1  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] AltCoin Creating Scripts on: October 06, 2014, 11:39:38 AM
I have written a bunch of scripts in python which create coins based on the parameters you use on the python script.

for example SHA-256
Quote
C:\Python27>python.exe CreateCoin.py -h
usage: CreateCoin.py [-h]
                     coinname coinabbr rpcport testrpcport p2pport testp2pport
                     coinreward blockhalving maxmoney targetspacing
                     targettimespan

Create SHA-256 Coin.

positional arguments:
  coinname        coin name.
  coinabbr        coin abbreviation.
  rpcport         rpcport.
  testrpcport     testrpcport.
  p2pport         p2pport.
  testp2pport     testp2pport.
  coinreward      coinreward.
  blockhalving    blockhalving.
  maxmoney        maxmoney.
  targetspacing   targetspacing.
  targettimespan  targettimespan.

optional arguments:
  -h, --help      show this help message and exit

so

Quote
python CreateCoin.py FakeCoin FKE 111 222 333 444 1000 25000 250000000 2 24

I am looking at selling these individually for different prices as some took me longer to make. Once you have the scripts you can make as many coins as you like!

SHA-256 - 0.1 BTC

Scrypt - 0.2 BTC

X11 + DGW - 0.3 BTC

X13 PoW - 0.4 BTC

X13 PoS - 0.45 BTC

X15 PoW/PoS - 0.5 BTC

Whole Package - 1.2 BTC

ALL coins come without genesis hash creation but all coins have genesis creation code in them just under block.nnonce, Just set it to true and it will find it for you. if you need help just ask me.

You go first or we escrow and you pay escrow fee

Thanks All

We want you to have some experience when it comes to developing a coin so we will lead you from Start to Finish and show you the extras along the way.

As well as a functioning business we want to be a functioning community where coindevs and hobbyists can partake in our forum, we will give as much personal knowledge as possible to everyone who visits our constantly maintained and moderated forums.

if someone could implement this tonight that would be awesome

you create the script first and show me it working or we escrow (I was scammed last night and dont want it to happen again)

Please PM me price
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Schnudelu - Beware SCAMMER on: September 18, 2014, 10:37:00 PM
He offered to do some work for me, seemed pretty clued up on what he needed to do, I was paying a good price for an easy job (so he could have just done it) but decided he would try and take over my server and steal my bitcoins instead.

He gave my what was apparently his phone number and his ID card

Not sure if this is his or not but this scammer needs to be stopped.

In the end I just rebuilt the server... so no harm done really, bitcoins are bitcoins.

9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Help with hashMerkleRoot - I've done my research just not getting very far on: September 18, 2014, 08:06:47 AM
Hi All,

In the aim of learning and becoming more experienced with bitcoin/altcoin I have decided to create my own coin (not going to release it, just create it for the fun) but I am having problems when trying to run the daemon.

I get the error

Quote
./TestCoind
TestCoind: main.cpp:2555: bool LoadBlockIndex(bool): Assertion `block.hashMerkleRoot == uint256("0x000006fd9b83d4243967adc6e7d2826dedbf2c27b6586d7bdac67250d2120b61")' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

So I had a read around google and came across a site which says to check the debug log, So I did and it showed me this

Quote
CBlock(hash=5e2fed58e24adb777e9e8ebea2c98f93854c9d84c69d77f7bd0b7ac06e5a6380, ver=1, hashPrevBlock=0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000, hashMerkleRoot=7f531b970548bfea820871baaf2e5b2db0aef49d629a4de8b733426d54f5bc9d, nTime=1411026938, nBits=1e0fffff, nNonce=713214, vtx=1, vchBlockSig=)
  Coinbase(hash=7f531b9705, nTime=1401182152, ver=1, vin.size=1, vout.size=1, nLockTime=0)
    CTxIn(COutPoint(0000000000, 4294967295), coinbase 00012a1558313120436f696e73204765742043726561746564)
    CTxOut(empty)
  vMerkleTree: 7f531b9705
block.GetHash() == 5e2fed58e24adb777e9e8ebea2c98f93854c9d84c69d77f7bd0b7ac06e5a6380
block.hashMerkleRoot == 7f531b970548bfea820871baaf2e5b2db0aef49d629a4de8b733426d54f5bc9d
block.nTime = 1411026938
block.nNonce = 713214

So I tried these settings in the code and rebuild but still get the same error. is there a more foolproof way to fix this or get the merklehash, I have been at it for hours Sad

also, is there a merkle hash I can use for any coin, say if I wanted to create another one?

Regards,

Sanquin
10  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Script - Accepting Bitcoin Payments as an individual on: September 18, 2014, 02:02:16 AM
I have a small site that I want to start accepting bitcoin payments on, Its not big enough for a payment gateway,

Basically when the PHP page loads and asks you to pay I want it to loop check blockchain.info to see if a payment of a centrain amount has come in on a certain address, if it has display a file if not just wait.

I dont think this is a hard job, Any takers?

How much will it cost?

13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Remotely Hosted Bitcoin/AltCoin Daemons - Idea on: September 12, 2014, 01:57:34 PM
Hi All,

I have an idea (albeit I see a large number of flaws in it) But I was looking for peoples help in possibly getting this idea working with no security risk to people who create daemons.

I work for a large security company that hosts many servers from OVH (8 Core, 64 GB Ram, 8 TB HDD RAID) I have been offered one of these servers for personal use and came up with this idea.

I see so many people who want to their own Daemon for mining, scripts, or just for a full node but they dont have the resources available. I was thinking of a free pricing plan so It wouldnt cost anyone a penny to setup a daemon on a specified clean port with their own RPC username and password. I have also recently come across a few people who want to run DiceCoin or CoinDice w/e but they only had shared hosting and couldn't run the daemon.

My only concern is security, Surely me as the root used would have access to all of these daemons/configs/wallets (WHICH I DONT WANT!!!) I would need them if there was any problems with the daemons or server though. So I could restart/reboot etc

Can anyone think of a way around this so I wouldn't have access to such information, Maybe some form of SSH KEY login where 2 members have to agree for the key to be used? One member holds one key and someone else the other (not sure how that would work).

Thanks for any help you may provide
