83  Bitcoin / Mining support / Problem with GPU 0 on: May 02, 2012, 05:46:31 PM
Win7 x64
Biostar A870-U3 mobo
Athlon II 170u 2.7Ghz
4x Sapphire Radeon Extreme 5830
CGMiner 2.3.6

I've been having an issue with GPU 0, it will mine good for a few mins then all of a sudden CGMiner will report a temp of 127c and lock up the whole computer. It doesn't matter if the cards run at stock or OC'd, it happens either way. I've since pulled the card and replaced it with a spare 5750 I have just to see if it's a problem with the card or a problem with the computer.

Has anybody else had this happen?

Also, It's happened with CGminer 2.3.2 and 2.3.4

93  Economy / Goods / Clothing for BTC [gauging interest] on: April 04, 2012, 02:11:05 AM
Hey everyone, I have a friend who recently started an online clothing store and he will gladly accept BTC as a payment option if the interest is there for his products.

http://freshapparels.storenvy.com/

If the interest is good, he would need somebody to help him incorporate bit-pay or some sort of btc payment processor on his site (unfortunately that's not something I'm familiar with).

Take a look and let me know if this is something you guys would like and also if anybody is able to help him with adding the payment option.

Thanks for looking Smiley
94  Bitcoin / Mining support / rig causing internet problems??? on: March 31, 2012, 10:13:44 PM
i have a really weird problem. I have 3 mobo's in my basement, 2 have 1 5830 each and the other has 4 5830's.
They're all Win7 x64 2gb ddr3 ram or higher except the one is a low quality P.O.S. with 2gb ddr2 ram and a via 1.7 cpu lol.
Anyways... my rig with the 4 5830's is causing problems with my internet. I get timeouts every few mins but when I disconnect the rig the internet works flawlessly. Anybody ever experience this or have ideas how to resolve it?
95  Economy / Services / Selling advertising space on my car for BTC on: March 30, 2012, 06:16:25 PM
I have a new idea, well not NEW but it's never been mentioned on here as far as I know.
Have you seen the websites that "pay you to drive your car"?
They put ads on your car and pay you every month to be a traveling billboard for a company.
It's time to incorporate it into the Bitcoin world.

You have a website, blog, store,etc....
I have a minivan
You want to advertise
I want to earn BTC

You provide materials (bumper sticker, window decal, etc.) and send it to me
I will put your advertisement material on my vehicle and send you proof (pic or video)
You pay a pre-agreed amount of BTC per month
Sound easy enough?

Anybody want to take me up on my offer?

EDIT: I will not make any permanent alterations to my vehicle, all material must be able to be removed at some point
96  Economy / Services / Willing to do (almost) anything for bitcoin on: March 25, 2012, 02:06:58 PM
I know there was a few posts like this a little while ago and they seemed like fun so I thought I might make a new one.

I'm willing to do almost anything for some coin..notice I said almost anything. I won't cause extreme bodily harm to myself, break any laws, or violate anyone's human rights.

Want a pic of me with a shoe on my head? I can do that lol
Want a video of me burning a Twilight book? Send me the book and I'll do it GLADLY!!!

Post your ideas and how much BTC you're willing to give.
