Hello my country people I greet una inside this evening, I was actually doing some assignments online and I came across a post  about Ray Youssef, Founder/ Chief Executive Officer of Paxful, a global peer-to-peer finance platform, who visited Nigeria months ago to discuss the opportunities in Cryptocurrency as a measure to stabilize the naira. So he was ask what could be done to address this depreciation of naira. he told the government the only way it will work is to take the Bitcoin from all those people transacting online and give them naira in exchange and then government can be in possession of all Bitcoins or crypto and turn them into dollars so as to bring more hard currencies into the country and that will help in stabilizing the naira.

So do you guys agree that the method could actually work? That crypto could help stabilize the falling naira, if so why is Nigeria not doing anything about that.

Omo nawa ooo, this country e get as e be ooo, people nava recover from the first fuel price way be 520 naira and they increase it to 620 e nava do them just this morning it was announced that fuel should be sell on the rate 720 naira per litter, things are really going to be though in this country, maybe the only way for us to survive is to diversify our means of transportation by going for electric car or motorcycle just like a topic created on this thread on how electric car will help to remedy lack of movement caused by increase of fuel, this is actually the time for it.

The cost of living in this country is something else ooh Very soon the price will rise to 1000 per litter, and the annoying part of it is that the increase has greatly affected food stuffs, things we normally buy on a certain amount is no longer sell on that way. Even gas price has also increase, the question now is that how much more can Nigerians take?

I greet everyone in the house, just want to share this topic for us to individually share knowledge, experience, impacts and internet awareness cryptocurrency has impacted on our lifes. The truth is that crypto can never be compare with most normal work, I no there are some good work that pays well but crypto life is one of the best, were as you don't need to be moving from one company to another and sometimes even getting a job you will be treated like  a slave, but in crypto you are the boss of your own, all you just need is a smart phone or a laptop to seat at your comfort zone and be making money without being noticed by anyone, though I no crypto work is not easy also but can never be compare with some physical job.

Just like the hardship in the country this time, cost of living is high most people barely see something that could be fetching them any small amount but in crypto life is a bit easy even if there are some lapses but is the best. Also through crypto awareness most people were able to navigate other ways of working online to earn a living.

The rate at which other altcoins are competiting with btc even when Bitcoin is the most reliable cryptocurrency in the market but though considering how far the price has gone, so many investors prefer other smaller altcoins to invest because of scared to lose money, so they prefer a good potential and chipper coins rather than investing on Bitcoin, with the current price of btc investors that has a laser amounts of money will be scared to invest because any slightest negative move affects the capital, take for instance you have $3k for investment and let say btc price is at $30k would you invest knowing that any negative moves affects your capital deeply?, though the market will surely bounce back but the level of profit will be very small but in times of other altcoins that has a low price should be more profitable were as any fluctuation will not seriously affect your capital.

I no that Bitcoin is the master of all coins and other coins can fail but btc can never failed, but majority of people are going for more smaller coins.

I'm not an investment adviser that will tell you what coins to invest I only stated my observation why most people consider smaller altcoins rather than btc but I may also be wrong with my observation so please share your views I'm here to learn.

Looking at this our Autocratic government were the wishes and opinions of citizens does not matter, I can't help but wonder how good, employment opportunities and less crime Nigeria would have been if we had someone like Jerry Rawlings a flight lieutenant of Ghana Airforce, I don't no if you have heard about him, a Ghanaian who stood by justice to make sure his country grows, so he discovered the country was corrupted by some dictators that wants power to rotate among themselves, while the poor continue to suffer, so after he evaluated there country situation, the only way he could bring back there unity and good government was to kill all there bad political leaders in other for the country to grow, so he did according to his plan and it worked, those that were found guilty were sentence to death by firing squad and now look how organized the country is, most Nigerians are now traveling to Ghana for a quality education.

imagine if something like that was done in Nigeria, what do you think Nigeria would have been, do you think the country would have still remain like this or  more better? Please share your opinion.

I want to use this opportunity to acknowledge the importance and good impact the forum has done on our individual lives,  first I want to acknowledged the founder whose identity is unknown but called "Satoshi Nakamoto". Unlike other platform that existed for sometime and later crashed, but Bitcointalk forum is here to stay. The forum has provided an avenue were people that has no knowledge about crypto to come and learn from higher members and be aquinted with crypto knowledge, gone are those days when you pay or looking for people to show you how the crypto works and for you to venture into it, as such you will be charged for the services, but these forum does not only educate you about crypto but also provides a platform were you can be working to make some money after getting to certain Level such as Signature Campaign.

