1  Other / Off-topic / How does a computer in an IPV4 network communicate with a computer in an IPV6? on: January 29, 2024, 06:02:13 AM
My Cell modem only supports IPv6 addressing. I can browse the Internet and access IPv4 addresses using it.  However, the destination host is returned as inaccessible when I attempt to ping this IPv6 address on a cell modem from an IPv4 network. I would like clarification on the following queries:

1. Can a PC connected to an IPv4 network—which may have firewalls, NAT, and other security measures—access IPv6 addresses with little to no modification? Despite my attempts, the Teredo service only appeared to function for a short while before I lost the ability to connect with IPv6 addresses. I want to talk to IPv6 directly, so is there a way for me to go beyond the internal network layer?

2. Is it possible for me to use a VNC service, for example, on a computer linked to an IPv6 mobile modem from a standard IPv4 network?

Could you also tell me where I can get some research and understanding of this kind of problem?
2  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Another suggestion if you wan use table for bitcointalk on: January 02, 2024, 08:17:53 PM
Original Topic: Some suggestions if you want to use tables on Bitcointalk

Author: 1miau

Dis table way you day see e day very useful when you wan share some information or content for a list or table and e day improve the way and how e day show. For any line you fit list similar informations instead wey you go day post each information for one line, dis one go make your posting very short and clear instead of long list.

example:

Dis one nah the Normal Format style:

Cryptocurrency: Bitcoin
Ticker: BTC
Price: $10,900
Circulating supply: 17,700,000 BTC
Marketcap: $193,000,000,000
Mineable?: yes

Cryptocurrency: Ethereum
Ticker: ETH
Price: $310
Circulating supply: 106,600,000 ETH
Marketcap: $33,000,000,000
Mineable?: yes

dis one nah example for theTable:

CryptocurrencyTickerPrice (in $)Circulating supplyMarketcap (in $)Mineable?
___________________________________________________________________________________________
BitcoinBTC10,90017,700,000 BTC193,000,000,000yes
EthereumETH310106,600,000 ETH33,000,000,000yes

another steady table layouts

You see dis Formatting tables fit be somehow difficult sometimes oo, but for here there get some of my trust layouts to keep the table clear and easy for you to read:

1. When you wan use ___ for your table layout

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Code:
[table]
[tr]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Dis _____ go guarantee say your table get enough space between columns. If you wan have more or less space between your columns you go just add or delete a few _

But If you no add them your table will look like dis:

CryptocurrencyTickerPrice (in $)Circulating supplyMarketcap (in $)mineable?
BitcoinBTC10,90017,700,000 BTC193,000,000,000yes
EthereumETH310106,600,000 ETH33,000,000,000yes
(E no too fine for my opinion oo )

You fit add many other columns to the table if you just add 1x
Code:
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td]

to the top of the table and
Code:
[td]xxx[/td]
to the content wey day the table. And make you no forget to add
Code:
[td]__________________[/td]
if you don add new column.

2. If you wan use | for your table layout

You fit also use | for your table layout:

xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|
xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|

Code:
[table]
[tr]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]

[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

3. If you wan use both ___ and | for your table layout

Yes, for sure you fit use the both:

xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|
_________________|_________________|_________________|_________________|_________________|_________________|
xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|xxx|

Code:
[table]
[tr]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[td][b]xxx[/b][/td] [td]|[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]_________________[/td] [td]|[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[td]xxx[/td] [td]|[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Yes, E dat possible to join different type of variants how you like am.
If you get other suggestions you fit post it for  here and I go create a small collection for useful table formatting styles.

Another additional information:

If you wan include pictures for your table, you go need to leave the first table line empty if you no go use ___ or similar because if you no go add am or you no go leave the first table row empty, your picture no go size am correct.D same thing dey applly for text of course. More information dey here and here.

And again if you wan  read more on top of dis  tables (full explanation inToto ), you go get am for here: Tutorial - How to create Table in the BitcoinTalk Forum.

3  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Bitcointalk and Reflinks: make wuna no do referral-spam, ahbeg. on: December 30, 2023, 04:02:13 PM
Original Topic: Bitcointalk and reflinks: don't produce refspam, please

Author: 1miau

When you they deal with cryptocurrencies you go hear about something called reflinks very soon, Reflinks wey they know as referral links or affiliate links, they don design this links wey fit lead you to a page where you go fit register to use the service. E fit dey possible you too go get your own reflink from the website of the service, if you too come login to your account, if you too come day share your reflink other people(users) come click on it and they sign in to the service, the person wey day click on him reflink to register to the service go get small commission as him don refer another person (user).
Reflinks day different form normal links, because if person share reflink him go get small commission, and reflink day show for the link because normally for reflink you go see individual latter / number combination or even username.

