virtual Sports

Before talking about "tips", I really want and need to make that clear that (as in casino games) there is no real strategy on how to win in Virtual Sports. This is gambling as it´s defined by algorithm and RNG. Still, there are some things worth keeping in mind:

- Again, the results are completely based on RNG, which means that they can mean a lot or they can mean nothing, as stupid as this may sound. Statistics in Virtual Sports don´t play as big a role as in real life. The way you look at real match statistics has nothing to do with Virtual Sports and can´t be compared.

- Because we are talking about RNG, your bets must be selected very carefully. Since the games are carried out one after the other, there is a risk that you will be tempted and lose your money faster than you would expect.

- Everyone has their own strategy. Many virtual sports players choose favorites because the odds are usually quite high - most favorites pay over 2.00. If you come across favorites at under 2.00, it's not worth picking them. Please remember, a favorite in real life can´t be compared with Virtual RNG stuff. I also know people who like to put their money on draws because of higher returns. Other prefer to pick the outsiders.

- Truth is that going for outsiders probably makes the most sense (odds of +3.00) or even double chance - again, results are completely based on RNG. Same goes for Under/Over. It may be wise to go for the outsiders when odds are above 2.00.

To be continued...
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / (POLL) The most beautiful football jersey ever? on: March 28, 2020, 12:16:58 PM
Hey guys,

just like everybody else, I am forced to stay at home most of the time and I am spending lots of my free-time watching football matches (obviously my favorite sport) and reading newspapers, including several Greek sports newspapers. Wink

We are all missing football and what could be nicer than remembering some of the nicest jerseys we have ever seen... Gotta love some of these really iconic jerseys! Smiley

I have chosen to list some of my absolute favorite ones and some that seem to be highly popular among others - the list could be endless and I am sure some of you will bash me for having forgotten one or another great jersey. Wink Feel free to say so! Cheesy In the end, its a matter of taste, isnt it. Please take your vote! Smiley And also share if some of those legendary teams/jerseys remind you of betting success stories (or unlucky failures)!

The order is absolutely random and I wont tell (for now) my favorite! Wink

Nb. Yes, I am definitely bored! Cheesy

50  Economy / Reputation / Fake Accounts bumping Lotto Nation, Swapzilla, MyTVChain, Joltee, PHORE on: March 26, 2020, 07:27:54 PM
I stumbled upon the Lotto Nation ANN thread and actually opened it because I thought "Lotto Nation" and 6 pages already, could be interesting. Well, unfortunately, this whole thread is a shitpost spam party! ^^ It is more than obvious that Lotto Nation have hired some bumping service...

The whole thread consists of Lotto Nation posting updates and 12 users making absolutely ridiculous posts (one liners) all the time - there is not one "real" post - oh and of course all posts are coming in waves. Wink You could argue the bumping service they hired sucks big time... Wink

All of those bumping accounts are newbies, have more or less same activity and whats most interesting - they are obviously also used to bump the ANN threads of Swapzilla, MyTVChain, Joltee and PHORE BLOCKCHAIN.

52  Economy / Reputation / Pnxbet --> Kawbet --> 1xbet/1xbit (known scammers) - Plz support flag! on: March 24, 2020, 08:18:32 PM
A few weeks ago we discovered that Kawbet belongs to the 1xbet/1xbit group, who are known scammers, no surprise kawbet followed that path. All info can be found in the following thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230966

During my research back then I found out that Kawbet was launched by a company called Pnxtech.nv, which happens to run pnxbet.com. Pnxbet doesnt have the best reputation and an accusation recently came up on bitcointalk (at least two I think) - thats not the most important part though, even if there were not, they are running kawbet. Reason enough they should be avoided, just like kawbet and of course each and every 1xbet/1xbit clone.

Please support my flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1489

Good Day. We are bringing to your notice that we made a decision to stop any collaboration with you (closing your gaming account) on the basis of General Terms and Conditions of the Bookmaker Company:

Upon checking with the team you did not reply with the email sent to you on where you should process the refund, please reply with the ticket and ask them to
"activate account in order for me to process my withdrawal".

