1  Other / Beginners & Help / ASPIS AE7 42.6 TH/s Miner on: November 15, 2018, 07:26:42 PM
Hello all, sorry I stepped away from Mining to explore life only to find new hardware everywhere.  One that interests me is the new ASPIS AE7 42.6 TH/s Miner.  Has anyone gotten any tests or trials?  I only ask because I have access through a business relationship that I want to try and leverage.  I am looking forward to any reply's in advance.  Oh I did search the forum but did not really find much.

Cheers
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Beware jet-coin.com - scam do not fall for it on: August 19, 2017, 05:49:12 PM
So a little while ago a buddy of mine came to me and told me that I needed to look at this site and that I should invest in it.  He mentioned that it was a Bitcoin site where you can put in a bit coin and they pay you back your money (bitcoin) each day.  I had been out of the coin mining for a while and thought well I still have some bitcoin left in my wallet so why not.  Heck he even started my account with his coin.  He invested .1  bitcoin to start my account and I was off.  I never really tried to get anyone under me but there were many in his group.  A Few even said that they were getting payouts of up to 2BTC per week.  I even saw his transfers as proof.  So what do I do?  I invest my own BTC into it and even pay to get more to start an account for my wife.  Suffice to say that literally 5 days after we create that account the site shuts down and no payments are made. and they start advertising a new version 2.0 of Jet-coin.com.  I lost enough but not as much as the y guy who brought me in.

Payouts for my leg ended on 6/21/2017.  they may be active for others but will get shut down once they hit a P/L that is in their favor.

It is so funny because each week now there is a new message.  This weeks is the following

"Hello JetCoin Members,

We have some EXCITING NEWS to share today!! Please make sure to read the entire message.

If you logged into your account two days ago you probably noticed that your group volume was gone. You could still see your binary tree and people in your downline, but the volume was gone. We had let everyone know this would be the case, however it was discouraging once people actually saw it.

We made a decision as a company to add your volume back!! If you login to your back office now you will see the volume on the left and the right side of your business if you had any before the launch of JetCoin 2.0. Currently you cannot see the volume of those under you, but we will get this fixed.

This is very exciting news, but we want to make sure we are completely clear and you understand what this means! Binary commissions will only be paid off of sales after the launch of JetCoin 2.0. This means that if you have one side of your binary with a lot of volume, you can begin to earn commissions by building your business on the other side. Your previous volume is all there, but commissions will only be generated on new sales that come into your group volume.

In addition, the qualification for daily pay began when we launched JetCoin 2.0. Everyone must qualify with personal volume in order to qualify for the daily pay!

As you can see we definitely care about our members, and look forward to helping you double and even triple your BitCoin as many times as you want!

Now is the time to get out there and start sharing the JetCoin business with others, so you can get qualified for Daily Pay as soon as possible, and start having those binary commissions fill up your wallet!

Sincerely,

JetCoin Managment"

There are plenty of other sites just like this I know that now.  PLEASE DO NOT BE LIKE ME.  Buy coin at a Legit exchange, Check Bitcoin talk first before investing in anything.  Do not trust your friends even if they start the account.  LOL

I hope that I have put enough in here to keep others away. If not ask me anything unless you want to call me a fool but please don't its bad enough I list what I did.

Thanks all

I fell into one of those MLM site that say they guarantee payouts.  Where would I list the site to keep others from falling into the same situation?
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Old Miner starting again on: June 13, 2017, 06:00:42 PM
Well hello to everyone,  More than that I am making a second attempt at writing a intro thread again.

Its been a while a long while sense I did any mining.  Why I left I am not certain.  Sense that time the POOL that I worked with died and all the hardware I was using is obsolete.  I am sure many of you are thinking I hear you but there are some questions that I have not been able to figure out yet and some that I have.  thing is I want to start chatting and the best way is getting my voice heard.  Smiley  I am not super active but I am hoping that will change as there are so many smart people on here.

Anyway on to my new questions:

1:) I am thinking of investing in at least 1 S9 antminer.  The threads I've read were for the most part all positive and I love that.  Has anyone else gone in this direction off the cuff and how many should I try to attain to make it an investment.
( I have seen that the difficulty has brought down the over all payout but I am not deterred  I am convinced that it is still possible to mine for profit. Smiley  Unless my wife says NO)

2:) POOLS there are so many, can I get a direction of a few good ones?

3:) Software:  I used to us CGremote and an really sad that it is no longer a usable software.  Other than Awesome Miner, has anyone else used any other GUI successfully?  sorry I am not gig on monitoring cgminer on its own.  Sadly I did not grow up on command line Sad

4:) Is minepeon the easiest way to mine with a rPI?  Just not sure it is worth putting my 3 RPI's to work as miners or to sell them.

thanks for allowing me to say hello and the ability to send questions.  Hope this second attempt goes through.

Thanks

5  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Looking to start over on: June 12, 2017, 09:51:59 PM
Its been years, Literally.  I have a few questions I want to throw out.

First, I am looking to make an investment in Antminer S9's  not certain how many but I definitely want one to start.  With that said I know about power and network and cooling my first question is more directed towards the best pool's to generate highest payout.  I have searched and read a bit but it is still all confusing and the pool I was in back then is no longer running.  Anyone direction would be helpful.

Second, I've seen start up vids of the S9 and I am not 100% sure that I need mining software or if it comes with it.  Can anyone clarify?  If it doesn't that is fine what mining software is best.  I love GUI's but if needed what else is available?

tHird and lastly - I have a few RPi's not the current model what are the best current miners that can run on those?

Sorry, Thanks, and look forward to your reply

Hello,  I decided to create an account for work.  Th boss is interested in Mining and I thought this would be the best way to get information for them.  We are more interested in GPU mining because we have the infrastructure already and the is not that concerned with Power prices because our machines need to be on anyway.  I will be working up numbers soon on ratios and payouts based on figures I derive from your pages so if there is any assistance out there I am open to existing information.

Look forward to more intel and getting to know everyone.