So, reflink don day very popular because the person way get the reflink fit get small something if him share the link.
Unfortunately, the fact way they cause this things called “Refspam” na him you go see say them day post Reflinks anyhow just to get people(users) way go fit register through the reflink. Nah because of this bitcointalk bring rules we go prevent dis “Refspam”.

4. No referral code (ref link) spam.
Source: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

If you go post reflink dey go delete your post, and if person(you) continue to dey post refspam posts, dey fit ban (temporarily) him account in bitcointalk, so make wona day very careful and make wona no day post reflinks.

E get some special causes , wey they fit tolerate reflinks like if you include am in a very informative reply / description wey go add value, a person wey get site who want track traffic coming from bitcoin talk or similar where e dey very clear say e no be ref-spam.

If you dey doubt the link make you avoid your self to enter trouble you should just follow the rules and make you use the legal way to use reflinks in bitcointalk.

1.) Reflinks wey day your signature
It Is allowed make you use reflinks for your own signature. If you wan to put or wear signature to your account, your account most reach at least jr member, but e no day possible to click the link in signature of jr member, other people (users) will have to copy them in URL by them selves. In Members and above you go fit click the link wey day their signature.

E go be describe for number 2.) how you go fit change your personal signature.

2.) Use reflinks as a website for your profile

You fit link Reflinks to your own profile page and referenced in a post. How you go fit link a reflink in your own profile page works go dey as follows:
Choose Profile for your profile => Forum Profile Information and for there you fit put your reflink for the Website URL. If you like, you fit choose a name for the Website title, wey go show for your profile in Website.

For Profile => Forum Profile Information you go see the option to change your personal signature.

For a normal post in this forum you fit point out say you have a link for your profile at  "Website". E go look like this:

3. Refliks for your personal text

E fit day possible to post your referral link as personal text. You fit find it in your account settings, explain by sheenshane here. E go work if your link no too long because your personal text get limit  and you fit use only a limited number of character.

Kudos to hugeblack wey suggest dis one.

I dey hope say dis small guide fit help you to avoid the misunderstandings if you day inside people wey dey honestly share their reflink.
But ahbeg , make wuna no spam reflinks for normal posts, make you better use the method I don explain for up. Refspam dey annoy person and e no dey allowed self. And if you dey abuse dis method to create sigspam / spam to refer to your reflink in your profile you fit also get problem oo. Better be careful  Smiley

4  Economy / Economics / The steps to follow in creating a budget on: December 28, 2023, 06:07:51 AM
Marry Christmas and happy new year.
It comes to me to share my knowledge with others, but I am sure some might know the steps in creating a budget, but it might be that they are not following it effectively. I hope if I share such knowledge, it will help a lot, especially in the season we are in now. I know that as we have already celebrated Christmas, we have spent much of our savings, which we are still going to spend more on when it comes to the New Year celebration, so I take this as a reason to share such information with others so others will not suffer, especially after all this celebration, so I will list and explain the steps in creating a budget.

The steps in the budget include

1. Determine your income: As the first step in creating a budget, you have to know your total income in terms of what you can afford. Do not write a budget that is more than your income and end up not achieving anything at the end because your income determines your budget, so let's take note of our income first. This income might include your weekly, monthly, or even yearly income, as well as side hustles and any other source of income.

2. Identify where your money is going: The second step in creating a budget is to track your expenses. This is also very important because, without knowing how you usually spend your money, you will end up writing a budget that you can’t even stick to. More over, expenses include housing, transportation, food, entertainment, gambling, and so on. When you have identified where your money is going, you can categorise it into groups. For instance, clothing, house rent fees, and others should all be in the category of housing. If that is done, you have definitely achieved your second step in creating a budget.

3. identify or set an achievable goal: This is the third step in creating a budget when you have identified your income, tracked your expenses, and categorised them. Why I say achievable goal is that you have to set a goal that you can achieve either long-term or short-term. For instance, you might save money in order to pay your debts, invest the money, or even pay for housing and any other expenses, such as buying valuable and usable items that won’t be a liability to you.