Point 1. I have also noticed that your the same person that is facilitating multiple accounts, arbitrage betting, corridor betting from pnxbet.com (the same company managed by kawbet) where you also have been banned by violating such terms. So banning your account would be common in any sportsbook company as they has the right reason on cheating players.
Point 2. Most banned players from these sportsbook are based from a collective data gathered by the company which players that ONLY involve fraud.

Don't forget to reply with the email, wish you all the good luck

53  Economy / Reputation / Bitcoin Chaser promotes shady & provably scamming gambling sites on: March 20, 2020, 12:00:12 AM
A "typical" gambling affiliate website called "Bitcoin Chaser - bitcoinchaser.com" has been actively trying to drive traffic to their site via bitcointalk - their goal is of course getting people to click on their affiliate links and register on any of the countless gambling sites they are promoting. That´s totally fine with me and I wouldnt mind at all - provided they were only promoting legit sites.

Side note: Their reviews are obviously far from being unbiased/real and definitely not written with the players in mind - those so called reviews are more like press releases and pure selling material. Unfortunately thats the case with most affiliate websites out there... I wouldnt personally recommend such sites as a reference but I also wouldnt create a thread like this one just for that reason.

Whats the problem: They are actively promoting several shady gambling sites and even proven scammers, for example 1xbit, bitstarz, kawbet - I guess there will be many more if you had a closer look at their site... At this point I dont think I need to explain or bring up proof why the mentioned sites are shady...

1xbit & bitstarz are even being promoted heavily on their frontpage as top bitcoin casinos - see screenshot below:

The worst thing: Since January, when they first signed up here, people confronted them about that and I personally wrote several posts in their thread asking for a statement and more importantly, asking them to stop promoting scammers. Well, its been months by now and they changed absolutely nothing. They make up excuses and they would look into it and bla bla bla - for months. There is nothing to look into when for example talking about 1xbit - and it shouldnt take months...

We should take some action, make people aware that they cant trust in that site´s reviews/recommendations and also tag them here on bitcointalk. Promoting known and proven scammers as an affiliate in order to earn commission isnt any better than actually running those scam sites.

54  Economy / Reputation / How to go about people/businesses promoting shady gambling operators on: March 19, 2020, 08:00:12 PM
One question quick and dirty - curious what you guys think about it...

Someone (an affiliate site actually) is promoting proven scammers on a website, practically recommending people to sign up with shady gambling operators and deposit money - they have been made aware of it (they should know themselves but ok...) and they obviously dont care at all.

Shouldnt we take some action here? Even if its just a website (affiliate) who is referring people? I mean, how is promoting 1xbit/kawbet and the likes as an affiliate any better?

Thank you very much in advance! I just feel like I am the only one being unhappy with such sites promoting their shit in this forum without anyone caring...
55  Other / Off-topic / Top Matches in sports you want to watch again and again on: March 19, 2020, 01:26:03 PM
Well, with all that Corona drama going on and being forced to stay at home for most of the time... Why not share our favorite matches of all times guys? Matches you want to watch from their first to last minute!

I am quite a homegrown guy to be honest but I would still love to do my walks, especially now that the weather is getting better. Anyway, recently I took advantage of this "stay home opportunity" to enjoy some of my favorite matches of all times! I have watched most of these at least 10 times and I never get bored. Even though it is hard for me to decide on my favorite ones, here is my temporary Top 4 + 1 (random order!).  Cool

How about you guys? Any matches you cant get enough of? Please share - and feel free to comment on my selection if you like!  Smiley

Liverpool - Alaves 5-4 (2001)

Goals are the quintessence of football, I mean it! Yeah, there may even be a nice 0-0 every now and then but I am definitely a fan of many goals. The UEFA CUP final 2001 (was UEFA Cup back then and not Europa League) was a goal-fest! The final was decided by an own goal by the way (golden goal rule actually) - thank god that golden goal rule has been a short-lived one. Liverpool back in that day couldnt be compared with nowaday´s Liverpool and Alaves with some impressive rookie performance. I just love this match!

