Projects that have raised funds in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) currently hold 3,330,390 eth, with ◊16,400 of it, worth $4.5 million, sold last week.

Data from Santiment shows Digix is the biggest ICO-ed eth holder after the Ethereum Foundation, with some ◊470,000, worth $130 million. More than its token’s total market cap.

Golem comes in second position with 369,00 eth, worth about $100 million, just under its current market cap of $140 million.

Topping the big three is Status at ◊253,000, or $70 million. The market cap for them is nearly double, at $130 million.

Aragon, a platform where you can run decentralized organization, has more than twice its current market cap of $28 million in 238,000 eth holdings worth $64 million.

While SingularDTV is doing far better in eth holdings than in its token market cap of $13 million, with 225,000 eth giving them $61 million.

In combination, more than three million eth is being held by ICOs with the Ethereum Foundation holding another ◊660,000, or about $200 million.

That’s based on about 125 projects which hold more than zero eth, with Santiment tracking in total some 650 projects.

The vast majority no longer have any eth, presumably because they have sold them, including OmiseGo, which raised more than ◊71,000 last year but now seemingly has zero.

They do hold about $100 million worth of OMG tokens with some of this data potentially being incomplete as they are curated by individuals.

Santiment has called on projects to reach out if they see any incorrect information, with our attempt to confirm with OMG whether they have indeed sold out all their eth unsuccessful.

Yet, they are selling. Some ◊16,500 in the past seven days and ◊136,000 in the past 30 days or $37 million at current prices.

That’s based on eth movements out of “official” ICO’s accounts, which might sometimes move eth for other reasons than selling, but D2 Capital, which provides crypto funds management, estimates 70% of the eth moved by ICOs goes to exchanges.

The sale of eth by ICOs has slowed down compared to EOS’ relentless liquidation of eth earlier this year, sometimes by market selling on exchanges.

But eth to fiat conversion by ICOs continues pretty much daily albeit at far lower levels than during the peak in May.

Interestingly, long time eth holders are selling too. Far less than during the peak in February or even during the beginning of 2017, but it looks like there has been a slight uptick recently.

It appears many cashed out in early 2016 when eth’s price was at $5 or so, and plenty sold at the beginning of 2017 during eth’s rise from $20 to $420, with a large liquidation following during the peak at the beginning of this year.

That added sell pressure clearly affected the price with genesis holders keeping a lid on speed, but one picture we are missing here is miner’s eth liquidations.

Data for that isn’t tracked by Santiment, although it shouldn’t be more difficult than for ICOs or genesis addresses except that mining pools tend to distribute to miners all the time, with what miners then do being a lot more difficult to discern.

Yet clearly there is plenty of sell pressure here, but such sell pressure was higher previously and still price went vertical, with demand being the other side of the equation and that has been growing.

The market still looks bullish. Perhaps today the ETF will be rejected. While such thoughts - it is possible to pour up to 6100-6150, a sharp rebound at 6300 (maybe there will be just a candle down and back, that would knock out long positions before this growth is small). Further, most likely, the growth in the outset to 6600, from there we pour on 6300 after which I hope to fly to the top to break the not broken lines. Like many of us, cryptomaniacs, in my crypto-portfolio there appeared tokens favorites. In the next review, I'm not just telling you whether it's profitable or not, I'll bring real figures from life. These figures are very easy to double-check, so my review can be considered a true study.

At the beginning of August 2017, against the background of the frenzied growth of bitcoin, then it cost about $ 4000, I seriously thought about investing in crypto-currencies.

This happened less than a month before the pampas.

My advice to beginners and those who read this post - Sometimes you need to be able to wait, but do not be greedy. Crypto currency is like a drug. Having made the wrong move here you can lose everything. Do not repeat mistakes and learn from someone else's experience.

Прошло некоторое время и я забыл про него. И как же я ох--л когда увидел курс более 3$ за xrp. Я мог сделать миллионы рублей из вложенного депозита.
В скором времени от друга я узнал что он не продал и дождался роста..
Сначала я не мог поверить в то что происходит.

По началу происходящее не укладывалось в голове. Хотелось выйти в окно либо бросить все.

Аналогично произошло с LTC. Я долго держал его, но в тот момент когда его цена взлетела до 83-85 долларов в конце августа, жадность не позволила мне продать актив. Я ждал его еще выше. Не знаю что случилось в моей голове, но по каким-то причинам так и не дождавшись хорошего роста и видимо отчаявшись в последний момент я продал все накопления в LTC к биткоину. И почти сразу после этого начался экспонентный рост вплоть до 320 долларов. Первое время казалось, что это происходит не со мной и я не мог упустить этого. Происходящее было похоже на плохой сон. Это произошло менее чем за месяц до пампа.

Мой совет новичкам и тем кто читает данный пост – Иногда нужно уметь ждать, но не быть жадным. Криптовалюта это как наркотик. Сделав неправильный шаг тут можно потерять все. Не повторяйте ошибок и учитесь на чужом опыте.

The situation is strange and confusing. Obviously, this is abnormal and so it should not be. Let's discuss, talk about it. Otherwise ... memento mori (instantly at sea) - "remember that it is mortal."

