This warning becomes necessary especially for newbies from Nigeria, and other African countries, because say I know most na newbies in cryptocurrency Industry go easily dey carried away to promote anything on their social media and others' personal profiles like WhatsApp or even creating promotional group to market those scam projects.
Be guided that once the project becomes an exit scam, you will be picked as the coperator of the scam, not knowing that you were just paid $100 or even less in some cases to promote them on your centralized social media.
As a newbie looking for a pathway way in the Cryptocurrency Industry and in this forum make sure to avoid bounties campaigns for local crypto investment projects mostly off the forum, e.g Cbex promoters most of the investment or trading bot any projects that promises high return is mostly scam be careful avoid Greed nothing like get rich quick no fast money any where.

As the political atmosphere keeps changing as regards Nigeria's government stances as regards digital assets and forex trading, unlike what we used to see, where crypto trading and forex trading were initially banned by the sec, recent developments have shown a shift in regulatory outlook and a lot is happening to encourage digital skills and at such. Recently the government came up with this initiative. https://fmino.gov.ng/fg-signs-mou-to-train-100000-youths-annually-in-forex-trading.

I stumbled upon this bet on BC games in my local currency naira, and from my analysis of the game's selection, I see high-risk tendencies and potential losses coming ahead, so to escape that I think the best approach is to cash out such available amount. What do you think of this multiple betting with a high staked amount and with an available cash-out balance? Do you take the cash knowing you have the possibility of losing all? Will you wait for all the games to play out to hit your jackpot ground prize?

This is for the newbies to Bitcoin and bitcointalk at large, urging you to take your privacy and compliance seriously, since regulations from various governments are beginning to take interest in Bitcoin transactions, and just as the phrase goes. (Not your keys, not your coins), knowing that makes you stay guided on how you handle your Bitcoin transactions to avoid losing your assets to AML and other compliances.
Note: there are some red spots that regulations state for coin receptions, such as Bitcoin mixers and a few gambling sites, although the majority of the centralized regulated Bitcoin wallet hosters like exchange high restrictions on deposits from Bitcoin mixers, whereas are linen on gambling deposits.
To be on the safer side and not lose your bitcoin, because of regulatory compliances, from a centralized exchange wallet, it is better you first receive any bitcoin payment into your wallet, that you control with your private key/wallet seed phrase saved and can restore the wallet anytime.
Bitcoin global payment is taking shape, and a lot of services are now paid using Bitcoin, and at that, we have to take the security of our Bitcoin seriously, by making sure that we are the custodial of our Bitcoin before anything.

As we have growing number of newbies coming into our local board and from Nigeria at large, i come see say the need to create a topic as regards to p2p privacy consciousness become highly important for us to start a topics like this, since we know how the hustle for privacy and to avoid p2p/governments problems and the safety of our bitcoin assets, as we all are aware about the cryptocurrency climb down in Nigeria and how political it has become to holdin recent years.
For over a long period of time, in the crypto space, we, I have experienced alot as regards to how best to exchange our bitcoin assets into Naira, best form of p2p is through physical contact but yes that comes with it own security dangers, so online p2p platforms like remitano which seems to be one of the oldest means of carrying out p2p transactions online happens to be the most less demanding in terms of kyc demands to carry out a p2p transactions on their platform, most especially for the small transactions up to $1000.
I also know that, there are others who have similar privacy enhancing kyc procedure as p2p exchange, but i decided to mentioned only remitano, but you all are free to add your best privacy enhance p2p exchange in Nigeria, at least for a forum newbies, since what you require to exchange your naira to dollar's is just an email/phone verifications for level1 accounts,it sound privacy enhancing enough for p2p to be recommended for forum newbies not to expose entities all in the name of trying to carry out p2p transactions.
Newbies read learn, in this industry, your privacy is the key to you safety, so take it with all seriousness, cryptocurrency space is flooded with both the good and bad so your data and asset remains your most protected assets in the cryptocurrency space so guid them carefully.
Welcome: Newbies and OGs can learn from this also.
Please drop your contributions and recommendations on the best privacy enhancing cryptocurrency p2p platform in Nigeria/Africa, in this thread.

