Up for sale I have a 41 ths farm includes

2x - s4 @2.0 ths 1400w (few minor scratches)

3x s7 @4.7 ths (2 units dual fan, 1 unit single fan has 1 damage board mines at 3.4ths about)

1x s9 @11.92ths

4x S7LN @2.7ths

4x bitmain 1600w psu's

-------------------

You pay shipping, shipping for units is about 18 dollars if on west coast. Coast to coast is 25 bucks. I don't run shipping estimates because I don't have a scale. I have shipped many of these and its about that much money (18-25 dollars)

-------------------

Open to all reasonable offers. Not interested in parting out the farm. Need it all gone. Escrow can be done through OGnasty (or other reputable member). Thanks.
5  Economy / Computer hardware / 1x s9, 3x s7's, 4x s7LN's, 2x s4's 41THS farm for sale +PSU's on: September 27, 2016, 06:06:16 PM
hello,

repost I got lazy and let the other thread kind of die. I am reposting for this ad.

4x - bitmain 1600w psu

1x - s9 11.92ths

3x - s7 (two dual fan 1 single fan, single fan unit has a damaged board and mines at approx. 3.9ths)

4x - s7 LN's

2x - s4's

41THS total

I am selling the entire farm. If you cannot afford the entire farm please do not respond. I have no interest in escrowing to many people on a anon forum. I'm sure you can understand the headache. If ognasty comes through here and a few people can vouch I would escrow through him. We would have to arrange agreed upon proof system to prove that the units are working. So once the packages are delivered escrow is auto-released. I do not want to be in a "he said-she said" position where some person with 3 feedback is telling hero member I sent him a box of bricks.

I am taking all reasonable offers for this farm. Do your own research on what reasonable offers are for each unit, then bid an amount for the farm. If you have to ask what's reasonable you have not done your ebay, amazon, or bitmain research and I'm too lazy to waste my time getting into a message war with so many people over pricing.

As for shipping. I have found that shipping from coast to coast to be around $25. If you stay on the same coast its about $15-18. This could vary obviously. So if you are too concerned over the shipping fluctuating by a few bucks in either direction again please don't even bother posting this deal is probably not for you if your money is that tight. I am on the west coast.

any questions feel free to post. All idiots will be blacklisted.

Shipping can be arraigned with carrier of choice.

ITs not letting me post pictures. no idea why must be doing something wrong. I posted direct links below

6  Other / Off-topic / BTC Hardware (noise) actually provides security??? on: September 20, 2016, 11:57:00 PM
Hello internet  Grin

An Idea came to me today, The jet aircraft like sound of the systems actually provide a security factor to your residence. The number of people who would actually steal a server are few and far between as most are sheeple. Even a high end server would be safe practically running in your back yard (from theft obv not weather).

For example. If a thief is staking out houses. If you have noisey jet aircraft running 24/7 they never know wtf is going on except loud noises.

... And in thief / crminial world loud noise = no go/abort etc.

Just a thought. Interesting though... Here I was thinking all this time that I need more security... Maybe I should downgrade Wink

So we have our uses for mining btc

1- btc
2- tax reasons
3- heaters in winter
4- anti theft loud noisy box basically like a sound generator for sheeple
7  Other / Off-topic / Best security for your home door? on: September 20, 2016, 01:15:47 PM
getting worried about thieve and snoops. Obv locks are easy to pick by any crack head etc willing to take 5 second to watch youtube and practice for a day.

So is there any good way to make a strong lock. I want something ridiculous because I rent too to prevent landlord snooping.

For eample. 2x4 board drops down and catches in latch when solenoid A is released. and when solenoid B is released 2x4 board is released from latch and swings down. I could run the solenoids to a wifi switch even a redundant one for the unlock and trigger them that way?

Idk seems complicated af but I don't trust locks at all and these doors are shady af.

someone prob has some better ideas FOR THE CHEAP.

10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Electrical company keeps checking my box! WTF!!!! SOS plz HELP! on: September 02, 2016, 03:45:21 AM
hello internet,

please help me. The power guy checked my meter yesterday. When he looked its like his eyes almost popped out of this head. He even looked at it again 3 times to make sure!!!

Then today what do you know!!! He showed up again! This time about two hours later! He looked took some notes. Then went to talk away and took a video with his iPhone!!!! I am so worried bros.

To be clear I live in WA state. To the best of my knowledge they cant and will not raid / harras you for just electricity. Please advise on this and when I say harras I mean raid. A terrifying experience I never want to go through again.

I have read mining forums and grow forums. So far I have yet to read one about a raid just off electricity? I think they need a lot of factors. Many forums say women with tanning beds hot tubs and all kinds of junk easily load down the house boxes...