The main declared principle of the site is decentralization, i.e. the ability of each token holder to directly influence decision making, albeit in proportion to the steak or other parameter. In fact, there is a clear vertical of power in the traditions of eastern tyranny, when authoritarian leadership has all communications with the plebs "before the light bulb", and the institution of delegates is stalled. In this regard, I would like more democracy in such areas:

1. To conduct official meetings of the founders, investors, delegates and community at least twice a month. Regularly review the priorities for the media player's Voice tasks, and the decisions made, recognized as important and urgent, implemented immediately. This can be a withdrawal / appointment to a post, initiation of important changes, issues of distribution / financing, etc.

Инвесторы, пользователи (те самые блогеры и журналисты, ради которых создавалась платформа) вкладывались и вкладываются своими средствами, усилиями и временем в какой-то «чёрный ящик».

Ситуация странная и запутанная. Очевидно, что это ненормально и так быть не должно. Давайте обсуждать, говорить об этом. Иначе... memento mori (моментально в море) — «помни, что смертен».

Основной заявленный принцип площадки — децентрализация, т.е. возможность каждого держателя токенов напрямую влиять на принятие решений, пусть и пропорционально стейку или другому параметру. На самом деле, выстроилась чёткая вертикаль власти в традициях восточных тираний, когда авторитарному руководству все коммуникации с плебсом «до лампочки», а институт делегатов пробуксовывает. В связи с этим хотелось бы больше демократии в таких направлениях:

Проводить официальные встречи фаундеров, инвесторов, делегатов и комьюнити как минимум дважды в месяц. Регулярно рассматривать приоритетные для медиаблокчейна Голос задачи, а принятые решения, признанные важными и неотложными, реализовывать немедленно. Это может быть снятие/назначение на должности, инициация важных изменений, вопросы распределения/финансирования и пр.
Предварительное обсуждение кардинальных изменений в стратегии развития медиаблокчена ГОЛОС. Например, переход на ГEОС, отказ от этих планов или разделение.
Открытая отчётность по расходованию средств в BTC, собранных на токенсейле/ICO.
Оплата работы команды golos.core и воркеров токенами из новой эмиссии GOLOS.
Прояснить статус технических аккаунтов (происхождение, цель аккумулирования, планы дальнейшего использования). Минимизировать или вовсе устранить их влияние на процессы коммерческой деятельности, курирования, голосования за делегатов.
Экономика медиаблокчейна не равна монетизации деятельности CyberFund. Создаётся впечатление, что у фаундеров и ключевых креатур на исполнительных должностях нет ни внятной экономической стратегии, ни понимания процессов экономики Голоса.

Каждый озвученный пункт требует отдельного более широкого обсуждения и рассмотрения. Вот только где и с кем вести подобную дискуссию? Для этого нужна добрая воля и желание сторон идти на контакт.

Что же мы видим на самом деле? Допустим, фаундеры не обязаны лично вникать во всех подробностях в проблемы проекта, для этого они нанимают команду, должностных лиц на ключевые направления и делегируют им свои полномочия. Но полномочия всегда делегируются вместе с ответственностью.

Управление можно представить как совокупность четырёх функций и двух процессов. Это планирование, организация деятельности, мотивация и контроль. А реализуется менеджмент через информационный обмен и управленческие решения.

Это в теории. Что же происходит у нас?

Комьюнити Голоса не участвует в планировании, не вовлечено в организационную структуру (за исключением делегатов), не имеет мотивации повышать свою долю в проекте (силу голоса) и не контролирует происходящее. Комьюнити, т.е. группа людей с общими интересами, благодаря которым мы все здесь и собрались, участвует в информационном обмене с командой эпизодически, ситуативно. Чаще всего это реакция возмущения и негодования на очередной провал администрации или «пробитие дна» курсом токенов. Поскольку коммуникации (информационные каналы) не функционируют и не поддерживаются, вопросы и инициативы юзеров остаются без рассмотрения и ответа. И уж тем более пользователи не принимают участия в процессе принятия управленческих решений.

Менеджмент проекта неудовлетворительный, поэтому неудивительно, что экономика не работает. Эффективный управляющий и Большой Брат — это не одно и то же.

Ключевые вакантные должности: СEO и маркет-мейкер.

 

Почему не видно новых инвесторов?
Возможно, никому не нравится роль живых морепродуктов на «Октоберфесте»? Совсем недавно @alexna примерил на себя роль рака, когда вокруг разгружаются кеги, расставляются столики, а официантки, разодетые в стиле «дирндль», уже протирают огромные пивные бокалы.

Мы порядком устали друг от друга. Было бы здорово, если бы вы сделали своё присутствие на проекте менее заметным.

Базовые ценности, которые предоставляет блокчейн, никуда не делись, не трансформировались и сами по себе закладывают огромные перспективы в проект. Мы давно варимся в этой кухне, для нас они очевидны. Но остальной мир, как бы банально это не звучало, только-только открывает их для себя. Мы по прежнему пионеры этого революционного прорыва с масштабными последствиями, затрагивающими не только сферу информационного обмена, финансов, но и большинство других отраслей.

Почти все поточные проблемы развития медиаблокчейна Голос решаются принятием двух правил:

Голосование за делегатов в формате 1 токен = 1 голос (токены делятся между делегатами, за которых проголосовал юзер).
Оплата работы специалистов golos.core токенами из эмиссии (воркеры).
Что касается деятельности команды golos.io, справедливо было бы финансировать её за счёт внешних источников, как частный проект.