For over a year plus I have been an active trader's mostly I trade on derivative market, oh yeah the most risky form of trading, since you can blow off your balance to liquidation if the market goes against your position, but that is not why we are here with this topic, but let dive into it straight away.
Future derivative trading is liken to gambling since both activities have similar outcomes and results which is either you gain it all your you lose everything, but with proper management one can still make something out of this risky trading pattern but once you hit the jackpot, it becomes almost a go to point whenever you want to trade.
So the question is, can one becomes addicted to trading same way gambling can be addictive?
If yes what are the sign to know that one is becoming a trading addicts?

Alot of speculation have gone under ways lately and many of us know that alot will still come as time goes on, this is most important because at some point it's important to acknowledge current bitcoin market gains and record of another all time high which was unexpected by many bitcoin short term speculators.
So at some point, with the current results and bitcoin market price. What is the best short term position to take, is this the right time to buy or we should wait a bit since the market can still take whatever direction, bit it important to note that we extempore positive market movement.

Recently one of my fellow gamblers was stocked on a popular gambling site here in this forum a reputable and popular casino, what happened was that he requested a withdrawal and it got delayed when he reached out to support the response he got (can you start by naming your other accounts) this at first sounds as if the gambler has multiple accounts and he is abusing the casino and that the reasons for his withdrawal delay.
Low and behold few days ago his withdrawal later came through and his wallet was credited with exactly the amount, so this leads us to conclude that, some support agents may likely be making some statements that are out of the reality of things.
Casinos need to be more professional in their support handles and stop acting like scams sometimes.

Lately, politicians have not limited their activities to fighting for political offices and positions but rather have dived into so many other sectors such as interest in Tech and cryptocurrency as we have seen lately with some global leaders getting to the center stage in both tech and cryptocurrency.
My question is, do we have any notable casino that is been run or owned by any known politician like Trump or another leader?

No be news again with the recent climb down on cryptocurrency merchants and POS agent's around the country, CBN in it quest to limit the financial strength of individuals banking and agent banking, this move have become increasingly negative on the merchants and P2p trader's within the cryptocurrency space in Nigeria. The latest regulations means that no p2p merchant can perform more that 1.2 million naira transactions daily and we all know the volume of p2p pos dependence by merchants most especially those with high volumes trading amount. The implications of this is that, we may have limited buy order requests on p2p I the coming year since most p2p merchants will run out of daily with just few transactions, this could force the price of dollars to come down on the p2p market place. What do you guys think about this development! Read news: https://businessday.ng/technology/article/cbn-slams-n1-2m-daily-limit-on-pos-agents/

The holiday's is around the corner and is going to be a long one most especially for those remote workers, freelancer and CEO who have control of their time and can space out enough to go on holidays this season, infact to some, this summer holidays is a tradition for them, so for that there is no missing at this period of the year.
Now the thing that have being bordering me this season is, how to combine the holidays with gambling, since to most of us here gambling is somewhat a way of life for us, and we often gamble as much as possible and we all know how sensitive gambling is and how bad it is to mix gambling with other activities, so I want to put this question to the house.
What will you rather do this holiday. 1: Avoid gambling until after the holidays? 2: make out time within the holiday to gamble a bit?

When we talk about bull market we talking of a 2x price appreciation, and let take bitcoin for example, who profits more between a long term and me holder who bought bitcoin at a price range of $35,000 and bitcoin reaching $100,000, so a trader who open his trading position of 10 and with a good amount of capital around when the price is 71,000, so between the two who stand the chance of profiting more putting into consideration the timing that it involved for both parties.
Taking this question out of my personal curiosity of the market and how each bull run. Ale more millionaires in the bitcoin ecosystem, via trading vs holding.

My people I say make we put mouth for this issue of creating Nigeria related economic topics outside our local board it doesn't make sense to me and I know it doesn't make sense to other local board members.
I don't want to include links to such threads such threads are mostly found in the economic board, it may make sense to you but then, is more sensible to discuss those topics here in our local board, which will increase our activities and the same time get the right audience, cryptocurrency related threads are on the decline in our local board mean while our members are very active in creating such threads in the global board.
Abeg make we try the engage our local topics here in our board instead of taking it out of the local for whatever reasons
