1  Economy / Auctions / bitcointrading.com <---- domain at auction on SEDO! on: April 03, 2021, 11:01:11 PM
Hey guys!  Been awhile!  Selling off some domains and giving SEDO a try.  I really wanted (and maybe should have) made an auction thread here but this auction section seems pretty bare, so regardless if you are interested in the domain bitcointrading.com do yourself a favor and go to the URL, it will redirect you to the auction.

Even if you aren't necessarily interested in the auction, if you could please share this with the world I would appreciate it a ton.  Thank you all so much and have yourself a wonderful day!

3  Economy / Service Announcements / CoinURL now accepts decent Bitcoin or Altcoin faucets! on: March 07, 2015, 12:26:08 AM
Greetings Bitcoin community!

I have an annoucement about CoinURL!   In recent past, we have had to reject all Bitcoin faucets from participating in CoinURL.  This was because faucets generate massive amounts of traffic advertisers were not seeing the quality from faucet clicks like they would from a normal website like a blog or forum.  We had no choice at the time, but we came up with a solution!

Your revenue on a faucet is not paid per click, but per unique impression.  In addition, advertisers who have received clicks from a faucet will get a partial refund on every click.

We will charge advertisers a set rate for faucet clicks, which we will adjust over time for the BTC conversion, right now it is set at 0.0001 BTC.  So if you purchased clicks for 0.0004 BTC, you will receive a refund to your account of 0.0003 BTC.  Just as an example.  Then the publisher of the faucet will receive a fair rate per unique visitor.  It is important for us to make it fair for both parties so we will make adjustments as necessary but right now it works well and we can now accept faucets!  We encourage all faucet owners to resubmit your faucets for review!

If you have any questions you can reach us at info@coinurl.com!

Cheers!
4  Other / Off-topic / We won! Thanks if you voted! on: November 06, 2014, 08:42:42 PM
Greetings fellow Bitcoiners!

My good friend is in the running for a contest and needs help.  He went through all the rounds of voting and he is at the final 2 at SEMA in Las Vegas right now as we speak and he needs votes to push him over the edge to take the trophy home.  He is a crypto lover but won't be fully convinced until the next big bubble but rest assured he has his little slice of the pie, although only a little bit.

Keep in mind I do not stand to benefit from this in any way except for doing a friend a favor.  If he wins he gets a trophy and a magazine spread.  He is currently behind in votes.

To vote:
(in USA) text TBGANTHONY to 22333
(in CANADA) text TBGANTHONYCAN to 37607
Texting is free! Voting ends on Friday Nov 7th at 12:00pm PST.

Thank you in advance!

If he wins by a small margin and the Bitcoin community makes a difference I will make him do something with the car to promote Bitcoin in some way!  Smiley

Here are some photos of his car: a 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo MKIV.

5  Other / Off-topic / Ban the person above you (jokingly). on: June 30, 2014, 09:51:53 PM
Just as the title says, a simply game of banning each other.

Keep it civil.

Simply state a reason why the person above you is banned.

For example:
"Banned for having no profile picture."
"Banned for banning the user above you."
"Banned because your username looks funny."

Anything.

Go!
6  Economy / Digital goods / 3 domains FS: namecoin.tv, namecoin.im, namecoin.ca on: June 12, 2014, 04:11:40 AM

namecoin.ca
namecoin.im

7  Economy / Computer hardware / Litecoin (Scrypt) Mining Rig (2x Big Bang / 16x Radeon / 4x PSU) on: April 04, 2014, 04:59:57 AM
Going to be selling the Litecoin mining rig. Has two rare motherboards: the MSI Big Bang Marshal B3 (XL-ATX). The only motherboard with 8 full length PCIe slots with dual NF200 chipsets on board to provide 16 lanes to each card. It's overkill, but it makes for a very stable system. And there are two of them.

Custom aluminum chassis. It's the perfect case. Can hold two ATX or XL-ATX motherboards, adjustable to fit different boards as well.

In the picture there is 4x 5850s and 11x 5870s but I have one more 5870 to include, needed a longer riser to reach to that last card but they have new USB risers on eBay for cheap that are a bit longer.

1x 1300w Rosewill lightning (single rail)
1x 1000w Corsair (single rail)
2x 850w Corsair (single rail)

With 2x Intel Core i3 - 2100 processors!

The case is 18.75" wide (fits in a rack), 30" deep and 12" tall.

6 BTC and you pay for shipping!  Shipping from Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

8  Economy / Currency exchange / [FINISHED] WTS: 0.25 BTC for Paypal USD. on: March 10, 2014, 05:30:18 PM
Hey I'm looking at getting some Paypal USD today or tomorrow.  If you have Paypal and want to buy a 0.25 BTC, let me know.

If you have been a member of bitcointalk for less than a year or have less than 150 posts I probably won't consider it.  Looking for a someone with an actual history of being a legit trader.
9  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] 125 Block Erupter USBs + one 49 port hub = 4 BTC shipped on: November 20, 2013, 10:58:15 PM
Greetings!

I have a lot of 125 Block Erupter USBs for sale.  I see these are selling like hotcakes on eBay right now (going from $50+ regularly) and they are basically sold out everywhere, I have a bunch for sale.  I won't part them out though.  I'd like to see the 49 port go along with them so it is included in 4 BTC.  I think I paid 4 BTC for 8 of these so to get 125 of them is an incredible deal.

