Hello All, I managed to pick up a complete set of Ravenbit brass coins that were produced in the following amounts: Gray: 1/150 Green: 1/30 Yellow: 1/18 Red: 1/12 Orange: 1/6 Not in a huge rush to sell, but if the right offer came along then I'd be willing to part with them. It's a nice piece of bitcoin history and there is a maximum of 6 complete sets available. The coins are in excellent condition and have been kept in coin capsules while in my possession. |

I like to look around a variety of the boards here, but I have never seen such a consistent trend of one-sided spammers as I do when looking at the Politics section of the forum. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions and should be free to share them. What I don't think acceptable is never altering your position based on the facts and discussions presented to you - this is just blind ignorance or biased propaganda.
That seems to be happening a lot in the politics section of the forum, where 9 of 10 posts are some weird twist on an event involving Russia or a jab at someone who is taking a stand against them. When you question these people, you are frequently ignored or personally attacked - without reasonable answers being acknowledged.
These usernames appear frequently, along with a few "smaller" accounts which pop up:

I don't really know the solution, but perhaps removing any post count from registering in the politics section would slow these people down or remove the incentive for a wall of one-sided political spam.

Hello Folks, I started collecting crypto coins a couple years ago and have always been fascinated by these storage devices that sort of bridge the gap between the physical & virtual world. Many beautiful items have spawned in that time so the demand must be high, however I've always found it difficult to get a reference for some of the rarer items around. It usually involves searching these forums to find long lost threads or even ending up at the dead website link of a previous manufacturer. There was a hard back book released recently which helped address this situation and the digital version when released in full will be also be very useful. However I think there is room for a more frequently updated and flexible source of information - so I started building Item Ace. It is still in the very early stages, as I'm programming the structure for it right now. The key factors will be decent photos of the cryptocurrency objects, denominations, weight, measurements, mintage quantities. There will be listing pages so you can browse by supplier and a basic search function. It can lead on to another project that will be valuable to the community but will keep that for later. Now before fully taking the plunge, does anyone else see this being useful? Is there anything else that should be included? Will people be willing to contribute original photographs and input? It will be made flexible enough to display different crypto currencies, no value items (unloaded, disassembled), artwork and non-coin categories. |