4. Start creating the budget or priorities for your expenses: This is the next step, for me. This is the step where you will start writing the budget. It is not that you won’t write those other steps I mentioned earlier; you will also write them, but this is the stage where you will allocate some amount of money to the categories that you have created at the second step, and you have to make sure that it aligns with your priorities. After allocating a certain amount of money to those categories, you should make sure that you keep some of it as emergency funds; it is also important.

5. Review the budget; in some cases, I mean monitoring, evaluation, or adjustment of the budget. This is like the final stage in creating a budget, although this stage is a continuous process because this stage never comes to an end unless you have purchased all that you have put in your budget to achieve this process, including regular adjustments as needed to accommodate and adjust your budget. This is done in case something comes up, such as the use of the emergency fund that you keep as a category for things like an increase in the price of what you intend to buy for medical expenses, which might be an emergency, and many others. In this step, you must track your budget very carefully and with caution to make sure you have achieved it.

The steps I have listed above are the ones I follow whenever I want to write a budget. You can change this step in many ways. For instance, a gambler can use it, but it will be more effective with the amount he needs for the gambling, and he should make sure he follows the track, so stick to the budget to avoid the source of unusual spending.

5  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / D RISKS WEY DEY EXODUS EXCHANGE FUNCTIONS ( HOW COINSWITCH SCAM PEOPLE ) on: December 16, 2023, 07:03:27 AM
Original Topic: Risks of the Exodus exchange function (“coin switch scam”)

Author: 1miau

I go just they leave dis tori for here as I dey hear say plenty newcomers dey use exodus together with the exchanges function as fah say the thing no get wahala to use (but e cost oo)
But as the matter day go e no tey wey some bad experience don they sub oo as some people wey they use am don dey bring the matter come Reddit. I no sure say this scam happened to small number of people wey day use the wallet but sha e no be one big issue like dat, but newcomers suppose dey know say the matter don happen to people, so as them dey use dis exodus of a thing make them dem dey extra careful and aware say e get as e be.
People wey them they use this thing suppose know say exodus no be exchange on it own ooo, but common a normal computer wallet wey join hand with coinswitch so that dem go fit perform exchange. Dis exchange of cryptocurrencies wey they sub for exodus no be only them day do am but with the other partners dem join hand with, so exodus dey send this cryptocurrencies so dat dem go fit exchange am with their partners dem. So tey The end of 2018 wen them exodus joins hand with another partner again called shapeshift, wey they work from Switzerland and Denver. E come reach the time wen the SEC (U.S securities exchange commission) say make the exodus bring KYC to dem wallet, na dat time exodus begin dey look for another partner wey them go join hand with.
Dis function e day under the performance of 5 provides, dis 5 provides include changelly, coinswitch and many of them, but sha report don drop as people wey dey use the exchange feature don dey complain of losing their coins

Some month wey don pass people they wey them don they complain give about it on Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ExodusWallet/comments/e6rydc/beware_exodus_exchange_scam_ripped_75_via/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/ei0h8m/coinswitch_exodus_scammed_6500_euro_coinswitch/
https://www.reddit.com/r/ExodusWallet/comments/egphm2/exodus_coinswitch_are_a_huge_scam/

This nah small tori on how them scam them:

Some people don use the exchange function in exodus and them don sent the coins, but the coins wey them exchange no come back as them promise. After they don contact the exodus nah him them tell them to contact their partners wey day incharge of the coin exchange which is the coinswitch.

Some of the people wey be victim of this don do so to contact coinswitch, but coinswitch no gree do the exchange for them and still dey no come give them their money back again, including the money wey them suppose give as compensation for the cost of transactions. Coinswitch come say they must do the exchange and request for complete KYC or they go block all the money:

Source

They don freezes another person 6500$ and him don send the request information for the KYC o .
After the coinswitch don receive the information wey him send, they no still gree return the person coins for am but tell him say make him send video with complete information, him do dat one oo but still e no enough them and coinswitch say make him prove where him get the money from.
After him don do that one again, still them no gree release him money for him, e come reach the stage wey him mount pressure on coinswitch, him come do post for Reddit an him come lucky Exodus come day him side nah his coinswitch come return the coin o

=> E come be like say coinswitch try use KYC scope to scam the people oo (the users) and steal their coins.