I have someone interested in the lot at the moment so I'm posting this here in case someone is interested.  All miners are opened but working great.

Shipping within North America is included.  Super fast UPS Express is also available for cheap, inquire for the rate.

Pics available on request.

edit: the USBs are mostly black, red, and yellow (gold).  I think 10 silvers in there.
10  Other / Off-topic / Can anyone translate this.. Japanese word. on: September 27, 2013, 01:39:39 AM
Hey!  If anyone happens to speak Japanese.. A friend of mine is looking for a car accessory and we don't know the name of it.  It is listed in a catalog and we scanned the text for it:

Through some translator program we were able to figure out that the first part is the word 'fender' which is right.  We just don't know the last 5 characters.

Let me know if you are able to come up with anything.  There are a lot of apps for phones that do translation but not very many PC programs that do images.

13  Economy / Goods / Introducing Coinverters! Plastic Bitcoin/Litecoin wallets cards! on: June 23, 2013, 11:18:53 PM
Greetings!

I have a new product!  The Coinverters wallet cards.  I have improved the production process to the point where I can happily ship 100's of cards at a time, so now is a good time to announce it.

I posted an auction about the Bitcoin cards a week or so ago, and I've been selling them on Bitmit.

I have gotten the Litecoin cards to work perfectly too, and all the altcoins are easily done as well.  Feathercoin cards are coming next, which altcoin cards would you like to see?

I can also do 2-factor cards, but I have not integrated a web interface for it yet.

The prices on the Litecoin cards on the website are higher than what I would actually charge, just so I could have them as a buyable option.  As an introductory offer, I will sell them for 1 LTC each + face value, and shipping.  I usually ship them in an envelope with a stamp on it so even international can ship for about $2.

Post here if you have any comments, suggestions, or questions!

Here's a few cards we have made, don't like the artwork?  Order 50 or more cards to put your own image on the card.

17  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTT] BFL Jalapeno BNIB for ASICMINER shares on: June 05, 2013, 07:44:00 PM
Hey!

I just got more tracking numbers from BFL.

All of my 7/14 orders have shipped, I sold one in an auction a few days ago but there are still 5 more that are available.  The first one which has sold already will arrive in a few days so I'll post a picture of it (still sealed) to show that I'm not crazy before I ship it out, there are 5 more coming I estimate mid-next week-ish.

All I really want are more ASICMINER shares.

Looking for 10 direct shares per Jalapeno.

PM or post here!
18  Economy / Auctions / [AUCTION] My BFL's have shipped! Jalapenos in hand (soon) BNIB SEALED. on: June 01, 2013, 06:31:05 AM
Well, at least one has shipped.  I have an order for 1 jalapeno that I now have a tracking number for and it's on it's way to my house.  It could be yours, without the box even been open yet.  I really don't want to sell, but if I can get the coins I paid to preorder it in the first place I'd be happy.  I also have 6 coming that I would sell, most of them order #'s are very close to the one that is shipped, all ~#2200 orders and a #3000 order so I might actually get a few next week.

This auction is for ONE (1) SEALED BFL Jalapeno.  The winner has the option to secure additional units that are coming.

Each bid in the final minutes will extend the auction by 10 minutes.

Auction ends at 00:00 on the following clock (June 4th, 00:00:00 UTC.)

Timer removed. End time: 2013-06-4+00:00:00UTC

Opening bid: 24.99 BTC.

Minimum bid increment: 0.01 BTC.

20  Economy / Auctions / [ANN] [Auction] 10 lots of 10 5-bitcent loaded wallet cards [100 x 0.05 BTC] on: May 24, 2013, 08:55:40 PM

Economical physical Bitcoins!

10 lots of 10 cards!

1 card = 0.05 BTC

1 lot = 10 cards = 0.5 BTC face value per lot

More pictures:

https://i.imgur.com/1FJBIzv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xskEyYQ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/DFUMjJK.jpg

The bidding:

The bidding rule is similar to the forum advertisement auction's. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=172934.0) Each lot of 10 cards is allocated a bidding slot and each bidder posts a quantity and a price (for each lot) as the bid order. When the auction ends, the highest bidders will have their slots filled until all 10 slots are filled. We copy the more detailed explanation below:

So if someone bids for 7 slots @ 5 BTC and this is the highest bid, then he'll get all 7 slots. If the two highest bids are 7 slots @ 4 BTC and 1 slot @ 5 BTC, then the first person will get 6 slots and the second person will get 1 slot.

The notation "2 @ 5" means 2 slots for 5 BTC each. Not 2 slots for 5 BTC total.

Highest bidding lots receive the lowest serialed cards, for example, the top bidder receives #002 to #011, 2nd highest gets #012 to #021.

Bidding starts at 0.5 BTC per lot of 10 cards (face value) in increments of at least 0.01 BTC.  Auction ends when this timer reads 00:00:00:00, no "snipe protection extensions".

Timer removed. End time: 2013-05-27+21:00:00UTC

The cards:

These are the first of MANY cards I will be producing.  The only card I am keeping is #001, but this auction is for cards #002 to #101.  As potential collectors items, having the lowest serial numbers is usually worth hanging on to so these might just be gems in the future.

Happy bidding!  Feel free to post questions!

Shipping:

I will ship these for free for these anywhere in USA/Canada, add 0.2 BTC per order for anywhere else.

Cheers! Smiley