To me these forum is like a news channels because it has almost all the sectors were you could get information about crypto, economics, and Local Board which comprises of different countries sharing information about their country through there local boards.

I believe that through this forum so many persons has achieved something, please the floor is yours to share your knowledge and experience on how the forum has helped you in one way or the other.

I don't no if you guys have actually observe it that almost everybody believes that every online work including cryptocurrency are yahoo guys, because I have been in a situation were someone came to me to ask what I'm always doing online with my system instead of going out to look for work and I felt really bad because it was not once. In this digital era I still don't no why people feels there is no way to make money online aside from doing Yahoo without knowing that there are so many opportunities online that could fetch you cool money, I no online are comprises of both Yahoo and non Yahoo guys so I think people should be able to distinguish between them instead of Generailizing them.

I have been reffered to join some signal groups but considering how everyone is claiming to no almost everything about Bitcoin trading which actually they did not, which resulted for many people to lose their money because of Crypto signal groups, were as they put almost all their money thinking the signal is a sure, little did they know they were making a terrible mistake.

I could remember a Bitcoin signal group I joined, as someone that has less knowledge about trading and how sure the group signal works, so I decided to seat back and watch how the trade will work, on the contrary it moves opposite direction and that was not the first time, what they normally do was to get some screenshots from other successful traders and posted on there telegram group to draw more attention so people could pay before joining. Though from my findings from othe traders I was able to deduce that not all group signals are false that most times it works exactly the way they predicted and most time reversal.

As you would for any investment, understand exactly what you’re investing on by having enough knowledge about how it works.

Risk
You cannot be profitable if you do not know how to accept the risk, majority of people ignoring it and that is why they keep losing. Be aware on how much money you can incur before the trade and in that way you can have an idea if the investment is worth it or not.

Remember the Past is Past
A mistake that many new investors make is looking at the past and extrapolating that to the future. Yes, Bitcoin used to be worth pennies, but now is worth much more, so investors look to the future, not to what an asset has done in the past. I came across a post made on this forum by someone that says he has $20k for investment as such he was looking for people to advice him on how to go about it, for me it was actually a bad idea consorting everyone for investment advice because you could be lured by scammers to invest on a shitcoin as such loosing all your money because of lack of knowledge about Bitcoin or any investment in general, as someone that has no idea on investment I think the first thing was research google to learn more and also the risk involves. so I was thrilled to create this topic, so everyone could help by sharing there own knowledge on what someone that has no knowledge about investment should no before venturing into.

I may not be the right person for investment advice that's why I'm asking everyone to share their advice, views and knowledge incase something like this should come up, so people could learn and no what must be done before going into investment.

I'm actually disappointed that a whole country like Nigeria doesn't have a price control, imagine our Baba presido just announced suspension of fuel subsidy and the next day all the fuel station done high there prices, I wonder how long is going to take for it to come back to it normal state. Imagine were you normally pay a certain amount and now because of the fuel price you have to pay x times two, to even make the matter worst, some fuel station are not selling for now based on the fact that they had information that fuel will increase more soon so they prefer to  reserve and sell high.


I don't really no what is wrong with this country almost all the sector are corrupt, no more human rights, police are doing the work of road safety, people are more afraid of police than any other thing on the road because they will always find a fault to extot from you, I don't really no why is like that.

The government does not even care how the less privilege are managing to survive, well one thing I love about most Nigerians is that regardless of how difficult it is to survive in this country people always device means to survive.

hello everyone, an issue was brought to my notice by a friend concerning a Bounty manager called "
Bounty Star" he brought a bounty called "BITCOIN FUTURE", from my findings it was stated that the bounty was ESCROWED to him by the project owner which was $15K to pay the hunters after project ends. so from my findings the bounty started on February 12, 2023, 04:00:32 AM and lasted for six weeks which 26 March was the last day but the the total number of stakes was calculated and finalized on 25 march.

on that finalized spreadsheet the Article, Tiktok was just only 1 stakes per accepted hunters but to my greatest surprise some strange names whom did not participate on the bounty was inputted by Bounty Star and was given 5 and 4 sakes, so i was i very curious to know how come about those names so i decided to track those names listed bellow:

There are still so many fake names and deferent wallet address on the spreadsheets but when they noticed the complaining of hunters they decided to hide the wallet addresses.

i believe Bounty Star was paid handsomely by the project owners, why then go for hunters reward, from my findings 80% of the bounty Allocation was stolen by Bounty Star and left with hunters nothing.

A friend told me they use his username on the spreadsheets and when he confronted them on the chart, they his message.