Last last, I go say all this cases wey I don bring no be them be the major ones o but the unexpected ones, but sha no be only people wey get big amounts be victim o but even the people with small small amount fall for victim also. But sha I no blame Exodus but coinswitch because nah them day Incharge of all this coin exchange, which them come dey put doubt for people mind by freezing their coins, but after all this palaba people wey they use am still lose their coins o.

The question wey I get here be say after 2018 you don use Exodus for coins exchange again and him dey work well?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / More clarification on sane miniscript and valid miniscript on: December 02, 2023, 07:13:39 AM
I was conducting research and, at the same time, studying to understand more about the smooth running of bitcoin. I came across a content miniscript. Reading deep in it, I came across two types of miniscript, which are sane miniscript and valid miniscript. Although I read and understood a bit of it, I knew that sane miniscript is a scripting language that was also created for the simple and enhanced flexibility in the creation of bitcoin transactions, and it also allowed users to create complex spending conditions for their transactions in a more simple and reliable way. While a valid miniscript focuses on or adheres to the rules and syntax of the miniscript language, valid miniscripts are used to define the spending conditions of transactions. These conditions can include some requirements like multi-signature approval, time lock, etc. I hope I am not going out of the box, but just going on the way.

The main reason for creating this thread is to understand more and also to know the advantages of both the sane miniscript and the valid miniscript. I know I will have more explanations from other intellects.
7  Other / Meta / I raise a motion to create a board where health issues can be discussed. on: November 02, 2023, 09:42:37 PM
Greetings, fellow members, and other high-ranking members in this forum.
Today I decided to pass a motion after adequate research for some months in which I discovered that bitcoin talk is not a forum that focuses on only educating each other about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency but also a community that we discussed, which I am sure most of us in this forum spent more time here than in the physical society, so the motion I came with is that why can’t they create a section or board where health and other health-related issues can be discussed?
Because of the look of things, there are many challenges of health facing the world at large, so if a board is created where health issues can be discussed, I am sure those that are always in the forum can know some solutions to their health issues without even seeing a physician because not all health issues require a physical or doctor; some issues need counselling, so I will be glad if there is a board or section where health issues can be discussed. For instance, in gambling, politics and society, economics, and many others, discussions have been made, and with a health board, a better understanding of our health issues can be identified immediately.

If the need to see a doctor is needed, you can go in time, so all suggestions are welcome.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / What exactly is mainly stored on a hardware wallet? on: October 30, 2023, 04:52:04 AM
Even after a few days of study, there are still some concepts that I still don't fully understand and some that I find difficult to grasp. For that reason, I've chosen to submit such concepts here in order to receive additional clarity. As far as I can tell, your cryptocurrency is stored on the public ledger under a public key; your hardware wallet holds your private key, which is used to verify that you are the owner of the public key or wallet; and you set a password to secure your hardware wallet something that is easier to remember than a complete hash of your private key.

I find it confusing that when you create a hardware wallet, you are required to write down a 12-word "recovery phrase" in order to restore your wallet in the event that it is misplaced.
What makes this any different from simply leaving your wallet at home and writing down your private key on the same piece of paper? What use does a hardware wallet serve if you have to write down what is effectively your private key anyhow?
9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / What are the benefits of hosting a lighting clearnet node? on: October 24, 2023, 04:34:27 PM
I looked into the operation of clearnet nodes. The benefits of hosting a lighting clearnet node as opposed to one behind the TOP proxy. Can somebody clarify what we get from that, perhaps in a list of bullet points? Will that lead to a rise in usage? Or is it more important that you can access it from any device, anywhere?
I'm specifically requesting the benefits. You can, however, draw attention to the drawbacks as well.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / How are the connector batches in the transaction for Ark pool? on: October 19, 2023, 06:22:34 AM
Hello, I was conducting research for a project when, as usual, I reached a point that I didn't understand. Since I knew this forum would help me grasp it better and learn more, I decided to bring it up.

Transactions include two primary outputs associated with the protocol, depending on the source or the information pool:

1. vTXOs output
2. the output connection

I am aware that the output of a vTXO is a psbt binary tree, where each leaf represents a vTXO.
Is the connector (binary tree) format the same? Or does it split the connector's output into X dust outputs using a single (virtual) psbt?
11  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Does a bitcoin transaction have a source address? on: October 11, 2023, 06:26:19 AM
Good day, my fellow members in this forum. I need some clarification about bitcoin transactions.

