Release 14.02.2016

    Nouveaux graphismes et Nom
    Limecoinx ->BitSend
    LIMX ->BSD
    Nouveau protocol 70077

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Little question regarding Bittrex on: February 13, 2016, 04:59:41 PM
Hello, I'm currently mining some Ethereum and I'd like to withdraw them from the pool that I use, Suprnova. However, I'm away from home so I need to use my phone to do it. To put it on Bittrex, I'll have to generate an Ethereum address, and then switch of page to go the Suprnova. Will my address will be changed until then or not ? And how many time will it be valid ? Maybe this is a bit noobish but I need to know that. Thank you for your help Smiley.
43  Bitcoin / Electrum / I rebooted my computer, will I retrieve my addresses when I'll enter my seed ? on: February 11, 2016, 06:31:55 PM
I recently rebooted my computer in the hope that it will solve my GPU problem. I was wondering if, when I'll have entered my seed in Electrum in order to have my coins back, I'll retrieve all my previous addresses. Since I conduct a loan service, this could be really problematic. Anyone could help me Smiley ?
44  Other / Meta / When will the "Most Online" stat will be back ? on: January 31, 2016, 11:44:37 AM
On the stats page, you can see that the counting of the people online stopped in April 2013. Why did it stopped ? I think that it is one of the most important stats to see activity on the forum. Can someone tell me why it have been disabled and if it will be back someday ?
45  Economy / Economics / Can the price increase if the userbase saty the same ? on: January 30, 2016, 09:52:52 PM
A price increase is predicted by most of the users, including me. With such an event, this is possible that the price rise. However, in common times, with no special events, can it rise too ? I was wondering if the userbase stay the same until the enext halving, could it be possible that the price rise ? Maybe some of you have the answer ?
46  Other / Meta / Idea of a new big subsection : the cultural subsection (science, literature...) on: January 26, 2016, 07:10:09 PM
As far as I remember, I've always been interested by science. Sometimes, there is a few topics discussing it in the the Off-topic section, but this is always a bit sad and not really interesting. Creating a science subsection could allow people to discuss the big progress that is currently being made in astronomy, or everthing that is going on the scientists' planet ! A science subsection is definitly a good idea I think. It would be my 3rd favourite.

I love reading, and since I know how to read, I red a lot of differents books, of different kinds. Literature is something important for us, this is about culture. Sadly, no one is talking abiut this. There could be some interesting topics, discussing about the books that everyone red. One could make a suggestion, that could make people read this book, and then discuss about it. The creation of a literature subsection, could be benefical to everyone to escape from the numbers and discuss about masterpieces or common books. It would be my 2nd favourite.

Music is something that everyone loves (there's some exception), so a dedicated subsection could make people discuss about it. Since this is the suggestion of the subsection that I like the least, I have not that much arguments to defend it. This would be my least favourite.

History, one of my biggest passions in life ! An history subsection could allow some people to post topics about a precise domain. People could instruct themselves without leaving Bitcointalk ! There's nothing I can like more, this would be like a dream. This is my favourite hypothetical subsection.

All this subsections could be condensated in one big subsections, called the cultural subsection. This cultural subsection could be located in the "Other" board, or could have it's own. Tell me what you think about it Wink ! I greatly hope that it will exist someday !
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What would be Satoshi's opinion on blocksize debate ? on: January 25, 2016, 08:54:35 PM
I was wondering what would be Satoshi's opinion on the blocksize debate. I mean : would he be pro-Classic or pro-Core, a.k.a. 2 MB or 1 MB blocks ? Maybe someone has a quote from him that show what he would think about it.
48  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Why all blocksize propositions are round numbers ? on: January 23, 2016, 08:58:53 PM
Actually the blocksize is 1 MB, and Bitcoin classic propose to increase it to 2 MB, Bitcoin XT to 8 MB. Why no one actually proposed 1,25 MB or 1,5 MB blocks ? Is it "allowed" by Bitcoin's code ? Is there any other reason that make that no proposition like this exist ? 1,25 MB or 1,5 blocks would be a softer transition than going directly to 2 MB.