Video: https://youtu.be/qXecpmKl6MY

Manchester United - Bayern Munich 2-1 (1999)

I just love finals, no matter what sport, I love them! And whats to say about that incredible Champions League final in 1999 in Camp Nou between Red Devils and Bayern Munich. Even though I am Greek, I have been living in Germany and almost all of my friends were Bayern supporters...

Yeah, I admit, that final wasnt top quality over the whole 90 minutes BUT... the finale compensated us for a hundred matches, didnt it? What happened in those last minutes was unbelievable...

Video: https://youtu.be/cmtmojTSRR8

Liverpool - AC Milan 3-3 (3-2 penalties) (2005)

Liverpool once again! That Champions League final was played in Athens (while we also had Olympics in Greece). Well... Liverpool with one of the biggest (if not the biggest) upsets in European Cup history, winning the trophy after penalties. Whatever team you support, this game is ... a dream come true and advertising for football!

Video: https://youtu.be/oWdPDofBxl0

Barcelona - Real Madrid 5-0 (2010)

What a night, what a night... I love Barca, always have! And this match will always hold a special place in my heart! Yeah, sounds dramatic but honestly, it was awesome, wasnt it?!

Best Barca of all times dominated Mourinho´s Real Madrid in his first "Clasico". Well, not much to say, an unforgettable night for me and it all began with Xavi's first goal of the match.

Video: https://youtu.be/Jeiu7y-a220

Greece Euro Champion 2004

Yeah, not a single match but rather the whole tournament - a miracle and a dream come true for every Greek. No words needed really and even while writing this, I am getting euphoric once more. Check this video out, watch the pictures and listen to those Greek reporters. Owning Portugal twice with the EURO being played there... and CR7 crying in the end... priceless! I have watched all Greek matches dozens of times! Really some of the best days in my life!

56  Economy / Reputation / Kawbet belongs to 1xbet/1xbit (known scammers) - Plz support flag! on: March 06, 2020, 06:41:11 PM
Some new crypto bookie named "Kawbet" recently came up and when checking out their website, I (and not just me) immediately noticed a similar website layout/structure/design/wording with 1xbit. 1xbit/1xbet and many more "labels" belong to the same group who have been scamming people for a long time, many bitcointalk members have been scammed but not exclusively - a google search shows how shady that group is.

Being worried, I raised some questions in Kawbet´s ANN, which remained unanswered. I wasnt the only one asking questions and it didnt take long before several people came up claiming their accounts were closed etc. Someone then posted a screenshot when trying to deposit via "bitshares". I have just tried this out myself and well, take a look at the screenshots below. First belongs to Kawbet, second one belongs to 1xbit (thanks tyKiwanuka!)

Memorize your wallet address for payments via BitShares: x1bit

People should be warned and stay away from Kawbet - sooner or later their accounts will be closed and/or withdrawals declined. Its what this group does, they have a record. Kawbet is currently also running a signature campaign here on bitcointalk... (UPDATE: On pause now!)

1xbit has been active on bitcointalk before I even signed up here, they had an ANN and an active 1xbit representative.

If you use search function, you will find many more threads about 1xbit scamming...

Some updates:

- Kawbet hasnt responded yet as to why deposit adresses are matching. I really hope they will do shortly. No answer is also an answer? ...

- Signature campaign has been paused: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227812.msg53981523#msg53981523

- Kawbet opened a thread in their local board asking for support to oppose the flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231056.msg53980603#msg53980603

- Unrelated but still unprofessional and forbidden: The Kawbet account also plagiarized from several websites.

60  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Gewinnspiel: Wo steht BTC am Ende des 1. Quartals 2020? on: January 05, 2020, 01:21:00 PM
Hallo zusammen!

Aktueller Preispool:

efialtis: 0,005 BTC
tyKiwanuka: 0,005 BTC
Koal-84: 0,0025 BTC
1miau: 0,005 BTC
Spray.: 0,0025 BTC

Smiley