I am aware that UTXO, which includes an input script and an output script, is the foundation of a bitcoin transaction. However, I recently discovered that Bitcoin Explorer lists source addresses for transactions. I wonder if the source address indicated there is the same as the one in the output script from the previous transaction, which also serves as the input script for this transaction.

12  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW IMPORTANT BEING HUMBLE IS? on: October 10, 2023, 07:10:16 PM
I promise you that once you realise that nothing belongs to you or to your self, you will love being humble.

* We brag about our bodies, our homes, our property, our finances, our spouses, our partners, our kids, our parents, and everything else. But it comes to an end. Boasting! If you really think about it, you'll realise that we don't own any of those items. They are solely available to us in order to lessen the required restrictions of our stay here. (Earth)*

* Even if you purchase a piece of property or a home, you will only have paid rent for the time you are still on Earth. None of them are yours.

* If you purchase a car, you have only paid for transportation for the duration that the car or you will last. You are not the owner of it.

* If you marry your spouse, you only have each other until things fall apart or you pass away. One does not possess the other.

* If you have offspring, you have only satisfied the requirement for life to continue until death. You do not possess them. Because of this, the State still controls how you raise them.

* If you have money, you have only accumulated enough to buy what you desire for while long you have left on Earth. The Central Bank is the owner of the notes.

* Your pension is only guaranteed for life if you work and retire. When you die, it ends.

* The food in your stomach isn't yours, even if you eat and feel full. It must be expelled back to Earth.

The body itself, which you value so greatly, is not yours.

When the loan is due, the Earth will unquestionably reclaim its fragments.

Even the life we currently lead is a loan that will undoubtedly be repaid.

We should thus let go of our fear of losing anything in this life because we have nothing to lose. We shall either lose everything we believe to be ours, or everything we believe to be ours will be taken away from us at some point. That day is one that none of us are aware of.

So, if you feel like you have lost something, remember that nothing was really yours, not even your life. Never lose your head, your cool, your anger, your values, or your vitality.

Therefore, my fellow members in the forum, be modest; the affluent and the poor both belong to this life cycle.
13  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Some economical fact of household income on: October 06, 2023, 09:16:04 AM
Actually, as for the needs of the household, it will be based on the income of the family, so I will bring some knowledge to share on economics.
In economics, there are what we call WANT and NEEDS. These two words mean a lot, and everyone is supposed to know more about them,to know where they are going in this life, and again, after knowing this thing, there is BUDGET. I will also explain it.

 NEED
In economics, need is those things in life that you need, but it is not most likely that without them you can’t live or your life will be affected. This need comprises things like cars, expensive clothes, jewellery, gold, etc., so all these things that I have mentioned are needs; if you have them, you will still live, and if you don’t have them, you will still live. So these items are not most likely that someone had to put himself or herself in a bad act or even depression just to have them, so let's confabulate and understand those things and be able to differentiate them in our daily activities.

WANT
These are items or goods that, without them, you can’t live in life. They are food, clothes, shelter, etc., so all these are what you want in your life for a smooth life, even though you are not living an expensive life. Without these key things, I don’t think you can live.
And also, we do make mistakes in differentiating between want and need. For instance, if you have 45,000 naira and you have many things on your mind as a student, you need to use that money for a month. You need to change your phone to ease your educational research, and you are out of books and food to eat. Here,  you want books and food, while you need to change to a new phone.

BUDGET
Almost everyone knows what a budget is, but let me explain: a budget is a list you write for your needs due to the amount of income that comes to your wallet daily, weekly, monthly, and sometimes even yearly.
There are three types of budgets: balanced budgets, surplus budgets, and deficit budgets.

Balanced budget:this is budget done when your income is stable like salary workers that the budget will not exceed the total income that comes to your wallet.

Surplus budget: this is done when the budget is less than the income, which means that after purchasing all the budget, you will still have some extra money with you.

Deficit budget: This occurs when the budget is higher than the income that you do have, which means the money you have will be less than the budget, so you have to look for another alternative again.
14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Additional details and explanations regarding merkle trees on: October 06, 2023, 07:54:36 AM
For my research, I was looking into merkle trees today. This research taught me many things, but I also learned about merkle trees and how they relate to bitcoin. Since we have direct access to the database, I'm not sure why Merkle trees which are used to verify the data's integrity are necessary. Could someone please explain the real implementation of Merkle trees on the Bitcoin blockchain? Why are we unable to simply perform a database query to obtain the transaction data?
I need assistance with it in order to learn a lot and comprehend more clearly.

