121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [BBQ] [POOL] bigbbq.cc 0% FEE, PPLNS, Idle Worker Notif. on: May 07, 2013, 02:49:46 PM
Hi !

I'm glad to announce a new BBQ Pool with PPLNS payout.

Its currently under heavy work, it's based on tailfeather.cc 's codebase so it should be rock solid and produce very les stales.

There is currently no fee.

I'm working on the texts of the site, don't worry if there is Litecoin mentioned instead of BBQCoin somewhere, you're fine.

Use cgminer/reaper/yourclient at de1.bigbbq.cc:8446 with LP

Have fun !
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [POOL] bigltc.cc 0% FEE. LTC Pool. PPLNS, Idle Notification, Rock Solid on: May 07, 2013, 09:09:25 AM
Hi !

I'm announcing a new Litecoin (LTC) Pool which is currently at 0% Fee and uses the same, reliable codebase which tailfeather.cc was/is based on.

Idle Worker Notification is working, Stratum Support is on its way, I'm on a really fast box in germany, hosted in a big data center, so european users should mostly benefit.

Payout scheme is PPLNS.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why it is a bad idea to set up cgminer for different altcoins in one cmdline on: May 01, 2013, 11:20:59 PM
So I've set up cgminer to mine feathercoins at first pool and litecoins on second pool.

First pool uses LP, second stratum.

Even when cgminer is mining in Pool 1, it accepts a "new block" via stratum from pool #2 and then switches to that new block from pool 2 but submits it shares to pool 1..

Hi !

I'm announcing a new FeatherCoin (FTC) Pool which is currently at 0% Fee and still under development but went trough lots of testing and works good so far.

I'm adding Idle Worker Notification soon, Stratum Support is also on its way, I'm on a really fast box in germany, hosted in a big data center, so european users should mostly benefit.

Payout scheme is PPLNS.

125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / XFX 7970 not over 550 khash/s ?! on: April 08, 2013, 05:39:34 PM
Hi !

I've got three new XFX 7970 (Ghost Edition, the normal ones with 925 MHz store clock)...

Well.. I'd say I really tried every possible MHz combination, running 1075/1680 now but cannot achieve more than 550 khash/s .. (under linux with SDK 2.8 and AMD 13.3 beta 3)

Also voltages seems to be locked, as I cannot change them.

Did someone try to flash an other BIOS onto this cards to get it running properly or has anyone got better mhz combos ?
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [LTC] suprnova.cc Litecoin Pool / Fixed Diff / 0% Fee / Proportional / .DE on: March 20, 2013, 09:09:58 AM
Hey folks,

There is currently no pool fee at all !
Server is based in germany and connected via gigE Ethernet, so it should work very well for most EU based miners.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Using eloipool with litecoind on: March 12, 2013, 06:29:10 PM
Hey !

I'm trying to set up eloipool with the latest git release of litecoind.

I've got litecoind running, eloipool starts but it seems there is something wrong with the network id..

I've set eloipool to:

UpstreamNetworkId = b'\xFB\xC0\xB6\xDB'

which should be litecoin's network ID:

When I start eloipool i get in litecoinds logfile:

>>

accepted connection 127.0.0.1:48523
accepted connection 127.0.0.1:48524

receive version message: version 60000, blocks=0, us=[::]:0, them=[::]:0, peer=127.0.0.1:48523

and eloipool gives me:

so obviously litecoind is not responding..

130  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / ANUBIS - a CGMINER Web Frontend on: January 09, 2012, 08:22:22 PM
Hi !

Thanks to cgminer's API I could write a small web frontend for cgminer which I'm now using to monitor (part of) my  rigs.

Currently its quite minimalistic, you can add hosts, define "color thresholds" for temperatures, fans, min. MH/s .. Sooner or Later (as I have some spare time) I'll add failure notification via Prowl/NMA/E-Mail and many other features.

Here some Screenshots:

As you can see, everything is pretty self explanatory.

Grab ANUBIS from here:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14741109/anubis-1.03.tar.gz

Newer versions are currently maintained by "P_shep" and can be grabbed from here:
https://github.com/pshep/ANUBIS

Installation is simple. You need a MySQL/PHP enabled host within your rig-network. You have
to set the "--api-listen and --api-network" cgminer switches, the rest is done within ANUBIS.

Extract the .tar.gz to a directory of your choice i.e. http://my.host.com/anubis and edit
"config.inc.php" to reflect your db values for ANUBIS. You need to have a user/password and a database
set in your MySQL configuration for ANUBIS.

After you updated "config.inc.php" simply run ANUBIS by pointing your browser to the root dir of
ANUBIS i.e. http://my.host.com/anubis and start adding hosts.

Requirements:
-- needs php, php-mysql

php config :
set "short_open_tag" to "enabled" in /etc/php.ini

Let me know if you encounter any bugs or problems or if you have any new ideas, preferably by posting into this thread, I'll do fixes as soon as I can !

Have fun !

131  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Which IC is responsible for the Fan on a Sapphire 5850 Extreme ? on: November 11, 2011, 05:52:20 PM
Hi !

Which IC on the card is resp. for the Fan regulation on a 5850 Extreme from Sapphire ?

The Fan continuosly runs at 100% and cgminer doesnt even show the RPM just 85% and it goes down to 0% but then Fan is still running at full speed.

I cannot even control the fan with aticonfig, it is constantly spinning at full power.

Its strange that not even the RPM can be read, temperature is fine though..

Anyone got an idea which IC on card is responsible for the regulation ? I had a quick look and saw nothing special ..

Thanks

132  Local / Deutsch (German) / Scammer freundliches Forum on: November 10, 2011, 10:46:15 PM
Servus zusammen !

133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Beware of User "Amanda" for Trading on: November 05, 2011, 12:24:52 PM
Just wanted to let you know that "Amanda" is a scammer, I've send him 20 BTC and should receiver PP in turn but never received anything and now he's not even repyling to my mails/pms even though he's constantly online.

Here some evidence pics:

As you can see he is refering to "mc_lovin", I never had contact with him, don't know if you can trust him or not.

Just make sure you dont do any deals with "Amanda".

134  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5770 burned voltage regulator ? on: October 22, 2011, 09:53:11 AM

Can anyone tell me what kind of regulator this was and which spare part I'd have to order ?

Its a old XFX 5770, the burned regulator is on top of the card, right next to the crossfire plug.

Thanks
135  Local / Deutsch (German) / 5770 geplatzter Regler ? on: October 22, 2011, 09:21:16 AM
Servus !

Hier das Bild:

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/497/20111022111445.jpg

Auf meiner 5770 ist dieses Bauteil, ich vermute ein Regler, "geplatzt". Kann mir irgendwer mit einer
5770 die noch funktioniert die Bezeichnung des Bauteils nennen ?

Danke