52  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Any way to hide words in transactions thanks to txID ? on: January 17, 2016, 01:52:50 AM
Would it be possible for someone to hide words in the blockchain using txID ? I know that it is possible using generated addresses or outputs, but it is still limited, since generated addresses can't be too long if you don't want to take 3 years to generate it and outputs, beside the fact that it can cost money if they're big, are not really useful. Do answer this question, I'd need to know how are generated the txID. Do they depend of something or are they really random ? In the second case, that's a possibility to forget about Sad...
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does anyone posted a kind of "Bitcoin treasure quest" ? on: January 17, 2016, 12:06:47 AM
I was wondering if someone posted a kind of enigma that would lead to a Bitcoin prize. Does something like that exist, or at least existed someday and has been found ?

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin bucks : the solution to mass-adoption on: January 09, 2016, 10:41:18 AM
I was just thinking at the moment : "why not use Bitcoin bucks that are not paper-wallet but which have the warranty to be exchanged against one Bitcoin when needed by the company who created the bucks ?". I think that would be a really good idea. This could solve the transaction time problem and thus make a huge step in mass-adoption. What are you thought on this idea Smiley ?
56  Economy / Digital goods / ►Cheap Steam, Uplay & Origin keys sold by a trusted member [-30%→ -45%]◄ on: January 07, 2016, 09:35:39 PM
Buy games on Steam, Uplay and Origin !

I'm here to sell Steam keys. They're 100% legal, bought from a mass-seller. Since they're not stolen nor hacked, they won't be at 1€, but you can still except a 30%-50% discount depending on the game. I can sell near every game.

A few exemple of games and their price :

  • Fallout 4 : 0,09576BTC (~40€) (-33%)
  • Rainbow Six Siege : 0,09572BTC (~40€) (-33%)
  • Call of Duty : Black Ops III : 0,07661BTC (~32€) (-45%)
  • Rocket League : 0,03831BTC (~16€) (-33%)
  • Football Manager 2016 : 0,08379BTC (~35€) (-30%)
  • Star Wars Battlefront : 0,1197BTC (~50€) (-15%)
  • Dying Light : 0,04788BTC (~20€) (-33%)
  • And the list continues indefinitly...

PS : Prices are subject to small changes (no more than a few €) depending on the Bitcoin price.

To buy, just post what game you'd like to buy and I'll add it to the list. Then if you still want to buy it, I'll post the address publicly here and we'll proceed to the payment.

Prices are negoticable.
57  Economy / Auctions / [Auction] Member account - starting at 0,01 BTC on: January 06, 2016, 08:13:56 PM
I'm here to sell a member account acquired via a collateral of a defaulted loan.
This auction will be a bit special since I sent a PM to the previous owner to send him an ultimatum about the payment. If he pays me back, the auction will be canceled. However, it seems really improbable for me to be paid one day by him, since "his friend lost everything at gambling". The account got 70 activity points.

Starting price : 0,01BTC
Minimum increment : 0,002BTC
Buy It Now (BIN) : 0,025BTC

The auction will end on January 8th at midnight. Account will be sent at this time to the latest bidder.

PS : every bid and BIN request has to be made public.

Good luck to everyone Smiley !
58  Bitcoin / Electrum / [SOLVED] Addresses disappearing randomly on: January 06, 2016, 04:34:08 PM
Today I got a bit of problems with Electrum. One of my payment was cancelled, which resulted in a long time for the loan to arrive, the time that I noticed it and send it back. Since this problem has been solved, this isn't what I will talk you about here. Like well explained in the title, some of my addresses disappeared. Will I keep them ? This is a big problem because this is my two addresses used to received funds from my signature campaign and the repayment of my loans. Even if they are not listed in the list, can I still received funds on it without worrying ? Or I have to worry about it ? I hope that it is isn't the second possibility Undecided...