After a quick scan of this community, I saw numerous threads discussing health-related problems and potential risk. These threads drove me to share my own knowledge to show that aside from bitcoin knowledge, you should have other health knowledge to live more healthy because you don’t only look for money and forget about your health.

I will like to discuss THE HEALTH ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF COMPUTER. The reason I chose to discuss this topic is that we use computers on a daily basis to make money, which also has an effect on our health. If we can know the issues and the solutions to those issues, I think we will be healthy and also stay safe. This issue will be as follows:

1. Muscle or joint problem: there are various ways of using computers, but the most common way that people use them is to sit on the chair and face the screen (monitor). According to research, regular computer users complain of muscle soreness, shoulder pain, joint pain, chest pain, and arm pain.
2. Vision problem: Too much focus on a computer or screen is bad for the eyes. According to research, prolonged exposure to a computer, tablet, or smartphone causes computer vision problems.
3. Headache: Too much sitting on a computer can also cause headaches and migraines. Some reasons that can cause headaches when using a computer may include illumination, patterns , images, etc.
4. Stress: prolonged computer use also increases the risk of people experiencing stress. The stress can also lead to poor concentration and constant headaches. If the person can’t tolerate stress, it may lead to depression and other serious mental disorders.
5. Radiation: most computer screens have cathode ray tubes (CRT), which emit X-ray radiation that is extremely bad for the health. Being exposed to radiation can increase one’s risk of cancer, migraines, and tumors. It can also lead to miscarriage or birth defects in pregnant women.

 PREVENTION

1. Sit on an adjustable desk (chair) specially designed for the use of a computer to manage stress and other muscle problems.
2. Take frequent short breaks and go for a walk or engage in exercise in your daily
3. Make sure your source of light (the window) is not shining directly on your face or on your computer screen.
4. Tile the computer screen slightly to avoid reflection.
5. Having regular medical examinations for headaches and other associated problems that are caused by the frequent use of computers

With this short health knowledge, we can also stay healthy and live long, and we can also increase our knowledge of using computers. This will not only help members of this community, but we can also educate others.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Does a private key's XPUB and ZPUB differ for single signature and multisignatur on: August 31, 2023, 05:50:58 AM
I'm experimenting with Sparrow-based multisig wallets. I have two Nano Ledger hardware wallets, each configured with a distinct private key for a single signature. I made a 2 of 2 multisig wallet using these. The XPUB and ZPUB for every individual keystore should match those in the single signature wallets for the same device, as I had anticipated. The XPUB and ZPUB, however, were unique.

Does the use of a set of private keys to create a single signature wallet or to join a multisig wallet configuration result in a different XPUB and ZPUB?

If yes , do the XPUB and ZPUB vary according to the multisig wallet's signature?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / startup crash of the bitcoin mainnet on: August 18, 2023, 08:54:19 PM
I'm attempting to set up a fully operational mainnet node. Using bitcoin, the initial download is successful up to a cache size of about 600 MiB. And then it goes down. I have to start over because the full 600MiB has been wasted. I looked through the debug.log, but there were no discrepancies that would have indicated why the accident occurred. On Oracle VMWare, I am configuring this system with roughly 650 GB of disc space.
I have 600MiB of cached data; is there a way I can flush it to disc and restart the download? It will also be useful to understand what is causing this issue?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Some of the key advantages of lightning network on: August 15, 2023, 07:06:01 AM
I decided to do some research about the lightning network since I found that it is the fastest transaction network. I went to the history of the network and discovered that the bitcoin lightning network white paper was released on January 14, 2016, and it was finally launched on March 15, 2018. Through this process of learning, I learned something that I would like to share with my fellow newcomers who might not know about it on the forum.

The lightning network has a theoretical throughput of 1 million transactions per second, which is better than that of bitcoins, which is only 7 transactions per second.
It also has a fast transaction processing time of under a minute, compared to that of bitcoin, which is processed in 10 minutes.
And also, lightning network fees are lower and negligible than those of the main bitcoin network.

This is what I was able to convey and understand, but the threat is open to my fellow members who have done the same study as me and others who know more than me. The flow is open, and I welcome any other ideas and knowledge that other members will also add to what I've said.