Addiationally right now I am running about 15000 watts 24/7on a 200 amp box. should I be worried about the power guys? Should I call them and clear my name? Help please.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / What to do with my Antminer s4's? on: August 26, 2016, 06:09:39 AM
I am getting electricity for about .02cents/kwh. Often free.

My s4's are to the point where they are almost done maxing out there ROI. I was wondering what I should do with them? Amazon banned me from selling for "too much velocity".

gaypal has had me locked for ten years over a 180$ scammer.

point is I cant sell them on either of those platforms. I am wondering what I can do?

would someone on here want them? Can I pull out the PSU's and use them on other units?

Can I dissect them for some sort of metals?

Should I smash them with a hammer for a tax write-off? (my dad told me often they do that in telecom and datacenter industries)

Thank you
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Make your own Switched PDU. on: August 24, 2016, 01:49:34 PM
Good morning internet family,

I have been doing quite a bit of contemplating. Switched PDU's are hella expensive. Furthermore even if cheap most are only a measly like 20-30amp.

Which brings me to building my own PDU.

What is the deal? I am familiar with 240v wiring. I would imagine I would be fine as long as i incorporate a fuse? I couldn't realistically draw much more then 30amp per unit i build due to hardware and wire limitations (its tricky to wire 200amp main lines into a self made pdu box hard to find hardware etc)

So I have been thinking I could probably build each pdu for about $50. Which brings me to my next question. How to switch the pdu.

An easy method i am thinking is mount a board (wood) next to my electric box. A small cheap servo or actuator in place to flip said breaker (or flip the main)

additionally it would be boss if I could wire in a cell phone trigger for the actuator, as if my network drops i can reset the entire system from a cell phone (or internet i could wire both).

Any advice and pointers would be great. Switched pdus are hella expensive and i dont have gaypal or scambay. Would love to hear everyones input including how to wire a cellphone actuator or networked actuator etc Smiley

happy mining family
13  Other / Off-topic / Need a clean Keylogger with Cloud storage. on: August 02, 2016, 05:28:54 PM
Hello Internet,

As my life is becoming more complex i have deemed it neccisary to now incorporate a keylogging solution for backup on my host system.

I need something clean that uploads to the cloud somehow. Also as hidden as can be but im sure if I lose my craptop it will be found so as long as my keystrokes are offsite im fine.

IF they have some that upload to multiple clouds too that would be excellent. Anyway. Thank you. Security is serious to me. I want to be safe in these times. When you are holding all the cards with master audio and key logs it helps me sleep better.

Kindest regards,

Has anyone done this? I use many of these fans zip tied together for airflow. I am wondering if build a single system would work well with many fans
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / s7 only mining at 3ths? on: July 30, 2016, 04:43:09 AM
hello,

I have a pest s7 that has only been mining at 3.1ths. it is very hot though. Ive been having to shut some down during the days until next week when the outside temps cool down.

could the heat have damaged the machine? It is the 1 fan model. Anything I can try? Thanks.
16  Other / Off-topic / Protecting your Datacenter with a Cloud Based Security Solution on: July 28, 2016, 12:41:30 AM
Hello internet,

I was in the market for a security system. I purchased one with no hard drive. A cheapo of amazon. 169$ 8 cams 720p reso. Not bad quality.

The reason for this is because I reasoned it ineffective if a break in. A smart bugler would simply take the dvr with the HD and all the evidence.

Not that it matters much because a smart one would also be wearing a mask. But at least security footage may help...

I quickly realized after hookup that this one will not let me save to the could Sad I looked around the net and couldnt really find any that would. The only solution that i have really seen is to buy IP cams and run them through Ispy. However this renders my current system useless.

Another option i considered was purchasing a video capture card. I could simply record the feed to the cloud or something. Well that was a no go as they are pricey as all hell. So i dont know what to do now. My last option was to purchase a cheap IP camera and see if i could somehow film the DVR monitor with all the cams, Anolog re-routing the video feed through ISP to upload to the cloud.

Major problems with this also, including not as clear as id like. Latency. And at night the infareds turn on rendering the Analog screen viewing sequence useless.

Any advice would be great. I may just be screwed here. May end up just using the system as a visual redundancy . Let me know what you think. Would love to figure out something to get recording and get to cloud.

Kindest regards,

Hello,

I am selling 2 Units. Opened to offers. I do not negotiate based off auction prices. Only reasonable buyitnow prices or amazon prices.

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / GFI Breaker A Must? on: July 27, 2016, 04:17:56 PM
Hello Internet,

I have bought another 30amp breaker. Should I be buying GFI breakers for saftey? 240v 30amp for each pdu. Thanks.

I want to be as safe as possible. I had a blowout the other day. Fried a ballast in the other room. Would GFI have saved the ballast?

God bless
